- Emile Boreo was an actor, comedian, and producer. He created a production titled "Mirage de Paris", which was presented as the dream of a French clown who sees scenes he remembers of Parisian nightlife with all its beauty, excitement, laughter, and drama. It included Betty Felsen and Jack Broderick, of the acclaimed dancing act of Broderick & Felsen, in the starring roles with elaborate sets and costumes and around 30 other performers. The show opened on February 21, 1926, at Chicago's premier vaudeville theater, the Palace. After a successful week at the Palace followed by a week in St. Louis and another week back in Chicago, the show played to outstanding reviews at Orpheum circuit theaters in the United States and Canada through May, and probably throughout most of the summer.
