- Julia Rose Gruenberg is an American actress, comedian, and musician, best known for her role as Crystal Baskets in the television series Baskets (2016) starring Zach Galifniakis. Julia has been featured across television programs such as 8 News Now, America's Got Talent, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Working alongside renowned comedians; Rich Little, Louie Anderson, and Howie Mandel.
Julia began street performing at the age of ten where she was discovered by the President of Virgin Records after a news story was published titled "The Next Big Star." Shortly after, she was signed to the third largest talent agency and went on to lead in multiple critically acclaimed projects.
Julia's career in entertainment began at the age of three when her father Robert Gruenberg, also known as "The Chainsaw Juggler of Venice Beach" from The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (1989), moved the family to Kansas. Following the move, Julia's talent for music and comedy was recognized and she was offered an invitation to study classical music performance at Kansas University.
