Ghost thinks Tommy is dead for much of this week’s Power and — Ok, I’ll give it to him — he seems mildly broken up by the fact that he’s lost both the woman he loves and his lifelong best friend just days apart. After all, with a character as guarded as James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a few sniffles and a mournful look is tantamount to a sobbing soliloquy, right?
But by the end of the hour, Ghost is more than aware that Egan lives, and that fact makes more than one kind of trouble for the nightclub owner.

It's Ghost against the world.
After years and years of lies, it appears that Ghost has lost virtually every single person he once had in his corner by death or their own volition. The man that was once on top of the world has been gone for a long while, but the Ghost of now is as lost as ever.
Power Season 6 Episode 1 sets the stage for a final season that appears to be less about redemption, and more about revenge.
From the onset of the series, Ghost and Tommy were portrayed as the kind of friends that would truly never turn on one another. Childhood buddies whose bond went far beyond friendship.
But that relationship has been chipped and fractured over the years, and it was officially blown up after the events of Power Season 5 Episode 10.
When Tommy pulled the trigger fully intending to kill Ghost there was no coming back.

Californication alum Evan Handler is set as a new series regular on season 6 of Power, and Mike Dopud and Monique Gabriela Curnen, who recurred in seasons 4 and 5, have been promoted to regulars for the upcoming season of Starz’s hit drama series.
Handler will play Jacob Warner, the new U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District, there to clean up one too many messes and not built to play nice. Formidable and powerful, he will use the position and authority to challenge those around him to get answers.
Dopud plays Jason Micic, a brutal and ruthless Serbian crime boss, and Tommy’s connect, with sights on expanding his network to both coasts at any cost.
Curnen plays Blanca Rodriguez, the incorruptible NYPD Internal Affairs investigator that zeroed in on Angela Valdes while conducting the investigation of the disappearance and probable murder of Detective Raymond Jones, Raina’s killer and a suspected dirty cop.
