21 Savage has unveiled the trailer for his upcoming biopic, titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, in which Donald Glover and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin will both play the rapper. Watch it below.
According to a press release, the clip shows three generations of 21 Savage “in the heat of a personal crisis” while doubling as a music video for a brand new song from the artist.

Mary J. Blige's name has always been synonymous with empowering others, namely through her iconic music, but now she's extended that reputation to another successful venture: the Strength of a Woman Festival. This year, the Atlanta event made elevation, education, and empowerment the number goal in every facet of the four-day affair (May 11-14) - from a moving Mother's Day gospel brunch and extravagant house ball to lively celebrity-led concerts. But that mission was most evident during Blige's thoughtful summit held on May 13 at AmericasMart, where stars gathered to share wisdom about entrepreneurship, business, health, wellness, and more with festivalgoers in the name of unity.

Spoiler Alert: The following story reveals major plot points from tonight’s series finale of FX’s Snowfall.
After 6 seasons, FX’s hit drama series Snowfall said its final goodbye tonight, and while most of what transpired was somewhat expected, seeing a promising life end in poverty and despair is absolutely heartbreaking.
Viewers have been on a journey with Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), seeing his highs and lows and cheering him on no matter what he’s gotten himself into. But money and power tend to change people, especially when said fortune comes from criminal activities. In the end, Franklin is left with no family and friends to speak of—except his day one Leon Simmons (Isaiah John)—a shadow of himself resembling his father Alton Williams (Kevin Carroll) at his lowest in Season 1, drunk and destitute.
“His final moments were incredibly challenging. There was a fatherhood connection there, which...

Everyone involved with Snowfall told us that the series wouldn’t end well. No one consumed by the show’s crescendoing tension could expect anything but tragedy.
Few, if any, outlaws ever got away scot-free. And, even with the boundless capabilities of historical fiction, neither could Damson Idris’s Franklin Saint. Many Snowfall fans anticipated the series concluding with him being whisked away by the CIA, or killed at the hands of his Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis) — if not one of the many people whose lives he’d ruined en...

It's the end of an era for "Snowfall" fans and, unfortunately, of the overall journeys of some of the series's pivotal characters.
For the past six seasons, the 1980s-set crime drama has followed the dramatic tale of ambitious drug dealer Franklin (Damson Idris) and the epic rise and fall of his drug organization during the crack epidemic in South Central Los Angeles. While we've witnessed Franklin's transformation from college-bound teenager to a ruthless kingpin, one of the biggest shocks in the gritty FX series thus far has been watching his family slowly fall apart - which, in part, has led to another heartbreaking death.
The latest major "Snowfall" character to die - following major losses like Franklin's father Alton and, most recently, his crew member Black Diamond - in the show's sixth and final season is none other than Amin Joseph's beloved Jammin' Jerome Saint, aka Uncle Jerome. In "Snowfall"'s sixth episode,...

Exclusive: A spinoff of the hit drama series Snowfall is in early stages of development at FX, sources tell Deadline. No one would comment but we hear that, if it comes to fruition, the offshoot would potentially star Gail Bean reprising her fan-favorite Snowfall character, Wanda.
The spinoff is a continuation of the original story set in 1990s Los Angeles as South Central transitions out of the crack era into the gangster rap business, with areas heavily infested by gangs led by the Bloods and Crips. Wanda would serve as the connective tissue between the original show and the offshoot, which is expected to introduce other main characters, sources tell Deadline.
It is as yet unknown if any other characters from the original could also appear in the new show.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from Season 6, Episode 3 of “Snowfall.”
With the Saint family at odds, chaos and killings run rampant throughout L.A. in the sixth and final season of “Snowfall” on FX. But even amidst the turmoil of a drug war, Leon (Isaiah John) and Wanda (Gail Bean) were able to have their moment in the sun.
Episode 3 titled, “Door of No Return” opens to find Leon wearing an unusual getup that strays from his typical white t-shirt and dickies as he walks the streets of Ghana with Wanda with a haunting question that looms over their heads. Longtime crime fiction novelist and “Snowfall” writer Walter Mosley says John Singleton gave writers everything creatively that they needed to know to continue “Snowfall” before his April 2019 death.
“Snowfall” is set to premiere its sixth and final season on Feb. 22 on FX. The series has become the network’s top-rated show, averaging 4.3 million total viewers across linear, VOD and streaming with its Season 5 debut.
Aside from its stellar cast, the show’s success can easily be attributed to Dave Andron, co-creater, executive producer and writer; Mosley, executive producer and writer; and the late Singleton, who co-created the series alongside Andron and Eric Amadio. Singleton died about three months before show’s Season 3 premiere, and the show has since maintained the essence and meticulousness of Singleton’s creative decisions and guidance.

“P-Valley” has been renewed for a third season consisting of 10 episodes at Starz. The critically acclaimed strip club-set drama is currently the cable network’s biggest show in the U.S.

We're way beyond the days of calling "P-Valley" a TV series just about strippers. Katori Hall's acclaimed Starz drama reached breakout success after its first season aired in the summer of 2020, largely because it created a raw yet empowering space for strip-club culture to be seen in a way that's rarely displayed on television. But the show accomplished so much more than that in season two.
"P-Valley" took braver steps with its second installment to depict issues far too complex to be contained inside a small-town, neon-lit club, aka The Pynk - including poverty, politics, sexual identity, systemic racism, domestic violence, misogyny, and a pandemic. "The second season is crafted better in terms of dramatic construction," Hall tells Popsugar. "That feeling of, 'Oh my God, what's going to happen next?' Being overwhelmed, I think, is very much a part of the feeling of season two."

A series revolving around a down and dirty strip club in the Mississippi Delta isn’t standard hit TV show fare. But Tony-nominated and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Katori Hall didn’t branch out from the stage to television to play by the rules. When her edgy TV series “P-Valley” debuted on Starz two years ago, circumstances were not ideal. The world was battling Covid plus social protests prompted by the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery were erupting all over the nation. In Season 2, those real-world events figure prominently as the show deftly avoids a sophomore slump and rises to its occasion.

Last season, viewers cheered as Leon checked his ex-girlfriend into a rehabilitation program and she overcame her dependency and started rebuilding her life. Now in Season 5, Wanda has gone from a cringy phone-sex job to working for Franklin as a property manager.

After a two-year hiatus, Starz‘s P-Valley is back — and with some new faces on board. Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist star John Clarence Stewart is joining the Season 2 cast in a recurring role alongside fellow additions Shamika Cotton and newcomer Miracle Watts. Stewart will play Big Teak, a gang member in Lil’ Murda’s (J. Alphonse Nicholson) Hurt Village Hustlas, who is adjusting to life on parole after being released from prison. “While the brothers attempt to bridge the chasm of time, Lil’ Murda’s growing fame provides unforeseen obstacles,” reads the character description. Described as a “fighter and a biter with sky-high ambitions,” Watts’ Big Bone is a new addition at The Pynk strip club, while Cotton’s artist Farrah will form an “unlikely” connection with Mercedes (Brandee Evans), which will shake up her “unconventional marriage” with Coach. This casting news comes after Psalms Salazar and Gail Bean were...

Exclusive: John Clarence Stewart (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), Shamika Cotton (The Equalizer) and newcomer Miracle Watts are set for recurring roles on the second season of Starz’s P-Valley.
Based on Katori Hall’s play Pussy Valley, P-Valley Season 2 returns to the Mississippi Delta where lies an oasis of grit and glitter in a rough patch of human existence where beauty can be hard to find. This Southern-fried, hour-long drama tells the kaleidoscopic story of a “little strip club that could” and the big characters who come through its doors — the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful and the damned. Trap music meets film noir in this lyrical and atmospheric series that dares to ask what happens when small-town folk dream beyond the boundaries of the Piggly Wiggly and the pawnshop.

"Snowfall"'s fifth season is already off to a wild start. The 1980s-set crime drama - which premiered on Feb. 23 - picks up 15 months after the season four finale. While a new chapter of wealth and success has begun for Franklin (Damson Idris) and the Saint Family, a disaster is just waiting to happen as the LAPD knocks down their door.
"I feel like in season five, at this point, it's no longer about the family."
Last season of "Snowfall" showed how crucial it is for the Saint family to stick together in times of crisis. But according to Gail Bean - who portrays Wanda in the series - season five is the complete opposite. "I feel like in season five, at this point, it's no longer about the family," she tells Popsugar. Peacock has shared the first look at its new upcoming comedy series “Killing It,” streaming this April.
Created by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, “Killing It” stars Craig Robinson as Craig, a man who competes in a state-sponsored python hunt in his quest to achieve the American Dream. The series co-stars Stephanie Nogueras as Craig’s ex-wife Camille, Jet Miller as his pre-teen daughter Vanessa and Rell Battle as his younger brother Isaiah. Claudia O’Doherty, Scott Macarthur and Wyatt Walter round out the cast.
“We love all the ambitious, challenging, thematically-rich series that populate the current peak-tv landscape,” said Goor in a statement. “We also love jokes. So, we tried to make a show that could deliver both. We wanted ‘Killing It’ to explore America’s quasi-religious obsession with entrepreneurship and wealth, and we also wanted it to be funny. Really, really funny. Plus, we wanted it to have big snakes.
