Sex & Nudity
-
- A woman does a belly dance which reveals some cleavage, stomach, upper pelvis and legs gyrating.
- The lead actress shows cleavage in some shots.
Violence & Gore
-
- More blood and gore than I would have thought for a film of that year.
- Two men's hands are cut off (off-screen). The hands are seen bloody as well as the bloody arms. One of the hands is thrown to another man on a horse, who catches it, laughing. Later the hand is seen stashed in a tent along with a knife.
- A tied-up man is stabbed with a knife or sword and killed.
- A mummy kills a number of men, struggling with some and lifting at least one by his throat. The mummy also crashes through doors and windows with considerable strength.
- A man fires a gun at a mummy (having no effect) and is killed.
- Two men fight aboard ship. One is thrown overboard.
- A man is picked up by a mummy and thrown to his death down a brick staircase and into the water.
- An Egyptian prince (shown in flashback) is stabbed to death and his aides killed.
Profanity
-
- 1 use of 'Bleeding' and a couple of 'Hell'
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Many of the characters are seen drinking alcohol and smoking throughout the film.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- There are many scenes involving fighting, attacks, stabbings and hurling which may be frightening/intense to some viewers.
- The mummy is very frightening when he appears, attacks and may upset young children.
- There are two scenes where a hand is cut off. Though off-screen, the severed hand is shown bloody as well as the bloody arm stumps. This would be very frightening to children or sensitive persons.
