Antony Starr has made a major impact as the psychotic Supe known as Homelander over three seasons of Prime Video's The Boys adaptation, but is there a chance he might suit-up as a more conventional superhero at some point?
A recent rumor claimed that the title role in the planned Max Booster Gold series has already been cast, and when fans noticed that Starr and DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn had started following each other on Instagram, speculation mounted that the Aussie actor may have been cast as Michael Jon Carter.
Why that particular character and not another Dcu role? Well, Booster is blonde, and Starr... plays a blonde guy on The Boys.
At any rate, it doesn't sound like the social media sleuths have landed on something here - not that Starr would confirm if they had!
"Me and James just play golf," Starr told ComicBook.com when asked about the rumors.

The first three seasons of "Star Trek: Voyager" featured a character named Kes, played by actress Jennifer Lien. Kes was an interesting concept for a "Star Trek" show: she belonged to a species called the Ocampa that only had a lifespan of nine years. If "Voyager" was to last for seven seasons (as "Star Trek: The Next Generation" did before it), then audiences would watch a two-year-old Kes grow from an adolescent to an old woman by the series finale. Her existence on the U.S.S. Voyager could serve as a symbolic microcosm for a whole human life.
Kes was not a Starfleet officer but was given a provisional position on the Voyager serving as a medical assistant to the ship's snippy unnamed Doctor (Robert Picardo). The Doctor was an Emergency Medical Hologram that the Voyager had to employ out of desperation after the ship's medical staff all died in a massive cataclysm.

Agatha made her debut in the Disney+ series ‘WandaVision’ as the nosy neighbor-turned-powerful witch who attempted to steal Wanda’s powers. Following her defeat in the series, Agatha is left powerless and trapped in her mundane persona, a fate likely to be explored in the first episode of her own show. In the comics, Agatha is depicted as one of the most formidable magic users in the Marvel Universe, establishing a significant connection between the characters.
Given Agatha’s compelling presence in ‘WandaVision,’ it was a natural choice for her to receive her own spinoff series. With the release date of ‘Agatha’ drawing nearer, here’s a summary of everything we know about the upcoming show.
Agatha embarks on a journey to reclaim her lost powers

Agatha debuted in the Disney+ series ‘WandaWision,’ as the nosy neighbour-turned-powerful witch who tried to steal Wanda’s powers. By the end of the show, Agatha is defeated and trapped in her noisy neighbor persona, left powerless, which will obviously translate to the first episode of the show. It wasn’t surprising when it was decided that Agatha would get her own show, the first spinoff derived from ‘WandaVision.’ Now since the release date for ‘Agatha’ is getting closer we decided to summarize everything we know about the show.

This author recalls reading an issue of TV Guide in 1994 about the then-upcoming TV series "Star Trek: Voyager," set to debut in January of 1995. The TV Guide noted that Robert Picardo, a Joe Dante repertory player, would play a character named Doc Zimmerman, the holographic doctor on board the U.S.S. Voyager. This name was culled from pre-production notes on the series, and the showrunner fully intended for Zimmerman to be the character's name.
The premise of the show, however, dictated that the Doctor have no name. The Doctor was an Emergency Medical Hologram, only meant to be activated in times of extreme crisis when a chief medical officer is not available. Once the crisis was over, the hologram was meant to be shut off. Thanks to the stranded state of the U.S.S. Voyager, however — it was stranded across the galaxy, 70 years from home — the Doctor was never shut off.

In the pilot episode of "Star Trek: Voyager" -- called "Caretaker" -- the chief medical officer on board the U.S.S. Voyager was killed in an alien-inflicted cataclysm that swept the clear across the galaxy in a matter of moments. With the ship damaged and the medical staff wiped out, the Voyager crew had to rely on a temporary Emergency Medical Hologram to serve as the ship's main doctor.
For the first few seasons, the Emh (Robert Picardo) was snippy and impatient, having been programmed to respond only to emergencies. Using the Emh so frequently, however, caused it to develop a consciousness and a personality. Before long, the unnamed Doctor was seen as an official member of the crew.
Because he was a hologram, the Doctor was typically confined to the sickbay, where his holographic emitters were equipped. He could also be transferred directly to the ship's holodeck occasionally,...

Valorie Curry as Firecracker

It might be one year premature for its 30th anniversary, but David Fincher’s Seven is having a moment. Following the release of the 8K transfer of the 1995 film, Fincher has left himself no choice but to dig back into the archives – and that includes the test screenings, described by the director as “disastrous.”
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, David Fincher said that Seven tested in the 50s with audiences, a deadly sin in its own right within the movie industry. But Fincher believes that the test audience had been duped, as promotional fliers teased the wrong movies from his stars. “They brought me this little 5-by-7-inch card that said: “Would you like to see a new movie starring Brad Pitt (‘Legends of the Fall’) and Morgan Freeman (‘Driving Miss Daisy’)?” It made no sense to me. You’re not going to market this movie to...

Video game adaptations have been all the rage in recent years, following successes like The Last of Us and Fallout. So, it was only a matter of time before Fortnite joined the conversation. Since its release in 2017, this game has consistently been at the top of the list of the most popular games ever played.
Epic Games’ Fortnite
Therefore, a Fortnite movie seems like a natural next step to keep fans happy. However, fans believe that leading such a project in the correct way would require someone like Donald Mustard. Yet, his stepping down from his position and exiting Epic Games complicates the situation further.
Is a Fortnite Movie on the Horizon?
The Fortnite movie discussion has been swirling in the air for quite some time now. It’s become such a hot topic that it’s caught the attention of fans, and rumors have it, even of filmmakers like Zack Snyder and Louis Leterrier.

The Boys are heading to Ccxp Mexico this weekend (where we might finally get a new trailer), and Prime Video has debuted some new season 4 key art featuring Billy Butcher and the gang crashing Homelander's party.
As we know, the psychotic leader of The Seven will be joining Victoria Neuman on the Presidential campaign trail, and almost certainly has designs on the Oval Office himself.
Butcher doesn't have long to live following his diagnosis in the season 3 finale, but you can bet your ass he'll be using what time he has left to make Homelander's life as difficult as possible.
Check out the posters at the links below.

Sylvester Stallone isn’t just an actor, but a director and writer himself. Because of this, Stallone once had an unfavorable reputation behind-the-scenes of wanting to take control of the projects he starred in.
So when Stallone was cast in this obscure thriller, this filmmaker flat-out refused to collaborate with him. Until he was forced to.

The 2002 feature film D Tox, also titled Eye See You, might be one of the more obscure films in Stallone’s filmography. The movie was based on the novel Jitter Joint, and starred Stallone as a psychologically tortured federal agent hunting down serial killers.
Filmmaker Jim Gillespie would helm the project. He had a long list of big-named actors he wanted to work with on the thriller, but the Rocky star wasn’t one of them.

Australia’s Seven West Media and its Seven network may risk reputational damage following Federal Court revelations in Sydney on Thursday and Friday.
The defamation case was brought by former Liberal Party political aide Bruce Lehrmann against Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson. It does not directly involve Seven.
Lehrmann was tried in court in 2022 over the alleged rape of another political aide, Brittany Higgins, in Canberra in 2021. But the case and a retrial were abandoned with no findings against him.
Lehrmann’s defamation case alleges that Network 10 and Wilkinson have made false claims that he raped Higgins.

In late 2022, Seven, Australia’s most-watched TV network, aired an exclusive two-part interview with Lehrmann. But how its “Spotlight” investigative news program obtained that interview is now the subject of intense debate.

Sabin attacks Ali’s personal security before the opening bell. Sabin dives through the ropes, taking out Ali at the bottom of the ramp. Sabin bends the rules, pulling the hair of Ali. Moments later, Ali creates an opening to gain control off a rolling neckbreaker. Ali spikes him with a short Ddt for two. Sabin avoids the 450 Splash, allowing him to regain his composure. Sabin hits a tornado Ddt out of the corner. Both men are down after exchanging superkicks. Sabin catches Ali...

Welcome to this review of Tna’s Sacrifice 2024 – which has rather swiftly followed their last PPV, No Surrender (which was only Two(!) weeks ago). Talk about pay-per-view fatigue – though can we call this a PPV? Isn’t it rather a Tna+ special? Whatever, let’s check out what went down on this show!
Countdown To Sacrifice Match #1: Digital Media Championship – Crazzy Steve def. Joe Hendry The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Before the match begins, Joe Hendry pokes fun at the Digital Media Champion, calling him “baby Steve”, “lazy Steve” and”80s Steve”. Hendry is interrupted by his rival, Aj Francis, who joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary. Hendry hits Steve with a stalling suplex. Steve cranks Hendry’s neck on the top rope. Minutes later, Steve continues to target that area with a neckbreaker. Hendry turns the tide with a pop-up powerbomb. Steve distracts the...

Disney can’t seem to catch a break as filmmaker Sarah Polley exits from the upcoming Disney remake – Bambi. Sarah Polley, who is known for her thought-stirring work like Women Talking, has recently decided to step away from the upcoming live-action remake for creative reasons.
Sarah Polley is not the only one to walk off the sets of Bambi; screenwriter Lindsey Anderson Beer also reportedly left the project last year. Disney’s trouble with live-action remakes is not a new issue; the last release, The Little Mermaid, faced backlash from fans, and the upcoming Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remake generated negative reactions before release.

Disney has been trying desperately to bank on the success of existing projects, and the success of The Lion King and The Jungle Book has played a major role in greenlighting several live-action remakes.

Welcome to this week’s review of Tna Wrestling, the first episode after Tna’s No Surrender PPV! Let’s get into the review and see what went down…
Match #1: Steve Maclin def. Mike Bailey The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
After Steve Maclin cost Speedball Mountain their match against the Rascalz on Countdown to No Surrender, Mike Bailey is out for revenge tonight! The fight spills to the outside in the early as Bailey and Maclin exchange strikes. Maclin distracts the referee, allowing the Rascalz to deliver a chop block to Bailey. Bailey avoids Caught in the Crosshairs, then soars through the air to take down Maclin on the floor. Bailey goes for the double knees but Maclin counters into the Scud Missile dive. Miguel provides another distraction as Maclin capitalizes with Mayhem For All for two. Turnabout is fair play as Seven gets up on the apron,...

At the very end of the first season of "Star Trek: Picard," after the story had concluded and everyone was headed back home, the violent bounty hunter Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) and Admiral Picard's close friend Raffi (Michelle Hurd) sat idly conversing. They reached out and began romantically holding hands, implying that the characters were initiating a romance. Previously throughout "Star Trek," both Seven and Raffi had only been seen having romances with men, so their respective bisexuality came as a pleasant surprise.
Sadly, at the start of the second season of "Picard," enough time had passed that Seven and Raffi had already dated for a while ... and had broken up. There was now a great deal of romantic resentment between them, and they had to struggle to fulfill their mission in the 21st century (the second season featured a time travel plot). In the show's third and final season,...

The third season of "Star Trek: Picard," overseen by showrunner Terry Matalas, ended with an intriguing new setup. After the season's story had concluded, the action fast-forwarded one year to when Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers) had become a provisionary ensign in Starfleet. Jack, with his father (Patrick Stewart) and mother (Gates McFadden), took a good long gander at his new assignment, the Titan-a, newly rechristened the Enterprise-g. This new ship was to be captained by Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), formerly the first officer on board the Titan-a, and the vessel was poised to go on its first deep-space mission with its new name.
Also on board were Raffi (Michelle Hurd), Seven's ex-girlfriend and also her first officer, as well as former Titan crewmembers Lieutenant Matthew Arliss Mura (Joseph Lee), Ensign Kova Rin Esmar (Jin Maley), and presumably Dr. Ohk (Tiffany Shepis). In a post-credits stinger after the final "Picard" episode,...

Gruesomely violent scenes from television shows are one of the most satisfying things for many adults, because not only it is an indication that nobody is gonna be talking in poems in the show, but it also satisfied that part of our brain, which just wants to take a bat and go down on some piñata looking schmuck. So, today we have listed the 10 best outrageously violent TV shows that you can binge-watch right now and satisfy that part of your brain that just wants to see some gory imagery.

Even by Hollywood standards, 2023 was pretty nuts.
There were two historic strikes that shut down the town for months. Sure-fire, money-printing movie franchises started collapsing at the box office, while some surprising efforts succeeded. Wealthy CEOs kept taking careful aim and publicly shooting themselves in the foot. And at a time of endless division, everyone actually seemed to agree on something: That several powerful creative women made audiences feel rather wonderful.
Below is The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of some of the industry’s biggest success stories — and most embarrassing missteps.
Won — Taylor Swift
Arguably, Taylor Swift had one of the best years for a person working in the entertainment industry ever. She became a queen of all media with her blockbuster Eras concert tour (which would earn her a staggering $4.1 billion), released a concert movie that broke through the traditional studio distribution system (and grossed $250 million), she became...

Could Rick and Morty season 7 be any weirder? That’s the question I kept asking throughout the time I spent watching this crazy mess in episode 8. Rick and Morty season 7, episode 8, titled “Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie,” is a hilarious yet bizarre action parody involving some numbers fighting with each other. Even though episode 8 didn’t feature Rick in this adventure, the episode surprised us with some season 2 references. Season 2 episode titled “Get Schwifty” featured Ice-t, a rapper who became the main protagonist of this latest episode of Rick and Morty. Let’s see what happened to Ice-t and what made him come back to Earth again.
Spoilers Ahead
What’s going on in the numerical universe?
Episode 8 opened with Ice-t coming back to his planet, Alphabetrium, where he met his father, who was killed by some of the numbericons who invaded the planet. Ice-t had a very conflicted relationship with his father,...

The Boys will introduce a brand-new replacement for Black Noir in The Seven for Season 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
The Season 3 finale delivered one of the series' most shocking moments after Homelander killed his fellow Seven supe Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell).
The brutal murder took place after Homelander discovered Black Noir, the member of the Seven he trusted most, knew he had a father out there in Soldier Boy who he had never known about until Season 3.

Spotify has announced its most-streamed artist, song and album of the year, and Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Bad Bunny have reason to celebrate.

Thanks to Midnights and Taylor’s Version re-records of Speak Now and 1989, Swift is Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the year with 26.1 billion global streams. As an expression of her gratitude, Swift took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the anticipated release of “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)” — which is now available to stream.
Swift is followed by Bad Bunny, The Weeknd — who didn’t release a new album this year — Drake, Peso Pluma, Feid, Travis Scott, Sza, Karol G and Lana Del Rey.
While Morgan Wallen didn’t make the top global artists list, he came in third for most-streamed acts in the U.S. 21 Savage, Zach Bryan and Kanye West also made the Top 10.

This year marks Disney’s 100th anniversary as an animation studio, and they’ve decided to celebrate the occasion by taking several of their classic characters and throw them all together into the same film for one magical story. That, at least, is what Wish is supposed to be—if you squint hard enough. The film plays incredibly coy with its portrayal of its classical Disney archetypes and tropes, choosing to take recognizable characters and their trademark traits and transpose them onto ancillary characters with only seconds of screen time.
What Zack Snyder did to DC Comics is what Wish does to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and that’s extremely odd for a studio so surgically effective at fracking its own nostalgia to new audiences. That wouldn’t be such a knock against Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn’s film had it turned out to have a life and vibrancy all its own.

"The Boys" has come a long way over the years. In 2006, it debuted as a comic book series under the comic book imprint WildStorm. After it was abruptly canceled, the series was then picked up by Dynamite Entertainment, who continued to publish the comics until its conclusion in 2012. Although it's been over a decade since the main story ended, "The Boys" has continued to grow through spinoff comics and web series. In July 2019, the franchise got the live-action treatment through an Amazon Prime Video series. After four years, it's still going strong on the streaming platform with a fourth season on the way.
In fact, "The Boys" has been so successful that Prime Video expanded the universe with its first-ever spinoff series, "Gen V." The show, which premiered on Sept. 29 and concluded on Nov. 3, features a new set of wild Supe characters played by Jaz Sinclair, Lizzie Broadway, Chance Perdomo,...

Gen V's freshman season has been full of ups and downs, and sometimes, the story can be frustrating to follow along, let alone get invested in.
Some of the decisions that have been made regarding the characters and plot points have been genuinely disappointing and might amount to crimes against the show.
But one thing the show has not been is boring. It has been a nice ride with the numerous shocking scenes, wild action, and enticing ships. Gen V Season 1 Episode 8 completed this part of the ride by delivering a fantastic season finale.
With this show, one can never know what to expect. It can be a good thing, or it can sink the ship.
I stopped trying to figure out where the story was headed a long time ago, and maybe for the better, because Gen V Season 1 Episode 7 took a turn and had the narrative going in another direction.

As his chilly new Netflix thriller The Killer is released, Guardian writers look back on their top picks by the director
More than The Silence of the Lambs, Seven launched a mostly risible trend of late 90s serial killer thrillers that mimicked Fincher’s grimy neo-noir style and the invariably disgusting fetishes that spice up the villain’s dossier. Yet none of the film’s successors could hope to equal the meticulousness of his direction or the bruised humanity that makes its characters such affecting and ultimately tragic figures. That the rain-soaked urban setting has no name gives Seven a unique power, as if this city of unshakable despair and moral rot could be a stand-in for any other on its worst day. Though Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt sound like stock partners in a detective procedural – one a world-weary, seen-it-all veteran, the other a brush, impetuous newcomer – they develop...

In the world of Prime Video’s The Boys, superheroes – or supes as they’re not-so-affectionately called – are a part of normal, everyday life. But these supes aren’t naturally born, they’re created by Vought Industry’s Compound V serum. Even though Vought does their best to control who does and does not become a supe, they don’t have control over how abilities manifest in people who take Compound V.
This leads to a wide variety of powers among the supes on the show, including those in the prestigious superhero group known as The Seven. With so many superpowered characters appearing in both large and small roles throughout the series, it can be hard to keep track of what exactly everyone can do. Here is a handy guide breaking down the powers of The Seven,...

Disney’s unrivaled 1937 animation classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is coming to Disney+ in a 4K restoration, debuting Oct. 16 and completed to commemorate The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary.
“The opportunity to help restore Snow White was both an honor and a challenge,” said Disney Animation animator/director Eric Goldberg, adding that he and Disney Animation artist Mike Giaimo “felt we owed a debt to history to get it looking as beautiful and as accurate to the original colors as we could.”
The first Walt Disney animated feature, Snow White is widely considered one of Hollywood’s greatest early triumphs. After its original release, the film was recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences with a special honorary Oscar – one large Oscar statuette accompanied by seven smaller ones – which was presented to Walt Disney by Shirley Temple. This article contains spoilers for Gen V episode 4.
When episode 4 of The Boys spinoff Gen V isn’t indulging in breathtaking acts of penile violence, it’s introducing something else the flagship franchise is known for: a truly loathsome supe.
Though the term “supe” in The Boys‘ universe is short for “superhero,” everyone knows by now that there’s little heroic about Vought International’s roster of Compound V-enhanced individuals. “Heroes” on The Boys run the gamut from the mostly decent Annie January a.k.a. Starlight (Erin Moriarty) to the bumbling and corrupt The Deep (Chace Crawford) to the outright terrifying and evil Homelander (Antony Starr). And now Gen V has brought us true crime specialist Tek Knight (Derek Wilson), who is malevolent and gross in a way we haven’t witnessed yet.

This post contains spoilers for the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks."
When it comes to the "will-they-won't-they" romance, the "they won't" option is woefully underrated. For decades, TV fans have been trained to have an almost Pavlovian response to characters with good chemistry, expecting them to follow a pretty rigid narrative pathway towards endgame coupledom -- or, at least, a much-hyped hookup. The rom-com trope rulebook includes plenty of plot points designed to finally get the two fated characters together, from an "only one bed" situation to a love triangle to a fake dating scheme.
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" played around with the latter trope this week when besties Tendi (Noel Wells) and Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) were tasked with going undercover as a married tourist couple on Ferenginar. Instead of kicking their relationship into high gear, though, the challenge proved both uncomfortable and hilariously high-stakes. At episode's end,...

At the conclusion of the third season of "Star Trek: Picard," after the villains had been defeated, showrunner Terry Matalas had properly and carefully set up another "Star Trek" spinoff series, should Paramount+ have wanted it. Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) had received a posthumous recommendation for a captaincy from her late commanding officer Liam Shaw (Todd Stashwick) and was put in command of the U.S.S. Titan-a, now newly rechristened the U.S.S. Enterprise-g. One can perhaps assume that the rechristening was a special favor for the aging Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) now over 100 and happy to have a legacy.
Also serving on the Enterprise-g were a raft of characters seen throughout "Picard," most notably Seven's ex-girlfriend Raffi (Michelle Hurd), who would serve as her first officer. Picard's adult son Jack (Ed Speleers) was hastened through Starfleet Academy and was already serving as an ensign. Also...

The influx of superhero-oriented content in pop culture media, especially some of the mediocre ones, has definitely contributed to the ever-increasing popularity of Amazon Prime’s edgy, satirical take on superhero media, The Boys. While poking fun at other franchises by making tongue-in-cheek references, individual performances from the likes of Antony Starr, Karl Urban, and Jack Quaid, hilarious self-awareness, and abundant use of sensationalism with sex and gore might have worked wonders for the series’ reception, to make the franchise overstay its welcome, franchise biz was always needed. Perhaps it was the reason why the makers decided to release a gorier animated series called The Boys Presents: Diabolical last year. And for 2023, they have expanded the canvas further and come up with a live-action spin-off called Gen V. It’s kind of ironic how gradually the franchise is becoming the very thing it used to satirize.

Even if the Gen V series premiere was fast-paced, with a lot happening, the decision to introduce the season-long conflict did not turn out to be a bad one.
Gen V Season 1 Episode 2 built on the events of the series premiere and, for that reason, cemented the narrative as something worth following, even for people who weren't the biggest fans of the show based on the series premiere.
We dealt with the aftermath of Luke's suicide, as the show tried to convey what would happen when someone as important as Golden Boy leaves the picture abruptly, leaving a vast vacuum and the people who would rise to occupy that.
None of the characters on the show deserve what they have, whether good or bad.
All the powers they gained by sheer luck, but one can't deny that they've paid the price for having them, and some continue to pay that price to this day.

For lovers of the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V is a good addition to it.
From incredibly awful characters to blood, superpowers, and the phallus, the show is a good representation of the absolute chaos of the universe.
Gen V Season 1 Episode 1 introduced a new generation of supes -- a very aware generation.
The most significant distinction drawn between these supes and ones from The Boys was that the new generation was aware of their powers' origin, and that made all the difference.
However, before that news got out, most people were unaware of what was happening, and the cold open introduced one such person.
Supes had taken over the world, and seeing the first Black man to join The Seven was a glimmer of hope for Marie's parents.
TV Anchor: Ladies and gents, supes and civvies, rip up the history books because in New York this morning,...

There is a preconceived notion that comics writer Garth Ennis dislikes superhero culture with a passion, which is at times quite evident from all the brutally sarcastic jabs he delivered to the genre through some of his seminal works like Hitman. But his most scathing commentary took the form of a bitter deconstruction of the established superhero status quo, The Boys, which has been famously adapted into a TV series by Amazon Prime. Far removed from the idealistic world where superheroes exist to serve justice with honor, the superheroes in The Boys abuse power to their hearts’ fill—an aspect that has clicked with the audience so much that the series has spawned three seasons already, as has the spin-off series Gen V, which has been released recently.

In a recent New Yorker interview, experimental electronic musician Daniel Lopatin noted that he finds most of the hand-wringing over A.I., specifically in the context of creating music, to be overblown. What’s more interesting, he added, is seeing how A.I. “creates these insinuated arrangements that don’t sound anything like any music I’ve ever heard.”
This tension between the organic and the synthetic—or, more specifically, between what sounds “natural” and what’s trying its hardest to be perceived as such—defines Again, Lopatin’s 10th album as Oneohtrix Point Never. It’s an album that, like much of Lopatin’s work, sounds as if every single MP3 file on a hard drive was corrupted beyond the point of recognition. But there’s still a wealth of grace and unearthly beauty to be found in these glitched-out compositions.
There’s an abundance of allusions to Lopatin’s past releases throughout Again,...

Plot: Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheroes start out corrupt. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when super powers are involved. When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they’re put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories?
Review: The first season of The Boys was a shocking mix of superhero storytelling with a dark streak of humor that we had never seen before.
