Sariye Kozan

Born in Turkey, grow up in Paris, Sariye also lived in New York City.
Growing up surrounded by the magnificence of Parisienne architecture, its arts and cultural mix, Sariye studied hairdressing and began a career for the theatre at the Opera Bastille.
Sariye's desire to expand her knowledge to the beauty of the face led her to study at a Parisian make-up school. Sariye then enrolled on an art course at the New York City Art Student League where she learned to sculpt the face in clay, and simultaneously develop her English language skills.
During this period, Sariye's passion for beauty and fashion was confirmed. Her career progressed rapidly.
Her painters eye for color and texture, brought her into contact with fashion photography.
She has collaborated with Masha Calloway and Nina Shultz on the exhibition 'Forty Years of Creation of Yves Saint-Laurent' in New York City, and with Christian Moser on 'Plastic One' in Paris and in Tokyo, for Shue-Uemura Cosmetics.
Sariyes creative work has been published in magazines such as Vogue USA, Vogue Gioiello, ID, Style & the Family Tunes, Upstreet, Surface, Detour, Vanidad, Marie-Claire, Big Magazine, Raygun, L'Officiel, Grazia, Têtu and TGV Magazine.
Sariye has contributed to a variety of advertising campaigns such as Lancaster, Dom Perignon, Galeries Lafayette, Pantone, Kodak, TGV, and SFR.
Sariye has collaborated with a wide array of talented photographers including: David Lachapelle, Tobias Zarius, Isabelle Bonjean,
Mary Rozzi, Karina Taira and Andrea Giacobbe, Albert Watson, Jordan Doner, Félix Lahrer, Patrick Swirc, Jerôme Bonnet, Léa Crespi, Stephane Lavoué and Nicolas Receveur.
For runway shows, she has collaborated with: Christian Dior, John Galliano, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Versace, Diçe Kayek, Thierry Mugler, Alexandre ET Matthieu, Kenzo, Sonia Rykiel, and Prada.
Sariye has also contributed to the music videos of Michel Gondry (Sine'ad Connor, Massive Attack, Portishead, The Black Crowes, Lucas) . The films of Jean Paul Rappeneau (Le Hussard sur le Toit), and Mary Haron (I shot Andy Wharhol) Microbe and Gasoil de Michel Gondry.
Among the celebrities Sariye has worked with are: Kristine Scott-Thomas, Kim Basinger, Reese Whiterspoon, Vincent Gallo, Juliette Binoche, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Joaquin Phoenix, Alain Chabat, Anne Consigny, Jean Rochefort, Omar ET Fred, Vincent Lindon, Marianne Faithfull, and Lili Taylor.
Her work brought her all over the world (Jamaïca, Miami, South-Africa, etc). Sariye currently lives in Paris.
