Clark Backo, best known for “The Changeling” and “Letterkenny,” has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s “Venom 3.”
The Tom Hardy-starring threequel, which is set to hit theaters on Nov. 8, also features Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor in undisclosed roles. Similarly, character details for Backo are being kept under wraps.
Kelly Marcel helms the antihero movie in her feature directorial debut, and wrote the screenplay from a story she developed with Hardy. The duo, who also developed the first two “Venom” installments, return to produce the film alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.
Reps for Sony and Backo did not immediately respond to request for comment on her casting.
Backo most recently starred opposite Lakeith Stanfield on Apple TV+ limited series “The Changeling,” paying Emma, wife to Stanfield’s Apollo and a new mom who is suffering emotionally and vanishes without a trace.

Kamara will join the other fashion-forward individuals in Kensington Grey’s orbit, including “AliyahCore” progenitor Aliyah’s Closet.
Kensington Grey’s other new signees pride themselves on their connections to Gen Z audiences. Brown broke out during the pandemic as a source of workplace advice for young professionals. He now runs a consultancy called GenXL.

I’m not a reality TV junkie by any means. The last time I watched one was ages ago, but Amazon Prime’s 007: Road to a Million landed on my watchlist for a couple of reasons. First, I’m a big James Bond fan; second, it didn’t look like a traditional reality show; and third, it had Brian Cox. Instead of going with the usual celebrity contestants, 007: Road to a Million gambles with nine pairs of regular working-class people like you and me. They’re sent on a globe-trotting adventure, facing various challenges, all for the chance to win one million pounds. They aren’t all just young and muscular but come from all walks of life. We’ve got ex-cops like Keith and Nick, a father-and-son duo, a husband-and-wife, twin sisters, co-workers, and whatnot. They’re all aiming to win a million pounds while visiting some...

When Jeremy Renner’s Rennervations landed on streaming services, I thought the production company had hit the peak of creativity. Jeremy Renner traveling around the country to create or repair “purpose-built vehicles” was one of the best shows of the year. But now, Amazon Studios has taken it up a notch with their latest offering, the 007: Road to a Million series. In this show, regular folks like you and me are thrust into James Bond-style situations and must solve puzzles to win a million pounds. Narrated by Brian Cox, who also takes the reins of the challenge as the controller, 007: Road to a Million gives its players a chance to visit some of the most exotic places in the world, including Istanbul and Venice, where James Bond carried out his missions. Here’s a complete rundown of all the participants in the 007: Road to a Million challenge.

Prime Video revealed the nine pairs who will be competing on 007: Road to a Million hosted by Succession‘s Brian Cox. The reality competition series, inspired by the adventures of Bond, James Bond, is set to premiere on November 10, 2023.
The eight-episode season will find the contestants traveling to locations that hold a special significance to Bond fans, including the Scottish Highlands, Venice, and Jamaica. During their globetrotting adventures, the nine pairs will tackle difficult physical challenges.
Commenting on his involvement as The Controller, Cox said, “I got to see how ordinary people would cope with being on a James Bond adventure. As they travel the world to some of the most iconic Bond locations, it gets more intense and nail-biting. I enjoyed my role as both villain and tormentor, with license to put the hopeful participants through the mangle.”

Ex-footballer and TV presenter Chris Kamara has joked that his MBE will be taken off him after he did a fake Scottish accent on The Masked Singer.
In the ITV show, celebrities perform under costumes with their identity hidden from the public and judges.
The 65-year-old was the first singer to be unmasked on the show after he sang The Drifters’ “Save The Last Dance For Me”.
During the performance, Kamara did a fake Scottish accent so he could fool judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Rita Ora.
It clearly worked, as the foursome had thought it might be the likes of comedian presenter Ian Stirling under the mask.
After his identity was revealed, Kamara tweeted at his own expense, joking that his accent was terrible.
“They have just asked me for the MBE back ð... after that singing in a Scottish accent ð.¤£ð... ð.¤£,” he tweeted.
