Drew Barrymore is definitely rapper Bryce Vine’s jam. His hit song “Drew Barrymore” dominated the charts in 2019 and he recently described Barrymore as his ideal dream girl.
Vine told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that he wanted to capture Barrymore’s essence in the song. “But it’s also like just representing her. That iconic beauty, personality, coolness, hipness, all in one package. It’s kind of what that song was representing,” he said.
Drew Barrymore was Bryce Vine’s crush
Vine recalled how Barrymore was his childhood crush. “The movie The Wedding Singer, that particular Drew Barrymore was my crush, like 1997,” he said. In The Wedding Singer, Barrymore played Julia Sullivan a young waitress who was dating Glenn, a lunky bond broker. Julia’s sweetness and playfulness steals recently dumped wedding singer, Robbie Hart’s (Adam Sandler) heart. Robbie and Julia form a friendship that could be true love.

Fitz brought his single “Congratulations” to Jimmy Kimmel Live with the help of Bryce Vine. The musician, of Fitz and the Tantrums, performed the track in the bleachers and on the football field of Hollywood High School, joined by two backing musicians and some fireworks.
“Congratulations” comes off Fitz’s debut solo album Head Up High, which dropped last month via Elektra. The musician wrote the album after a headlining tour with Fitz and the Tantrums was cut short due to Covid-19 and he found himself back at home under lockdown.

Deadmau5 and the Neptunes have shared a slick new song, “Pomegranate,” which will appear on the superstar electronic-music producer’s next album.
The track boasts a steady funk bounce that anchors an array of bright synths; it threads the needle between disco, R&b and festival-ready electro-pop. It’s also exactly the kind of instrumental perfectly suited for Pharell, who drapes the song in his silky croon, singing, “You’re making faces, probably so mad/We’re in the ocean, waves are rolling in your eyes/Pulses high, the heart...

We thought Matheus was a shoe-in to take the whole thing the first night we watched The Glee Project. He could sing like nobody's business and he was a "type" that Glee had not seen before. Matheus and his family had moved to the States from Brazil to see if they could determine why he was not growing at a typical rate. It turned out there was no reason, he was "just short." The diminutive singer stands at just 4'9", making him perfect fodder for the mean kids at high school who tease anyone who's different.

The Glee Project, the search for the next Glee cast member, started last Sunday night and, like all good reality TV, someone had to be the first to go. This time it was Westlake, California, resident Bryce Ross-Johnson. His Glee-inspired moniker was "Most Likely to Break a Heart," but it was Bryce who went home broken hearted this time. In a recent conference call interview he talked about being the first to go, the mentors on the show, what he learned from the experience and his pick to take it all.
Many viewers were shocked that the smooth, jazzy-voiced Bryce was eliminated in the first week. Bryce went up against Ellis and Damien in the last performance round of the competition, auditioning in person for Glee creator Ryan Murphy. In the end Ryan saw something more Glee-like in the other two competitors.
