- Tami "REDStar" Arrendell, was born in Germany and was raised in the Netherlands. She moved to the United States at age 14 and immediately started performing and hosting at venues in New York City upon graduating from Bloomfield High School in 2003.
She graduated from the legendary Barbizon school in 2004 for singing, acting, modeling and dance and is represented by The Barbizon Agency for Modeling and Acting.
After founding the "Queens of Dance" a performance/dance team at Rutgers University which she attended with a major in Criminal Justice, she auditioned among thousands to continue pursuing her education in dance at the legendary Broadway Dance Center in NYC and was one of the few accepted into their prestigious intern affiliate program in 2006.
REDStar has been featured in the major motion dance movie Step Up 3D! and made an appearance on Netflix exclusive hit show "Orange is the New Black". In 2013 REDStar landed two soundtrack placements on the "Bunnies On Deck" film Soundtrack as a member of Retro Glam and founded her own company "The REDStar Line" which primarily includes one of a kind hand made jewelry.
As a solo performer she has collaborated with 2009 recipient of the Bohemian Award for Hip Hop group of the year 'At All Cost' and their single "The Rain" was released in 2010. She has a single released called "How Did I Know", a duet with 2x Grammy nominated rapper 'Skee-Lo' best known for his mega 90's hit "I wish".
In 2015 REDStar was featured in her first commercial for "Pure Grown Diamonds" as one of the leading actors and also worked as a hand model for the company. After a break from the music industry, Tamisha founded her own music networking company called "Vibe Talk Music" which includes promoting independent artists and providing them with exposure, music education and opportunities to perform live. After receiving music consulting from Evan Price, CEO and founder of "Artist Collective" she went on to collaborate with them and "VTM" is slated to turn into a Podcast in July 2019. ". She has since relocated to Chicago from Brooklyn to further pursue her solo career as "VibeQueen" as well as grow her company and help spread the knowledge about the music industry through Artist Collective's online course scheduled to be released Summer 2019.
Her debut single as "VibeQueen" was released on April 20th 2019 with production by Yung Keaz and her album is scheduled to be released fall 2019.
