Jonathan Torrens has worked as a performer, writer and producer for 15 years. In 1989, he started a seven-year run as one of the hosts of Street Cents, an International Emmy award-winning consumer/sketch show for youth. In 1996, Torrens began a five year stint as the host of his own sketch/talk show Jonovision, for which he earned seven Gemini Award nominations, including Best Individual Performance in a Comedy Series and Best Comedy Series. Jonathan Cross's Canada, his parody of a Charles Kuralt style newsmagazine show, aired on CBC last year. As an actor, Jonathan has guest starred twice each on the topical comedies This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Royal Canadian Air Farce, along with recurring roles in the period drama Pit Pony and the sitcom Rideau Hall. This year he's had guest starring roles on Degrassi: The Next Generation and the sketch comedy Listen Missy. As a host, Jonathan's credits are as varied as Living Romance, Canada Day, The CBC News Millenium Special, The East Coast Music Awards and Sesame Park. In film, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 1999 Atlantic Film Festival for his feature debut in Thom Fitzgerald's Beefcake. His first romantic comedy, The Breadmaker, premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival in 2003. On the other side of the camera, he has produced and co-written two award-winning shorts: Liquor Store, which won Best Short and Best Director at the Atlantic Film Festival in 1996, and Nan's Taxi, which won the Gemini Award for Best Short Drama in 1997.- Jackie Torrens is a writer, actor, director and documentary filmmaker based in Halifax, NS. Brenda Campbell hails from Prince Edward Island in Canada and divides her time between Vancouver, Toronto and Los Angeles. Discovered by an agent in the summer of '97, this beautiful, talented actress was bitten by the acting bug and has never looked back. She lost her mother at an early age, and was raised by her maternal grandparents. She began to keep a diary and discovered at the age of 10 that she could write poetry. After college she became a teacher but kept writing. In 1908 her first novel, "Anne of Green Gables", was published after having been rejected by several publishers. It was a success. She followed up with a whole series of novels about Anne, and many other stories as well, including a second series starting with "Emily of New Moon". The novels about Anne and Emily are semi-autobiographical and contain many of her own memories from the 1880s and 1890s on Prince Edward Island in Canada. Her novels have been published in over 40 languages, and Anne is known all over the world. Mongomery's books are particularly popular in Japan.

Michael Kennedy is an award-winning, versatile director with a reputation for creating imaginative work that achieves critical and commercial success while addressing significant social issues. He has directed 23 feature-length films/TV movies and over 230 episodes of prime-time drama and comedy including the entire first season of the ground-breaking hit series "Little Mosque On The Prairie" that used humor to attack racism against Muslims in the post-911 world. He was a co-winner of The Canada Award (one of the Special Gemini Awards) for promoting diversity in Canadian television. He was recently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction, TV Movie for "#Roxie", which was also nominated for Best TV Movie. In 2023 Michael was inducted as a "Visionary" onto the Image Arts Wall of Fame at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Born in Prince Edward Island, John began his career in Film and TV after landing principal roles in the popular TV series Trailer Park Boys as Phil the Hydroponics guy, and appearing on the Comedy Network's TV series Liocracy, starring the late Leslie Nielson.
Recent credits include: CBC's Diggstown, USA Network's, Falling Water and the role of Cabinet Minister Andre Bissonnette in Rhombus Media's comedic satire, "Mulroney -The Opera" directed by Larry Weinstein. Dylan is a globally-acclaimed Indian and Canadian filmmaker. His documentary feature film Fire in the Blood premiered in competition at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and went on to enjoy the longest theatrical run of any non-fiction film in Indian cinema history (five weeks). An official selection at over 100 leading film festivals on six continents, honoured with major awards and accolades worldwide, Fire in the Blood changed the global conversation around access to essential medicine and, in November 2018, was included by legendary Australian journalist and documentary filmmaker John Pilger among his selection of "26 landmark documentary films of the past seven decades". Of Dylan's filmmaking, critics have said "Dylan Mohan Gray has made cinematic provocation something of a signature" (The Dallas Morning News) and that "Gray's images are exquisite and unsparing... artful in nearly every frame, perhaps so we don't avert our eyes" (The Village Voice & LA Weekly). At the age of 4, Darren was fascinated with a toy film projector he received one Christmas morning. Constructing mock TV cameras and studio sets with his Lego, he had a passion to create and tell stories. At 16, he wrote, produced and directed a 5 episode drama series with the help of a local theater group and the community TV channel.
