Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

Original Air Date: 14 March 2005 Allison's recurring dream of two young boys who are racing a train - only to become separated when one gets across the track and the other doesn't - leads her to Professor Leonard Cardwell whose area of expertise is communication with the afterlife. Meanwhile, D.A. Devalos enlists Allison's help with a 14-year-old confessed murderer who's confessed to a councilman's murder.

But when the girlfriend of the inmate is killed, and the inmate's ghost is seen at the crime scene, Allison is brought in to investigate. Also, Allison discovers a dark secret about the mother of a boy that Ariel has a crush on.

Original Air Date: 2 May 2005 An old murder case in which both Scanlon and Devalos were involved is re-opened. Allison is confused when she finds out that the convict did not commit the crime and her colleagues may have tampered with the evidence. She also has dreams of another murder whose connection to the case she does not understand first. At the same time, Joe's mother visits Allison and Joe, and Joe's father also appears to Allison.

When Allison finds out about the identity of this mysterious man, she decides to meet a doctor who had been convicted of a very similar crime more than a decade before and is now under psychiatric supervision. Allison meets the girl whom she saw in her dreams in a place she would not have expected.

Allison starts having visions about the man but D.A. Devalos orders her not to work on the case because of a conflict of interests.

Original Air Date: 28 November 2005 Allison dreams about hitting a girl with her car and a woman whose house is haunted. She finds out that the woman killed herself. Now Allison is trying to put all the pieces together.

In the meantime, Allison's MRI results let Joe create a theory of Allison's visionary power and he tries to persuade their daughters to get MRI to (dis)prove the theory.

The Devalos' have to deal with the anniversary of their daughter's death. She committed suicide 6 years before without leaving a note or saying goodbye. Joe has been putting in a number of late nights on a major project and is a bit obsessed that one of the kids may have given him chicken pox.
Original Air Date: 7 February 2007 Captain Push has dreams about a series of crimes committed in Phoenix and contacts Allison to tell her about his visions. Allison believes that Push's visionary ability is due to his long coma in the past but Push has doubts. In the meantime, Push has to submit himself to another medical operation and encounters some people in the hospital whom he had seen in a different context and circumstance before.

Original Air Date: 17 March 2008 The police arrest Graham Stacey when they learn that his wife's life was insured for $7 million. Allison's dreams confirm his version of events. Allison continues to dream about the missing prostitute and the sadistic dentist but Cynthia Keener doesn't think the information is very useful. Allison eventually realizes there is a connection between Mrs. Stacey's death and the dentist. Ariel has information however that provides a vital clue in solving the mystery. Joe's mother shares a secret with Allison and that she may be able to help.
Original Air Date: 24 March 2008 Allison's dreams involve Cynthia Keener in a very personal way, and Joe's inspiration for solar power causes conflict with Allison.
Original Air Date: 31 March 2008 Allison continues to dream about Cynthia Keener's daughter and manages to determine where her daughter's remains are to be found. Both she and Cynthia are convinced that Joanna Wheeler is the culprit but cannot find any evidence to prove it. When the one potential witness they do have is murdered, Cynthia is left with only one solution. Bridgette tells her dad that she had a dream about him getting a loan at the bank. All he has to do is go to the white-haired man and all his problems will be solved. The solution isn't quite as simple as getting a loan however.
Original Air Date: 7 April 2008 Allison dreams of a sexy, attractive woman who seems to be an expert at picking up men in bars and then killing them. The murders are quite violent but when the police finally arrest the woman in Allison has seen in dreams, she turns out to be a best-selling author on how to meet the opposite sex. But is she the killer? Manuel Devalos launches his campaign for District Attorney but Allison senses that one of his biggest supporters is conspiring with the current DA to blacken Manny's reputation.
Original Air Date: 14 April 2008 Allison finds herself working with FBI Agent Edward Cooper with whom she had previously worked (see Episode 3.6) and who didn't hesitate to execute a suspect when the criminal justice system failed to convict him. He's now looking for a serial killer and when Allison tells him she's seen the killer in her dreams, he insists that she work with him. Joe meanwhile is still trying to find investors for his solar energy project. He's been turned down pretty well everywhere but when someone finally comes forward, it's on the condition that they get 51% ownership of the new undertaking.
Original Air Date: 21 April 2008 Allison's dream about a friend of Lynn DiNovi's puts her in the middle of an investigation that escalates to five murders and unrelated suspects. At home, Joe must find some way to convince an optometrist Marie can't read his chart.
Original Air Date: 28 April 2008 Allison's new used car turns out to have been central to a murder, and her visions get a little interactive; a patent threat stresses Joe and Meghan.
