Graham Hadfield is an award-winning composer for film and television, both scripted and factual.
His television credits include: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES serialised from the book by Cecelia Ahern; the landmark GALAPAGOS documentary series for BBC One; JOE ALL ALONE, a CBBC series adapted from the book by Joanna Nadin; SAMUEL BECKETT & ANDRÉ THE GIANT a comedy directed by Ben Palmer for Sky Arts' Urban Myths series; DAVID ATTENBOROUGH MEETS PRESIDENT OBAMA for BBC One; and behind-the-scenes for the record-breaking David Attenborough series GREAT BARRIER REEF for BBC One.
His film credits include: the romantic comedy ONE CRAZY THING which opened the East End Film Festival; the supernatural thriller CROW, starring Tom Rhys Harries and Terence Stamp; HINTERLAND, the critically-acclaimed drama, featured in the book New British Cinema, directed by Harry Macqueen; the award-winning thriller CONTAINMENT; and two IMAX 3D features - CONQUEST OF THE SKIES and AMAZING MIGHTY MICRO MONSTERS.
His commercials work includes BEKO - CONNECTED HOME, and DIESEL - TIME TO BE BRAVE campaigns.
Graham has won a number of awards for his work including a Music+Sound Award for the score to the BAFTA-nominated drama ORBIT EVER AFTER, and an East End Film Festival Accession Award for the score to the scripted feature CONTAINMENT.
He studied at the National Film and Television School, supported by scholarships from The PRS for Music Foundation and The Alan Hawkshaw Foundation, and he has a PhD in electroacoustic composition supported by a scholarship from the prestigious Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
Graham works from his 5.1 studio among a collection of instruments - some traditional, some esoteric, and some custom-made.
