- In a version of 1985 where superheroes exist, the murder of a colleague sends active vigilante Rorschach on the trail of a conspiracy that will change the course of history.
- To teach a team of Russian wanna-be baseball players the finer points of the all-American game is no easy task, but for a grudgingly resentful, recently fired baseball manager from the States, the task is formidable. In fact, there are many times when he considers chucking the whole thing and going back home and forgetting baseball entirely. But he perseveres... to the point where he finally believes that his players may be good enough to represent the Soviet Union in the upcoming Olympics in America. However, performing in this Country under such pressures not only shows these Russian players something about themselves, it also makes their American manager aware of something rather special about himself, as well.
- A baseball player is overwhelmed by a special 4400 ability. Collier is involved with a weapons' dealer. To Maia's delight Diana's sister visits them. Richard and Lily seek shelter at a motel where Isabelle takes some surprising initiatives.
- Mama Colton, MacGyver, and the daughter of a baseball legend join forces to take down a group of criminals that produce counterfeit baseball cards and other baseball related collector's items.
- Anna and Kristina are not looking forward to testing their latest cookbook "How to Grill" as use of a barbecue is generally the domain of the male. They are however looking forward to getting out of the house as they are going to be cooking outside at Nat Bailey Stadium for the players of the Vancouver Canadians triple-A baseball team. They will also be cooking for their guest chef taster, Bob Haselbach, also known as BBQ Bob, a two-time barbecue grand champion. They learn from Chef Bob the difference between barbecuing and grilling. Anna and Kristina's all day barbecuing/grilling menu consists of beer can chicken, Texas brisket, Kansas City pork ribs, stuffed "hot dogs" (they will be using veggie dogs to provide a vegetarian option for their food tasters), corn on the cob, grilled stuffed cabbage, smoky potatoes, and roasted pears. They are caught up in two debates: if there is a difference between gas and charcoal barbecues, and if it is better to husk or not husk the corn for grilling. They also taste test veggie hot dogs with a bunch of unsuspecting baseball players. At the end of the day, they find that barbecuing is easier than other activities taking place at Nat Bailey Stadium.
- An old colleague working unofficially for the current government asks Wolfgang to work on a case. The previous government had peddled the notion of combining all border and customs services under one umbrella agency, something that the current government has quashed. However, some of those forces from the previous government are trying to resurrect the idea, the agent now tasked with gathering ammunition to battle the idea. The previous government had used a bomb threat at the local baseball stadium eighteen months ago as a case to support the umbrella agency, the bomb threat billed as a terrorist threat. However, the current government believes that the former government may have been complicit in that threat to support the umbrella agency. Wolfgang decides to call in an old asset to work the file for him, that asset being a man named Norman. Beyond briefing Norman on the case, Wolfgang may have to hold his hands in more ways than one as Norman has a weakness for flamboyant young men, and substances of different kinds, both which got him into trouble in the past. Meanwhile, with Vince's death, Rufus has moved to the top of the food chain in the partnership with the Red Mountain Triad. As Tony is now working on the movie with many of the Red Mountain associates involved, such as lead actress Mei Mei, and requires financing, it is now incumbent on Rufus to move the drugs so that those working on the movie can get paid. Tony suggests an old associate named Bennie as a dealer who may want some of the drugs. Rufus has to draw a fine line in moving the product, while figuring out how to maximize profit. But being the illicit drug trade, many things can potentially go awry. And Al and Sproule have a negotiation of sorts regarding their professional association with Lily Song. Al, who is irked by what looks to be Sproule's imminent promotion, believes he has a way to use Lily to his advantage in the matter.
- Wolfgang and Norman continue their investigation into the handling of the supposed jihadi bomb threat that led to the death of Khalil Mustafa, the young Muslim man carrying the explosive. Norman is certain Wolfgang's mugging has something to do with they investigating the case, something Wolfgang doesn't believe. But as they talk to people involved, many inconsistencies in the stories arise, some which they know are outright lies. Beyond wading through the stories to catch the lies that are said on purpose, they have find the holes in the stories to discover what some may believe to be the truth but aren't. In the end, Wolfgang may come a little closer to Norman's belief that there was a deep conspiracy orchestrated at the highest levels of authority. Meanwhile, Rufus has to take some control of the distribution of the drugs with Bennie's death. Some of Bennie's operatives, most specifically Shorts, don't fully trust Rufus, while Lana has to decide if she believes Rufus is telling the truth in that he had nothing to do with Bennie's murder. This transition phase in Bennie's operation is not a smooth one, especially when it comes to the flow of cash. This causes somewhat of a problem with the movie shoot, as some of the crew have yet to be paid. To ensure her own future security, Mei decides to take some control of the situation. Elsewhere, one of Fergie's most reliable snitches has landed himself in the morgue, with Wolfgang providing some assistance in filling that gap for Fergie. And Lily begins her double dealing with Al and Sproule, she having to decide where her allegiances lie in the competing stories told to her by each.
