Eventually she confronts the person responsible for her treatment, and she drops a surprise on him.

- Tony and McGee unsuccessfully try to follow Lee's pickup man; a satellite leads the gang to a house with a secret room and a dead body; a second stakeout produces a different result, which takes the team to a solution, a catch, and more.
- In Washington DC, a petty officer's body is found four and a half months after he had died; another officer dies in Morocco and Ziva sustains an injury. Gibbs and company find a link and reach a solution. Ziva gladly returns to the NCIS.

- A Navy recruiter dies after becoming shoved down a staircase at a high school in Fairfax, Virginia; Gibbs and company investigate. Dr. Magnus, Ducky's predecessor, visits. Gibbs and the gang eventually figure it out and finger the bad guy.
- Two teenagers find the battered body of a Marine Corps Reserve sergeant in his own backyard; Gibbs and company investigate. The team find evidence of sad stories. Gibbs pursues a bruise and figures it out, then the gang bust the bad guy.
- Someone shoots and kills the executive officer (XO) of a Naval vessel, a commander, in his own stateroom; Gibbs and company investigate. However, a shrink (a persistent and presumptuous one) arrives to conduct mandatory psychologic evaluations for all members of the gang, and she accompanies them aboard the ship. Ziva recognizes the spent brass as Russian. Word of the murder spreads fast, for seven international journalists are aboard as guests; one reporter makes a confession and reveals a potential powder keg. The team continue, and they eventually find the solution. Meanwhile, the shrink also continues, eliciting a number of flashbacks, mostly related to Kate Todd, a former member and special agent. Eventually Tony and Gibbs realize who the shrink is, then she submits her report to the director.
- A US Marine dies in an explosion at a US embassy; he saves a foreign official and others; the NCIS provides security to the official's daughter in Washington, DC; kidnappers abduct her, and another man dies. The Gibbs gang figure it out.
- A Metro cop in Washington, DC, finds a set of severed fingertips which prove to be those of a Marine corporal; Gibbs and company investigate; McGee finds the corresponding body in the local morgue; Ducky concludes that the corporal was a victim of stretching to death on a rack. McGee and Ziva meet Max, who used a credit card of the dead Marine; excitement occurs while McGee interviews her; Tony and Ziva meet and interview another interesting chick; McGee pursues with Max. Gibbs asks whether the corporal died because Max, a former girlfriend, made a record score on a video game. Ziva gets a lead on a major game programmer, but he has disappeared; Gibbs meets an arms dealer. Tony and McGee find the body of the missing programmer, with mutilations identical to those on the Marine. Gibbs and McGee get a confession, then the gang search for a particular computer; McGee guides Gibbs, who finds it and announces "game over". Tony makes a date for McGoo.
- Two teenagers find the body of a former NCIS employee; Gibbs and company investigate; in the trunk of the victim's car Gibbs and McGee find stolen property from a current case. The gang find the details and the people responsible.
- A "meter maid" sees a body inside a home in Washington, DC; the victim, a retired Marine colonel, received seven blows of an ax; Gibbs and company question a prime suspect, who denies involvement and helps Gibbs to arrest the real killer.
- In a national forest near Washington, DC, a young couple find the body of a Navy lieutenant commander in his dress-blue uniform; Gibbs and company investigate; on a rock nearby Tony finds a single word written in the victim's blood. The Metro PD finds the victim's abandoned car in Washington. Ducky finds that the shooter used ammunition of an unusual type, Gibbs and McGee talk with a specialty publisher, and Tony and Ziva find the body of an FBI agent, so Fornell enters the picture. The publisher leaves the country, then Gibbs and Fornell speak with the author of a mysterious book, who tells them about the contents. Tony, McGee, and Ziva arrive at a self-store room in time to see two stars and a couple of helpers get blown up; the admiral recovers well enough to go home, and he gives Gibbs and Fornell a lead; they pursue it, but Abby says to hold the phone, then she directs them to the real killer, and they nail him.
- At the high school at Quantico, students and teachers fall asleep while in class; Gibbs and company investigate; one girl disappears. A grandfather both helps and interferes. Temp interns join. The gang solve the case and find the girl.
- Gibbs and company investigate the murder of a member of the US Navy; EJ has investigated three previous similar deaths, so Vance gives her the lead. A suspect turns out to be another victim. Ziva's boyfriend is something else. [Continued.]
- EJ and her team take over the P2P case; Gibbs and company investigate the death of a Navy woman officer. The solution, first believed to be simple, proves to be complicated. The killer jumps Ziva, and the gang pounce on him. [Continued.]
- Gibbs and company investigate a body wearing a dress-blue uniform of a three-star admiral; Tony recognizes the victim; they first suspect another P2P killing; however, Ducky suggests otherwise. The gang find both the killer and the motive.
- Gibbs and Tony follow EJ and her team to a nearly vacant building; they find that the P2P murderer has killed Levin, seriously injured Cade, and kidnapped EJ; Gibbs pursues the suspect and EJ; he finds her, left to suffocate. McGeek traces a phone number to CI-Ray (Ziva's boyfriend). Ducky, with help from Gibbs, explains the changes in the MO of the killer. From Levin's left forearm EJ secretly removes a small object. Ziva tries to intercept Ray, but Cobb, the suspect, intercepts and kidnaps her; later, while Gibbs, Tony, McGee, and EJ are present inside a hotel room, Cobb arrives, enters, and surrenders, but he refuses to tell where he put Ziva. However, Abby provides clues to a place, where the gang plus Ray find and rescue Ziva, who gives explanations. Back at the HQ, Cobb escapes with two hostages; Gibbs and others follow; a confrontation ends the career of the P2P killer. The SecNav resigns, and his successor gives Tony a highly sensitive and classified task.
- A woman Marine sergeant, who's a bomb-disposal tech, shoots to death an intruder in her pad; Gibbs and company investigate; Fornell and another FBI member become involved. The gang find everyone and figure out everything; it all works out.
- The body of a petty officer shows up in a hot tub; Gibbs and company investigate; Ducky sees an unusual clue; Abby finds a link to the Royal Navy. A Royal Marine major and a CIA agent prove to be something else. The gang catch the bad guy.
- A shooter kills three people, including a Navy commander, on live talk radio; Gibbs and company investigate; they believe that the host was the main target. The gang pursue clues to a bomb at a baseball diamond, where they nab the bad guy.
- A Naval Reserve lieutenant, who's a chemical engineer, dies when a city bus accidentally hits her on a street in Washington, DC; Gibbs and company investigate. Abby deciphers mysterious writings; the gang figures it out and nab the perp.
- An admiral finds the body of a long-time friend; Gibbs and company investigate. Tony and Ziva pick up Tony's father, who appears to have become connected with the victim. Sr. does a favor, and Ziva accompanies him. The gang figure it out.
- Vance hosts a conference of high-level members of the NCIS; he invites Eli, who accepts. Eli's presence raises security concerns; Gibbs and company take part in the protective arrangements. Threats arise, and the gang respond. [Continued.]
- An attack has killed one and left Vance with serious injuries; Gibbs takes charge by Vance's order. Eli reveals details about an operation 22 years old. Gibbs and the gang put the pieces together. The bad guy emerges, and justice prevails.
- Investigating the death of an intruder at Quantico, Jimmy and Kasie are exposed to a deadly bio-toxin. The NCIS team calls on Doctor Carol Wilson for help as they race to find the antidote. Torres tries to distract Jimmy's daughter, who came to spend the day with her dad.

- NCIS investigates a ring of clever teenage partygoers when a string of break-ins takes place at Marine Base Quantico. While working the case, Special Agent McGee forms a bond with one of the teens, Teagan Fields.
- The NCIS team investigates the unexpected death of a Navy reservist who was working on a Deputy Attorney General's investigation. Also, Knight and Jimmy's budding romance is put on hold when a vital liver transfer goes fatally wrong.
- Tony, during his task for the SecNav, took fire and sustained a concussion, and he acquired the bloody badge of some other NCIS agent; however, he has no memory of his activities. Gibbs and a shrink help Tony to begin to regain his memory.
- A Marine private first-class returns from Afghanistan to his hometown in time for a welcoming party for him during homecoming week; however, when he arrives, he staggers in, mortally wounded, then collapses and dies; Gibbs and company investigate; Ducky says that death resulted from stab wounds. Ziva spots a piece of evidence, but it becomes hard to obtain it; Tony and Ziva find that the victim had started with a disadvantaged childhood, became adopted into a military family, then enlisted in the Marine Corps and established an impeccable record. Abby finds some interesting electronic evidence, then Tony and McGee find something while hiking, and McGee makes some new friends. Abby makes important discoveries; the gang learn about multiple identities, a forged letter, stolen funds, and a hidden relationship, and they rescue from death a man who then dies. Eventually they put the pieces together, and they get help for someone who needs help.
- The team investigate a kidnapping that has a personal connection for one of them, and stirs up painful memories from the past.
- In Washington, DC, near the Capitol a van accidentally hits and critically injures a pedestrian, who proves to be The Cooler, a wanted contract assassin, whose next target appears to be a Navy lieutenant commander; Gibbs and company investigate the target, LCdr. Geoffrey Brett, and his circumstances, including the threat. The Cooler briefly regains consciousness in a hospital, then dies before an NCIS agent reaches him. Ziva acts as Brett's protective escort, but he ditches her. Tony and McGee meet a CPA, then she dies. The three musketeers gather pieces of evidence and, with Gibbs, put them together; Brett says that he needs a lawyer. Meanwhile Abby volunteers to become an organ donor, learns more about herself, visits a pet-rescue center, meets someone whom she admires, examines her own feelings, and has a serious chat with Gibbs.
