Bijou Thaangjam is a multifaceted personality known as a chef and actor. He is also known as lyricist, Entrepreneur and an art director who hails from Imphal, Manipur. He was a contestant of popular cooking show MasterChef India season 2. Bijou also play noted character roles in Bollywood films and TV shows. He is best known for playing the brief role of Naobi in the biopic -Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra. After this film, he got numerous offers from movies and television, and now a series of movies are lined up for release. He was born of 24th March 1986 in Imphal, Manipur. He schooled from Tiny Tot's Unique School, Imphal and completed his graduation from Bangalore University. Since young he has been interested in cooking and acting, later he excelled in both these forms of art. He appeared in MasterChef India season 2, where he finished as one of the top 50 contestants. He also appeared in the reality show UTVStars Superstar Santa. He moved to Mumbai in 2012 to pursue a career in acting. In 2014 he bagged his first Bollywood film, Mary Kom. Govindini Murty is a writer, actress, and independent filmmaker. Govindini has a B.A. from Yale University and has been published in The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and other media outlets. Govindini was born in India and moved to Canada when she was seven. Her father was an author and senior official in the Indian government and her mother is a Canadian anthropologist. When Govindini was fifteen, she lived a year on the island of Borneo, Malaysia. Govindini graduated from Yale University with a BA in East Asian Studies in 1997. Govindini went on to pursue acting in Vancouver, then Los Angeles, working in independent films, TV, commercials, and theater. She has done commercials for companies such as Allstate Insurance, Staples, and General Electric. Govindini has been a member of the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, playing numerous roles, including Miranda in "The Tempest." Other stage roles include Lady Nijo in "Top Girls" and Margot in "Dial "M" for Murder," for which she won a Best Actress Award.
From 2003-2004, Govindini wrote and acted in the independent feature "Terminal Island," directed by Jason Apuzzo. Irvin Kershner, director of "The Empire Strikes Back" mentored Govindini and Jason on "Terminal Island." Since then, Govindini has become an in-demand commentator on film, appearing on ABC's "At the Movies," CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, BBC, France's Canal Plus, AMC's "The Movie Club, and numerous national radio talk shows. Govindini has co-hosted (with Richard Roeper) an episode of ABC's "At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper," the most popular movie review show in America. In 2010, Govindini and Jason Apuzzo launched Libertas Film Magazine, which covers independent films with a focus on human rights and individual freedom.
Govindini has gone on to write film commentary at The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, and other sites, and regularly covers film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, AFI, and TCM. Govindini has interviewed such notable film figures as Kurt Russell, Stan Lee, Werner Herzog, Maureen O'Hara, Ray Bradbury, Ray Harryhausen, Tippi Hedren, Jane Russell, George Takei, and many others. Govindini has also interviewed women directors like Catherine Hardwicke, Lynn Shelton, and Lake Bell, and often writes about the need for greater representation of women both on-screen and behind the camera in Hollywood's movies. In 2013, Govindini spoke at Social Media Week LA's "Power Women in Entertainment" panel. Govindini also has a strong interest in space exploration, having been selected for a 2013 NASA Earth-Science Social. She has visited NASA-JPL many times, and has written about the need for more movies that accurately represent space science.
In 2016, Govindini acted in and produced the WWII women-led sci-fi film "UFO Diary," edited by Emmy Award-winning ABC editor Mitchell Danton, with VFX by Antony Vannapho ("The Avengers," "The Twilight Saga"), Kiel Figgins ("X-Men: First Class," "Oblivion"), Sean Dollins ("Prometheus," "Captain America"), Rini Sugianto ("The Hunger Games," "Iron Man 3"), and other talented VFX artists. "UFO Diary" had its festival premiere at the 2016 HollyShorts Film Festival at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, where it opened the VFX Showcase, and has screened as an Official Selection of the 2016 Dragon Con Independent Film Festival, the 2016 Zamoxis Short Film Showcase, the 2017 Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival, the 2017 Roswell Sci-Fi Film Festival, the 2017 San Pedro International Film Festival, and the 2018 Artemis Women in Action Film Festival. "UFO Diary" next screens at the 2018 Gen Con Film Festival. "UFO Diary" has over 10,000 fans on Facebook and has been featured in The Huffington Post and American Cinematographer magazine for its striking cinematography and cutting-edge VFX.- Mukammal and Salmon 3D fame Minakshi Jaiswal is an Indian actress/Model active in Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu Industry. Priyakanta Laishram is an Indian film actor, filmmaker, writer, film producer, film editor and LGBTQIA+ activist who predominantly appears in Manipuri films. He is a recipient of several international and national level film awards.
Popularly known as Priyakanta Thoi Laishram, he is the first filmmaker from Manipur, India to make the first mainstream Manipuri feature film based on same sex relationships and sexual identity - "ONENESS" (2023).
He has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media from Mumbai University with specialization in Advertising. He also earned an Honours degree in Sociology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. As of 2023, he is pursuing Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication at Amity University, Noida. He did his schooling from Tiny Tots' Unique School (Imphal), H.R.D Academy (Imphal) and GMSSS 35, (Chandigarh).

Priyakanta Laishram was born on November 07, 1998 in the Imphal East district of Manipur, into a Meitei family. Priyakanta's father, Harendra Laishram is an MPS Officer and his mother, Jibanlata Laishram, was an actress. His elder sister Caroline Laishram is a renowned fashion designer. His mother passed away due to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis in 2016 after fighting for 4 years.
He started making short films when he was just 9 years old by using a mobile phone (Nokia N70). And all this was done without any help from any experts. Laishram was not trained under any director. It was his determination to follow his passion that prompted him to learn and excel at filmmaking. Asian News International cited him as "Manipur's Rising Star". ANI wrote "Youth like Priyakanta are brand ambassadors for change that can take place in the Manipur and are a source of inspiration for many." His works gained recognition in North East India and he received certificates of appreciation from many organizations. He received several titles including "India's Youngest Filmmaker" by Reuters International, "Youngest Film-Maker 2009" by Nokia CNN Mobiles & "Nokia Award For Outstanding Contribution 2009" by Nokia.- Mirabai Chanu was born on 8 August 1994 in Imphal East, Manipur, India. - Thounaojam Strela Luwang is an Indian television anchor, social activist, model, and beauty pageant title holder who finished second in the Femina Miss India 2023 competition. After winning Femina Miss India Manipur 2023, she represented her state of Manipur in Femina Miss India 2023. In 2017, she won the Miss Manipur pageant. She was also one of the top five finalists in the 2016-17 Miss Diva Northeast pageant.
