Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, was criticized for posting a statement about his family’s “sacrifice” on social media.
In a post on X on May 24, Eric replied to another post made on the same day by the pro-maga X account.
The post included an image of himself, his wife, Lara Trump, his father, former first lady Melania Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle standing together.
“The family that gave up everything to Save America,” the caption in Freedom’s post read. “Thank You!”
“And we will do it again,” the former president’s son wrote in response to the post.
During Memorial Day weekend, X users slammed Eric for the out-of-touch statement.
“Particularly disgusting to post this on Memorial Day weekend,” neoconservative writer Bill Kristol wrote in a post.

Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, has been slammed on social media for declaring that presidential debates have always been “rigged” in President Joe Biden’s favor.
Early on May 15, Biden and Trump agreed to participate in a presidential debate on CNN on June 27 and a second debate on ABC on September 10.
Lara said during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that “the scales have always been tipped against Donald Trump.”
Hannity condemned the forthcoming debates. Trump had said that he was willing to debate Biden under any conditions. The host demanded “no notes” and “no teleprompters.”
Despite this, Lara hinted that Trump is ready to take on his opponent.
“And this year more than ever, with all the lawfare, with all we’ve seen against him — in some crazy way, Sean, they’ve actually prepared him for this moment because he’s not afraid...

Donald Trump’s reaction to last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner shows the much-indicted ex-potus still sucks at being the butt of a joke.
Hours after President Joe Biden and Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost unleashed an arsenal of zingers against Trump from the head table of the 2024 Whcd, the presumptive GOP nominee took to his Truth Social to hit back.
Sure, Trump bucked the consensus and declared the Weekend Update co-host “bombed” and the current occupant of the Oval Office “was an absolute disaster.” But Trump’s 1:05 a.m. Et posting was much more succinct than usual and a whole lamer than past rebuttals, and received a sad number of likes – as you can see below:

The chants and shouts of pro-Palestinian demonstrators disrupted the entry to the Washington Hilton for this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, but once inside, attendees were greeted with what has become the usual scene: Celebrities on the red carpet, a crush for the security line and glitterati packed into a cavernous ballroom.
“I want to thank my wife for enduring lots of jokes and for agreeing to individually meet everyone in this room right after the ceremony,” the evening’s featured entertainer, Colin Jost, quipped about Scarlett Johansson, who posed for photos with a non-stop stream of attendees. She continued to do so later in the evening, at the Comcast-nbcu after party at the French ambassador’s residence.

Former President Donald Trump’s new joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee (RNC) allows donations to the party to be funneled to his campaign and Pac to cover his legal expenses.
Under the arrangement, Republican donors will see a portion of their money go toward helping Trump pay off his staggering legal bills before they are used for the national and state parties during the election season.
The details of the joint fundraising agreement were mentioned in the fine print of an April 6 fundraiser invite.
This invitation mentions that donations to the joint fundraising committee, the Trump 47 Committee, will initially be used to give the maximum amount allowed under Federal Election Commission (Fec) guidelines to the Trump campaign.
The remaining money will go toward the maximum donation to the Save America Pac, and any money left will be granted to the RNC and state political parties.

Eric Trump said he “guarantees” his father, Donald Trump, will win the 2024 election over President Joe Biden, he told Fox & Friends this week.
Eric cited the criticism of the Biden Administration from “upset” Americans. He also mentioned the gag order against Trump and his sons that would prohibit him from discussing his legal battles.
Recently, several conservatives have expressed disappointment in Trump’s new abortion policy. Eric claimed they would still vote for him, claiming there is “only one option” in the election.
“I know we’re going to win. I know we’re going to win because I know where this country is,” Eric stated. “I can feel the sentiment of this country. And people are not buying what’s happening right now. The mainstream media, they’ll keep on peddling their nonsense.”

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is using robotic calls to spread inaccurate information about the 2020 election with scripted calls to voters’ phones on behalf of the new co-chair, Lara Trump, Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law.
Despite calls from prominent Republicans to focus on the future and win in 2024, the RNC, under Lara’s leadership, continues to propagate baseless claims about massive fraud in the last election.
As a commentator and surrogate for the former president, Lara has consistently supported Trump’s unfounded allegations. The recent call obtained by CNN, estimated to have reached approximately 145,000 recipients between April 1 and 7, echoed Lara’s previous statements.
The scripted call alleged various forms of election fraud, such as the absence of photo IDs, unsecured ballot drop boxes, mass mailing of ballots and voter rolls that contained deceased individuals and non-citizens. It even suggested that Democrats aim to cancel out legitimate votes with those cast by non-citizens.

Former President Donald Trump has ridiculed the former Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Ronna McDaniel on Truth Social twice after she was terminated by NBC News.

Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), has recently unveiled a new song that has been met with scathing criticism – even from many of her own social media followers.
Last year, Lara showcased her musical aspirations with a widely mocked cover of Tom Petty‘s iconic hit, “I Won’t Back Down.” Her latest track, titled “Anything is Possible,” now faces similar derision from internet critics.
The song itself is intended as an inspirational ballad and features lyrics such as “Don’t think, just jump / You can’t give up / Know that anything is possible.”
Numerous X users among Lara’s have not held back in their scrutiny. “‘Anything’ isn’t possible,” quipped one user. “Even auto-tune couldn’t salvage your karaoke-like voice. Just leave us alone and walk away. You have the means to travel anywhere on a private plane with your wealth.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is currently in the process of hiring new staff and reports have emerged regarding a specific question asked during interviews: “Was the 2020 election stolen?”
Applicants who had interviews with the RNC revealed that former President Donald Trump‘s loyalist, new RNC Chairman Michael Whatley and co-chair Lara Trump, have inquired about the viewpoints of potential employees who had worked in crucial states in the 2020 election. These inquiries were made regarding their perspective on the outcome of the last presidential election.
When Whatley started at the RNC earlier this month, he initiated a purge of employees, which was described as a “bloodbath,” leaving many jobs vacant.
In one interview, a prospective employee recounted being asked the question, “Was the 2020 election stolen?” while in the presence of two top Trump advisers.

The calls are coming from inside the newsroom.

Last week, allies of former President Donald Trump officially took over the Republican National Committee (RNC).
Short thereafter, a resolution to ban Trump’s spiraling legal bills was abandoned as a lost cause.
Mississippi’s national committeeman Henry Barbour, son of former RNC Chairman Haley Barbour, confirmed that the resolution that he had drafted is “dead.”
Barbour said he only received co-sponsors from eight out of the ten necessary states to bring the resolution to a vote.
In February, Trump officially endorsed GOP North Carolina Chair Michael Whatley as his preferred successor to lead the committee.
The former president also endorsed Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, for the position of RNC co-chair. This sparked accusations of nepotism from critics inside and outside of the group.
His chief primary opponent, Nikki Haley, commented on this move, saying there are no “kings in this country.”

Milwaukee bar owner Ricky Ramirez usually begins posts on The Mothership’s Instagram account with a lighthearted insult towards his patrons. “Sup bozos,” “sup idiots,” “sup dorkus malorkus,” and “hello freaks,” are all frequent openers to photo captions announcing service updates, schedule disruptions, and special events. Combining craft cocktails, a dive bar feel, and a marquee sign with rotating quips such as “Today Only Drugs In Bathroom Ok” and “We Will Refuse Service If You Didn’T Wash Your Ass,” the Mothership sounds like a good time.

Donald Trump’s takeover of the Republican National Committee is going about as expected. In the week since Michael Whatley, an election denier, and Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, were elected as chair and co-chair, the RNC has slashed 60 staffers while hiring Christina Bobb, a former Trump lawyer who literally wrote a book about the false idea that the 2020 election was rigged, as its new election integrity counsel.
There’s plenty more where that came from, apparently. Lara Trump said in an interview on Thursday that she wants to hire Scott Presler,...

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has initiated a brutal round of staff layoffs shortly after a team handpicked by Donald Trump assumed control of the organization. The cuts extend across various departments and include mid-level employees, as well as vendors. Insiders are calling it a “bloodbath.”
While it is common for national committees to experience staff turnover after a presidential nominee is chosen, the scale of these layoffs is unusually extensive and highlights the former president’s desire for absolute control over the party.
The layoffs have affected top officials in communications, the political department and the data team.
Last week, Michael Whatley, chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, was elected as the RNC’s new chairperson and succeeded Ronna McDaniel. McDaniel stepped down at Trump’s request after lackluster fundraising.

Trump is reshaping the Republican National Committee to the point that its leadership were not only on his payroll, but peddled lies about the 2020 election being stolen.

After cries of nepotism from critics, Lara Trump was elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) on Friday morning.
Michael Whatley, the head of the North Carolina Republican Party, won the position of chair after receiving the backing of former president Donald Trump.
The former chair of the RNC Ronna McDaniel stepped down at the suggestion of Trump after seven years in service after poor fundraising results were announced last month.
The only candidate for co-chair was Lara Trump, who was elected unanimously to the position.
Lara, the daughter-in-law of the former president who is married to his son, Eric Trump, was dogged by charges of nepotism from the moment her name was floated for the position.

Nikki Haley indicated she no longer feels bound by the Republican National Committee pledge she made to endorse the eventual GOP nominee. Haley is the only remaining high-profile Republican candidate challenging former president Donald Trump for the party’s presidential nomination.

Ronna McDaniel announced her resignation as the chair of the Republican National Committee, as President Donald Trump looks to place a team of loyalists as the leaders of the party.
“The RNC has historically undergone change once we have a nominee and it has always been my intention to honor that tradition,” McDaniel said in a statement this morning.
She said that she will leave her post at the March 8 meeting of the RNC.
Her exit is not a surprise. Trump has backed Michael Whatley, the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, for the post, with his daughter in law Lara Trump as co-chair. Trump also wants his senior adviser, Chris Lacivita, to serve as the RNC’s COO.
McDaniel has been chair since 2017. She noted, among other things, that the party retook control of the House during her tenure, in the 2022 cycle. But the party also underperformed expectations,...

Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, said she believes GOP donors would support the Republican National Committee paying the former president’s legal fees.
Lara was endorsed by her father-in-law to be the Republican National Committee’s co-chair. During a South Carolina campaign, Lara said GOP voters may want to see the RNC pay for Trump’s legal fee if they view his cases as political persecution.
“That’s why people are furious right now. And they see the attacks against [Donald Trump]. They feel like it’s an attack not just on Donald Trump but on this country.”
The former president faces millions of dollars in legal fees along with the judgments’ costs. Trump was recently ordered to pay a whopping $355 million in damages for his civil fraud case.
Lara stated she was unsure of how the RNC would handle the payments, but that his supporters would want to have the costs covered.

In a 2024 Presidential Greatness Project Expert Survey, President Joe Biden was ranked the 14th best president while former president Donald Trump was last.
The ranking came from 154 historians and presidential experts. The survey was conducted from November 2023 to December 2023. Biden was in the top third along with Woodrow Wilson and Ronald Reagan. Trump was ranked at 45. Former President Barack Obama was ranked at seven.
The presidents’ successes and failures were taken into account when given ranks. Presidents were also given a rating from 0 to 100, 100 being the highest rating possible. Half of the presidents were given ratings of 50 or below. Trump was given a 10.92.

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, the last remaining Republican presidential candidate running against former President Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, warned that Trump could use the Republican National Committee (RNC) as a “piggy bank” to pay for his mounting legal fees.
“My biggest issue is, I don’t want the RNC to become his legal defense fund,” she told CNN.
Haley’s comments came just hours after New York Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay $355 million in fines for defrauding banks and insurance companies by overstating his net worth.
New York Attorney General Leticia James brought this case and alleged that Trump had falsified financial documents to obtain loans.
A few weeks before, a jury ordered Trump to pay advice columnist E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million for defaming her after he had sexually abused her.

Donald Trump has officially endorsed GOP North Carolina Chair Michael Whatley as his preferred successor to lead the Republican National Committee (RNC). Additionally, Trump threw his support behind Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, for the position of RNC co-chair.
These endorsements mark a decisive move by Trump to bring about a change in the committee’s leadership and follow weeks of reports that have suggested his mounting dissatisfaction with RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
Lara, a vocal surrogate for the ex-president, was briefly considered as a potential candidate for the North Carolina Senate in the 2022 campaign.
Lara’s nomination provoked howls of nepotism from critics inside and outside the party. The former president’s only remaining opponent for the GOP presidential nomination, Nikki Haley, said of the move, “We don’t have kings in this country.”
While Trump’s endorsement does not guarantee automatic election, the move will undoubtedly inspire support from his followers.

Melania Trump has not returned to the campaign trail despite promises from her husband, former President Donald Trump, that she will be back soon.
Trump recently won the primary in New Hampshire, defeating his rival Nikki Haley. The former president is leading in the polls and his position as the Republican nominee is nearly certain. The ballot for 2024 is likely to be the same as the 2020 election, with Joe Biden and Trump as the Democratic and Republican nominees.
If Trump were to win in the upcoming election, this would mean his wife, Melania, would be the First Lady yet again.
A source told CNN, “Being the first lady again is not what she wants. For her, it was a chapter and it’s over.”
Since the announcement of his campaign, Melania has not been present at any campaign events and after her mother’s funeral on January 9, the couple was seen leaving in separate cars.

But throughout the evening there still were reminders of the darker aspects of where politics has gone in recent years: Sacha Baron Cohen’s tribute to U2 was actually a satire on the extent to which anti-semitism has reemerged in discourse and threat, while the appearance of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was greeted with a standing ovation for his recovery. He survived a brutal attack by an intruder at their San Francisco home, in what police say was the suspect’s attempt to harm his wife.

Ivanka Trump has confirmed that she will not be campaigning for her father Donald Trump after he announced that he would be running for President for a third time in 2024.
Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner were both senior advisers to the Trump Administration during his prior presidency, but have mostly been trying to keep a low profile in a Miami suburb since that period.
Donald announced his candidacy on Tuesday night at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. Despite being in the same state and even recently going there for her sister Tiffany Trump’s wedding, Ivanka skipped out on the announcement as well.
Curiously, Kushner was present at the announcement, so he may be trying to worm his way back to a place in the campaign.

Ivanka Trump was called out on social media after she cropped Kimberly Guilfoyle out of a picture from her sister Tiffany’s wedding this weekend.
The photo she shared on Twitter and Instagram shows the maid of honor Ivanka and the bride posing with Melania Trump, Lara Trump and Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples. She tweeted the photo wishing Tiffany “an abundance of happiness and joy” in their new marriage.

Another version of the photo circulated on social media showing that Don Jr.’s fiancee, Guilfoyle, had been cropped out of Ivanka’s post. Guilfoyle appears at the end, wearing black, contrasted against the other women who donned pastels, save for Lara in silver and the bride in white.
One of the funniest things I have seen in a long time… @IvankaTrump cropped @kimguilfoyle out of her Instagram post from Tiffany Trump’s wedding.
