Stabler, Bell, and the rest of the Law & Order: Organized Crime crew might be wrapping up their final case soon.
Law & Order: Organized Crime's future is in doubt after NBC renewed the two other Law & Order shows and the One Chicago franchise without making a decision about this series.
They haven't canceled it outright, but this delay in renewal and last year's decision to order only half a season of Law & Order: Organized Crime are signs that NBC may be leaning toward cancellation, which would be a shame.
Law & Order: Organized Crime's ratings have never been as high as its sister shows. There are a few possible reasons for that.
The most obvious is that it airs at 10/9c, which may be too late for some viewers.

HBO’s officially renewed True Detective for season five. Season four, True Detective: Night Country, was the most-watched season overall, drawing in 12.7 million viewers. Showrunner Issa López will return in the same capacity for season five, and has just signed a new multiyear overall deal with HBO. The deal means López will create new content, including season five, for HBO and Max.

Sunday marks the final episode of “True Detective: Night Country,” Issa Lopez’s triumphant revival of the HBO series originally created by Nic Pizzolatto. A six-year old murder, five-body “corpsicle,” and chilling hints of the supernatural intertwine throughout the season, all of it made exponentially more chilling and suspenseful by the long night looming over Ennis, Alaska.
So, as Police Chief Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) would say: Ask the question (cue Kali Reis’ Navarro rolling her eyes). Who’s the killer? Too simple. What’s the motive? Now we’re cooking. What were the men of Tsalal hiding? There’s something there…

We’re halfway through the critically acclaimed True Detective: Night Country six-episode season, and even the arrival of episode three hasn’t made the killer’s identity any clearer. Episode three opens with a trip seven years in the past and a visit with the murder victim at the heart of the investigation.
Ennis Police Officer Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) shows up to arrest Annie Kowtok for trespassing and destruction of the mines and is met with screaming from inside the building. The building turns out to be a birthing center, and Navarro discovers that Annie is currently busy performing midwife duties. Instead of immediately arresting Annie, Navarro finds herself helping with the delivery. The new mom-to-be realizes the baby isn’t crying and becomes hysterical. This post contains spoilers for "True Detective: Night Country."
When the trailer for "True Detective: Night Country" arrived in 2023, it was exciting for many reasons. Not only was the crime anthology series returning after an extended break, the trailer for "Night Country" contained several spiral symbols, suggesting fans of the first season were in for a treat.
Back in 2014, season 1 of Nic Pizzolatto's series introduced us to detectives Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson) and Rustin Cohle (Matthew McConaughey), whose investigation into the disappearance and murder of several girls in and around Lafayette, Louisiana, led them to uncover a child abuse ring with members in the upper echelons of society. Throughout that season, the spiral symbol appeared, both at crime scenes and in Rust's post-addiction visions, and seemed to represent this so-called "Yellow King" cult.

Every now and then an esteemed actor from the posh theater world decides to make the move over to movies and television to slum it with us nerds. When Carrie Coon did so in 2014 with dual TV/movie roles in Gone Girl and The Leftovers, the unwashed entertainment masses all had the same reaction: “Now where have you been all our lives?!?”
After a successful career treading the boards on Broadway, Coon is now a pop culture mainstay and we couldn’t be happier about it. The Copley, Ohio-native absolutely shines in any role she takes, no matter how prominent or minor. From Nora Durst on The Leftovers to Gloria Burgle on Fargo season 3 and beyond, Coon quite simply goes hard in the paint.
Next up, Coon will be introduced to an even wider audience than ever before with the announcement that she’ll be headlining season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus.

Apart from being a film with almost no dialogue, the other interesting feature of the new film by Brian Duffield titled No One Will Save You is that it features its own theories about extraterrestrial invasion and the aliens’ intention behind interacting with humanity. There have been countless films about this topic, and what began as just a fascination with UFO sightings has evolved to the point where it now has to have a concrete plot as to why the aliens have arrived. Some films focus more on the language aliens use to communicate. Some show them as harmless creatures, while others project our own fantasies onto them of being saviors or destroyers. The intelligence of the aliens is also a deeply arresting topic. So, with all these various angles available to explore the aliens and depict them with fresh insight, No One Will Save You offers an amalgamation of all these possible permutations.

After reinvigorating the teen drama genre with an exciting storytelling approach in its maiden season back in 2021, Cruel Summer came up with a second season this year with the burden of a lot of expectations from its cult followers. While the current season has been lacking in terms of subtlety and finesse compared to the first season, the pulpy storytelling and intriguing new characters have managed to keep us on the edge. With the season approaching its culmination this week, we are going to discuss a bit about what has happened so far and the questions the big finale needs to answer.
Spoilers Ahead
Cruel Summer Season 2: What We Know So Far

San Francisco, June 29 (Ians) An AirTag has helped to bust robbers who stole more than $62,000 in thefts, the media reported.
A Texas family became fed up with gravesite robbers and installed a hidden AirTag to capture them in the act, reports AppleInsider.
The family didn’t anticipate that their smart use of AirTag would help authorities find stolen bronze memorial vases valued at more than $62,000.
According to Tony Velazquez, his uncle’s gravesite at the Restwood Memorial Park in Clute, Texas, had been frequently robbed.
“Each time, thieves had absconded with a bronze memorial vase — which retails for $600 — that had adorned the grave,” the report said.
Velazquez dropped an AirTag into the vase as a safety measure in case the thieves struck again.
He provided the authorities with the AirTag data, which they then used to locate the vase and dozens more at a house 45 minutes away.

Here's the hope that the South-Korean director Jung-bum Park has finally found his ideal time frame with the standard 90 minutes in his third feature film “The Height of the Wave”, which brought him a Special Jury Prize in Locarno. On Sunday evening, thousands of fans poured into Rochester, New York’s Main Street Armory for a concert set to be headlined by GloRilla, one of hip-hop’s fastest rising stars. Among them were 28-year-old Tamira De Jesus, who had heard mixed reviews about the venue in the past – claims that suggested that it should have been shut down long ago and more sinister accusations that it was a “death trap”. But once inside the venue, her experience at first clashed against rumors that had often popped up throughout the...

This The Simpsons review contains spoilers.
The Simpsons Season 34 Episode 1
It’s a conspiracy. The Simpsons season 34 premiere finds middle ground on a very divided topic, follows a twisted story line with single-minded concentration, and still can’t see what’s right in front of them. “Habeas Tortoise” works better as a satire than a comedy, even as it hits every comic beat.
The premise is simple. Someone, or some ones, stole Slow Leonard, the Springfield Zoo’s longest-running, slowest-moving attraction. Was he kidnapped to make way for newer, more exciting exhibits? Is he a drug mule for some zoological cartel, or a victim of a skewered perspective? The 150-year-old tortoise at the center of the missing-reptile case is an allegory for every unmentionable fake news story which takes on a life of its own, and Homer is the American Everyman who will swallow each variation whole, with a healthy pinch of saffron.
