Sex & Nudity
-
- Antoine and a woman wake up in the morning and reference the previous night of passion. They then roll around on the floor together (the girl wearing a shirt that goes past her knees) through the entire opening credits, one on top of the other, then the other on top, etc.
- Standing near a doorway, Antoine asks if he can put his hand "there" and it is implied that he is touching a woman's private area, as her eyes open wide in surprise. We only see the couple from their chests upward.
- A couple is caught in bed, where we see the man bare chested, and down to the woman's shoulders. A couple shots later, the woman is seen in a medium shot, nude from the waist up as she puts a shirt on.
- Antoine's wife and another woman kiss eachothers' cheeks. His wife then relates that Antoine would never stop talking if he had just seen them kiss, as he has been reading a book series that has put it in his head that almost all women are lesbians.
- A woman on a train mentions that a man offered her money to sleep with him and that, due to a lack of decent income, she was planning to take him up on his offer.
Violence & Gore
-
- A flashback from "400 Blows" shows Antoine's father slap him very hard across the face.
- There are grisly details of death discussed in a law office, including mention of wrists slashed with glass. None of it is shown visually.
- A painting shows a man with a bloody eye being gouged out.
Profanity
-
- "ass" "shit" "bastard"
- Bad language is minimal in this film.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- No drug use is depicted. Smoking and alcohol may be included but in a casual context (nothing stood out).
