Jade is a UK-born multi-disciplinary filmmaker and professional actress with a deep passion for storytelling. She holds an MA in Screenwriting and a BA (Hons) in Film, where her final major project was nominated for Best Film and Best Edit at her graduate showcase. Set in Edinburgh, she served as both editor and art director, showcasing her talents behind the scenes.
Over the years, she has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, refining her skills in screenwriting, directing, and editing. Her interests span various genres, including drama/thriller, mystery drama, and social realism.
Her work has gained recognition at numerous film festivals, including the Porto Femme International Film Festival in Portugal, the Berlin Flash Film Festival where her film 'Tunnel' won the 'Best Film' category, the Liftoff Global Network Sessions at Pinewood Studios, and the 225 Film Club, which promotes female excellence in direction, showcased at the BFI in London.
As both a filmmaker and actress, Jade constantly seeks new challenges and opportunities to tell captivating stories that resonate deeply with audiences. Her goal is to create compelling narratives that entertain, provoke thought, inspire, educate and unite people from all walks of life.
