- Commander Corey and youthful Cadet Happy roam the 30th-century universe in their ship "Terra" fighting super-villains Mr. Proteus, Prince Baccarratti, and other bad guys. The captured bad guys get zapped with the Paralyzer, then get reprogrammed with the Brainograph.
- Insurance agent Charlie and wife Margaret have their hands full with an active family. The teenagers Sharon and Chuck are anxious about things like first dates. The adorable twins Donna and Donald want to keep dad busy.
- Cadet Happy is ordered to "meet and greet" two new cadets who are the scions of prominent members of the government. He takes an immediate interest in pretty Joan "Jo" Vance, but Ferris Macklin, the son of the governor of Triton, immediately expresses his discontent with being forced to join the Space Patrol. Their relationship is further strained when Macklin blames Happy for taking Corry's space cruiser through a meteor belt causing a crash landing when he, in fact, disobeyed Happy's orders concerning their course.
- The former adviser to the long-deposed King of Venus plots to return the despot's son to power by use of the Z ray, a mind-controlling device, and a time-traveling spaceship which allows the two men to rob banks and disappear into the past. Commander Corry and Cadet Happy take the only rocket in the Space Patrol fleet with time-traveling capabilities and pursue the criminals back to the 20th-Century.
- The Space Patrol take a ship back into the past to Earth in 1952 with an urgent delivery of blood needed at the time. The star drive fails during the flight and the team land in an unknown time period.
- Commander Corry and Cadet Happy pursue time-traveling master criminals Zarro and Groata into Twentieth-Century earth. The crooks help Indians capture Corry and Happy and convince the tribe's chief that the Space Patrol men are evil spirits and must be burned at the stake.
- A slimy real estate assessor convinces a juvenile delinquent to help him buy a valuable space port on Titan by blowing up its fuel tanks. Their crooked plan goes off without a hitch until Major Robertson catches them red-handed. In desperation the schemers capture the Space Patrol personnel and leave their prisoners trapped with a time bomb while they steal Corry's battle cruiser to make their escape.
