To say Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was a disappointment would be an understatement. Many believe that Rocksteady Studios, the minds behind the highly regarded Arkham series, seriously dropped the ball when working on the all-villains-led new title.
When the game was first revealed, people were understandably excited; not many studios had worked with the cantankerous crew before, and the studio had good standing in the community. However, the game was pretty much panned from launch, and recent sales numbers show it’s not going to be able to bounce back.

Throughout the years, DC’s Justice League has remained a focal point of discussions and debates. From its inception to the present day, the film has consistently drawn attention, largely due to the tumultuous events that unfolded behind the scenes during its production.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was criticized by long-term DC fans and fans of Rocksteady’s previous attempt at creating the Arkhamverse. Before the game was released and its marketing began, fans disliked its central idea and live service element.
There have been several leaks regarding the game’s plot, character designs, and upcoming content from various leakers on social media. As expected, the latest one surfaced recently, and fans are not amused. If anything, they expect the game to ruin one of the best DC supervillains.

Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger might look like an odd couple – which is exactly why Twins worked as an outlandish concept – but they’ve been pals for decades. Although their onscreen collaborations are few, they do have another project in the pipeline. Unfortunately, it doesn’t involve taking down Michael Keaton’s Batman…
Speaking with Deadline, DeVito said of his pal and a future project, “Arnold and I love working together. We’re doing a movie together next year. We’ve been working on it…Since Twins and Junior, and all the stuff we’ve done together, we’ve become friends.”
What exactly this project between Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger is remains a mystery at this point but we do know it will be set up at Warners Bros. This would further indicate it’s undoubtedly not the do-we-really-want-this? sequel to Twins (a Universal movie), which Arnold himself has...

For those who might be expecting this new addition to be Victor Fries, the infamous Batman villain, there might be some disappointment. Rumors suggest that the new character is actually Victoria Fries, an alternate universe version of the well-known DC villain.

Warner Bros. Animation has produced multiple animated shows with their most popular character Batman as the protagonist. Bruce Timm’s Batman: The Animated Series was one of the defining shows based on the character that has a long-lasting legacy. The show starred Kevin Conroy as the Caped Crusader and was the beginning of the Dcau.
From 2004 to 2008, The Batman animated series aired as another show centered around Bruce Wayne’s exploits as Batman. The show was not part of th Timmverse and had to distinguish itself from the legendary shows of the Dcau. One way in which the producers of the show made it happen was by making Wayne’s diet include snacks and other relatable food that anyone would eat while in a hurry.

There are some actors who command the screen with their electric presence. Christoph Waltz is one of them. If the chilling Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds still gives viewers sleepless nights, the credit goes to Waltz for his stunning performance that deservedly won him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
Christoph Waltz In Django Unchained
Following roles in Django Unchained, Water For Elephants and other marquee projects, the Austrian-German celebrity cemented his place as one of the most versatile and charismatic character actors in the industry. Expectedly, Waltz had some inspiring role models including the great Marlon Brando. But the actor also realized that even a veteran like Brando isn’t timeless after all.
Why Marlon Brando Didn’t Stand The Test Of Time For Christoph Waltz
Any actor big or small, has always been inspired by someone who has been a role model for them to dream big and achieve stardom in the industry.

We all know that The Penguin and Mr. Freeze appeared together at this year’s Oscars ceremony and that they faced their former nemesis, Batman, who challenged them to come at him. A confrontation was avoided, and this funny performance became one of the night’s best moments. However, it seems that some of those involved want more! Danny DeVito, who played Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. The Penguin, in Tim Burton’s 1992 Batman Returns, recently said that he would like to go back to his role and tackle Batman once again, but this time alongside Mr. Freeze, who was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, DeVito’s Oscars co-presenter.
Schwarzenegger appeared as Mr. Freeze in Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin, where he fought against Batman alongside Poison Ivy and Bane. The irony of this situation is that while DeVito really did fight Michael Keaton’s Batman in Burton’s movie,...

Popular leaker Miller Ross has once again posted a series of leaks on X, and this time they’re all related to WB Games’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The highly anticipated title didn’t get the intended reception, as it dished out a bland storyline. The idea to make it yet another live-service title was considered a shot in the foot by Rocksteady as the looter-shooter failed to impress fans.
Season 1 introduced an Elseworlds version of the Joker to save the game which worked to an extent. Those hoping for better content and characters in the upcoming seasons can now get a decent idea about what to expect from the next four seasons, thanks to a popular leaker.

The first "Joker" film wasn't just a box office smash, it was also the first R-rated movie ever to gross over $1 billion. It became the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, beating out "Deadpool." Most Batman-adjacent films have been rated PG-13 (with the exception of the R-rated cuts of some Zack Snyder films), but director Todd Phillips gave audiences something dArK and tWiStEd — a hard-r-rated movie full of graphic violence and lots of scenes of Joaquin Phoenix smoking some cigs. With all that in mind, it was probably a safe assumption that "Joker 2," aka "Joker: Folie à Deux," would land itself an R-rating. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, as the saying goes.
Sure enough, the "Joker" sequel now has itself a rating — and it's an R. But it's the reasoning behind the R-rating that might cause some people to do a double take. According to Deadline,...

Bruce Timm’s Batman Beyond is one of the most timeless animated series that showcases a strong storyline, which has broken all the typical Batman myths with its unique animation style. The series is set in a futuristic Gotham City, showcasing Terry McGinnis under the mantle, under the guidance of an old Bruce Wayne.
Terry McGinnis as Batman in Batman Beyond
The series had taken a bold departure from a traditional narrative, allowing room for exploration of new themes and characters that will retain the character’s popularity. However, the show was a result of an impossible demand that could not be met by Bruce Timm and his team members. None of them wanted to work on a new show, as they were already busy with other important DC projects. Hence, they came up with a great solution, creating one of the greatest Batman shows.

You wanna get nuts? Let’s get nuts! Michael Keaton is revealing a little bit more about his quasi-return as Batman at the 96th Academy Awards, saying he could kick some Gotham butt if he’s forced to. He can also still rock an ascot, which he said he wore to “Bruce Wayne it up a little bit”, something many fans were keen to notice.
While we will never actually see Michael Keaton’s Batman square off against Danny DeVito’s Penguin again or Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze even once (that job went to George Clooney), he does think he would come out on top. “Danny is the one I’d worry about ’cause he’s sneaky. Touring the riot scene, gravely assessing the devastation, patiently awaiting to play Oswald Cobblepot again. That’s the word from Danny DeVito, who says that if he can get Tim Burton on board, he would absolutely play The Penguin once more.

Indeed, as intrigued as I am to watch Gaga's Harley Quinn sing and dance her way through a toxic romance with Joaquin Phoenix's Clown Prince of Crime in Todd Phillips' "Joker: Folie à Deux" (a sentence I couldn't have imagined writing after watching Phillips' original Scorsesean DC drama for the first time back in 2019), it's Vera Drew's trans-coming-of-age DC Comics superhero parody that has my current attention.
Drew, similar to her fellow trans comedienne Harper Steele (the subject of Will Ferrell's acclaimed upcoming Netflix documentary "Will & Harper"), has quietly worked on some of the more memorable and daring comedic offerings of the past decade. In addition to editing Scott Aukerman...

Following his brief appearance as an unnamed Arkham Prisoner in Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman, there have been many discussions surrounding Barry Keoghan’s return as The Joker in the film’s sequel. Although the studio has yet to provide official confirmation, Keoghan’s own comments in recent interviews strongly hint at his involvement in the DC superhero universe once again.

However, fans are not too enthusiastic about the prospect of another portrayal of the iconic DC villain and expressed disappointment at the idea of Keoghan possibly reprising his role in The Batman: Part II.

Casting superhero characters is important, but at the same time, it's not important. During the '80s and '90s, audiences felt a certain thrill knowing that certain outsize movie stars would be playing Batman villains. Indeed, Jack Nicholson received top billing on Tim Burton's "Batman," and audiences were more keen to see an actor of such stature hamming it up as a murderous gangster clown. The same could be said of Danny DeVito as the Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, Jim Carrey as the Riddler, or Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze. Casting, in those cases, was more important than the character.
In the era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, that changed. The characters became more important than the casting. Audiences were drawn to MCU movies because they wanted to see Captain America, not because they were dying to see Chris Evans' interpretation of Captain America. Any number...

Freeze gave us Lovecraftian horrors in the Arctic, now for a followup writer/director Charlie Steeds takes us to the Antarctic to face even more of them in the deep sea thriller Gods of the Deep.
Jim Peters is a professor of astrobiology at Miskatonic University’s London campus. He’s carrying on the work of his father, who vanished under mysterious circumstances while working for The Pickman Corporation. They help fund his research, but that doesn’t mean he trusts them. But when they want him to join an expedition to explore a strange structure discovered in an oceanic trench off Antarctica, he can’t refuse.
The film skips over the two months of training they need without so much as a Rocky-style montage, so the next thing you know...

[This interview contains major spoilers for Merry Little Batman.]
DC Studios’ Merry Little Batman sees Bruce Wayne in an unusual turn: donning his dad hat during the holidays.
The Warner Bros. Animation film follows the relationship of Bruce and his son, Damian, an 8-year-old desperate to be just like his crime-fighting father. The only problem — beyond him being a literal child — is that crime no longer exists in Gotham. Batman decided to clean up the streets for good to give Damian a shot at the safe, crime-free childhood Bruce didn’t have.
But when his overprotective father is called to save the day in Nova Scotia on Christmas Eve and becomes stranded in a trap laid by Mr. Freeze, Damian is left home alone with no one to help him as two criminals break in. The hapless burglars manage to make off with his newly gifted utility belt, leading Damian on a chase through Gotham’s...

The Spider-Man family of media is synonymous with some of the best actors in the business. The movies are iconic thanks to the stars who bring the stories to life, and the cartoons are legendary for some of the best line deliveries you’ll ever hear. However, unlike properties such as Batman, no one actor has truly embodied the wall-crawler or his amazing friends (or deadly enemies). So, Insomniac Games had their work cut out for them when it came time to cast for Marvel’s Spider-Man.
To say Insomniac knocked it out of the park with their selected voices would be an understatement, so of course they were primed to return for subsequent entries, including Spider-Man 2. The game is full of returning characters, many of whom are voiced by the same actors, but the main selling point are all the new faces. During the game, players will get...

The Scarecrow, aka Dr. Jonathan Crane, is my favorite Batman villain. I've always been drawn to his eponymous motif, his horror-twinged stories, and how he contests Batman for the title "The Master of Fear." Hence, though "Batman: The Animated Series" holds a special place in my heart, I've always been disappointed that Scarecrow wasn't an A-list player.
Crane is the antagonist in only three episodes and in each one is mostly an obstacle for Batman to develop against. In his villainous debut, "Nothing to Fear," Batman is dosed with Scarecrow's Fear Toxin and haunted by an apparition of his father, leading to the Dark Knight's most famous line. In "Dreams in Darkness," the Fear Toxin drives Batman temporarily insane and he's locked in Arkham Asylum. He must escape both his physical and mental prison before Scarecrow can poison Gotham City.

Actor Barry Keoghan who was most recently seen in the films ‘The Banshees of Inishiren’ and ‘Saltburn’ also had a small role as the Joker in director Matt Reeves’ 2022 neo-noir-action-thriller-superhero film ‘The Batman’. Talking about getting the role, the Irish actor said that he got the gig by completely improvising his audition tape.
Detailing this, he said: “The Joker, that was funny how that happened. I just made it up. I wanted to make it Kubrick-y: symmetrical, the X on the back, the square doorframe, everything square. I just wanted swag to come across. Swag and endearing. It was just me giving my idea. And then I’s like, I’ma send this in!”
However, Keoghan had not in fact applied to get the role of the Dark Knight’s arch nemesis; instead he had actually applied to play the Riddler which as events turned out was not in his cards.

Now this is more like it. Three weeks after offering fans a decidedly casual glimpse of newly-minted Lois Lane Elizabeth Tulloch alongside returning Man of Steel Tyler Hoechlin, The CW has released a far more formal portrait of the iconic pair, with the Fortress of Solitude as a backdrop.
As previously reported, Superman and Lois will unite in this year’s three-night, “Elseworlds”-themed Arrowverse crossover event, which will air Sunday, Dec. 9 through Tuesday, Dec. 11, comprised of the ninth episodes of The Flash (airing on a special night), Arrow and Supergirl (airing on a special night).
