- Something lurks off the coast of Block Island, silently influencing the behavior of fisherman, Tom Lynch. After suffering a series of violent outbursts, he unknowingly puts his family in grave danger.

- Spring 1634: Unidentified Indians kill John Stone, a scurrilous Englishman and pirate. The English blame the Pequots and for two years Colonial-Pequot tensions remain high. 1636: Block Island Indians kill John Oldham. The English send an expedition to punish the Block Islanders and to demand John Stone's killers from the Pequots. Talks with the Pequots break down and violence erupts. The Pequots attack English settlements, and the English declare war on the Pequots -- the first declared war in America. 1637: English Puritans, with Mohegan and Narragansett allies, burn a Pequot village at Missituck (Mystic), massacring 400-700 men, women, and children. The English pursue the remaining Pequots until most are either killed or enslaved. Pequots are forbidden to use their tribal name and are subjugated to other Native Tribes allied with the English. With the help of sympathetic English leaders, they eventually are able to reestablish their own communities, which become the first Indian reservations in America.
- Erebus is an anthology horror film inspired by the well-documented history of supernatural phenomenon in Rhode Island. Using Block Island's intimate setting as a backdrop, Erebus centers around the Gorham House, a mysterious old hotel with a torrid history of violent occult activity, as well as supernatural, and paranormal. Seeking to document the hotel for a new book, Samantha and Benny, journey to investigate the hotel, learning of its terrifying history along the way by relaying three horrifying tales of its previous owners. "Devil" - Robert Neville was the reclusive inheritor and owner of the Gorham House in the 1950s. Within the bowels of the hotel he harbors a grotesque secret, which unfortunately for him, just got out. "Exposure" - Frank Martin is a 1970s era forensic photographer who is commissioned by the historical society to take on the task of photographing all their properties, starting with the Gorham House. As he begins to photograph the premises his pictures expose malevolent presence and he makes the morbid realization that he is not alone... "Haxan" - When a team of paranormal investigators, in the late 2000s, venture to the Gorham House to investigate the rumored paranormal phenomenon, their pursuit of the supernatural provides their most substantial evidence to date. However, their excitement quickly turns to horror when the contact they establish with the hotel's residents begins to prove fatal.

Dejected, Margot begs to go home, but her father insists that because her mother was of high birth, she is worthy of Jack's attentions. Margot learns of Adele's affair with a married man, Alexander Gibson, and warns her against continuing the romance. Believing Margot to be interested in Gibson herself, Adele flies into a jealous rage, and the lover is accidentally shot in the struggle. Margot is accused of the murder and nobly accepts the guilty verdict, but Adele finally vindicates her and she is able to marry Jack.
