American actor David Hasselhoff prefers the theatre to TV - despite his massive flop on New York's Broadway. The former Knight Rider star, whose run in stage musical Jekyll And Hyde ended in January following a barrage of negative critical reviews, is happier to tread the boards, even though he has enjoyed greater success on TV screens. He says, "It's an amazing challenge - you don't realize how hard it is until you're there. You do a show and you think it's over like when you do a film, but you have to go back and do it all over again every night. But it's a wonderful experience." The actor admits to finding life on stage a tiring experience, adding, "I prefer the stage, but you just can't do it all the time, because you'll die early! I've just decided to settle down and enjoy some time off because I've never had any time off. So now I plan to enjoy the family and take some time out to have a little vacation." He adds, "But I will be back at work very soon. I'm doing a movie next week and I'm working on the Knight Rider film, plus I'm planning to bring Jekyll and Hyde on a worldwide tour."...
