Rick Harrison and Austin “Chumlee” Russell from Pawn Stars and the new spin-off, Pawn Stars Do America, have a contentious back-and-forth relationship.
Fans are commenting about a recent interaction between Rick and Chumlee that was shared on Instagram.
Chumlee has worked for Rick at the pawn shop in Las Vegas for over twenty years, so something about their relationship must work well.
The duo recently worked together at a History Channel event in Mexico called Historyfest, while Rick’s son Corey Harrison stayed home, presumably minding the main store in Las Vegas.
But the video Chumlee shared on his Instagram has fans commenting on their working together and why they “put up with him” at the store.
Chumlee’s Instagram video is captioned, “Let’s see how Rick likes this vanilla coffee,” it seems that Chumlee intentionally mishandled Rick’s coffee order.

Fans of the popular Pawn Stars and its spin-off Pawn Stars Do America know that Austin “Chumlee” Russell wants to become a manager after working there for all these years.
Based on how things look in a video shared by Pawn Stars on their YouTube channel, it probably won’t happen any time soon.
Rick Harrison is the owner and has groomed his son, Corey Harrison, to manage and take over the shop, but that doesn’t mean that family friend and co-worker Chumlee doesn’t have the skills to run things.
Chumlee is a fan favorite, but Rick trusts his son Corey more with the shop’s operations, grooming him to take over one day.
Recently, Rick called Chumlee’s interaction with a seller and a valuable coin she wanted to sell a “joke,” and fans disliked it.

Pawn Stars Do America is midway through Season 2, and fans are noticing things about the hit show’s stars.
Rick Harrison, the boss, has been the mainstay of Pawn Stars and the spinoff, Pawn Stars Do America.
Fans thought that a seller in a recent episode surprised Rick because they took him up on his offer for a musket that was in pristine condition.
Usually, when sellers find out their item is worth more than they thought, they want to haggle, but this time, not so much. The seller took Rick’s first offer, much to his surprise.
Now, fans are looking at the other two show stars, Rick’s son, Corey Harrison, and family friend turned employee, Austin “Chumlee” Russell.
Some stars may not be able to cope with their success and the fanfare that comes with appearing on hit television shows.

Surprising an old professional like Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars takes a lot, but he looked like he was surprised in an upcoming episode.
Over the years, he has seen almost everything come through his shop, and now that he is taking his crew around America on Pawn Stars Do America, fans have noticed something about a deal.
In the teaser that Pawn Stars dropped on YouTube for Season 2 Episode 10, Desert Beach, something about an interaction with a seller seems to have fans talking.
This week, the crew, Rick, his son Corey Harrison, and employee Chumlee were in Mesa, Arizona, to look for fabulous finds for the pawn shop back in Las Vegas.

Two inmates from the Mississippi Raymond Detention Center were found missing on Monday. They were identified as Joseph Spring and Michael Lewis and law enforcement detected this break out during a headcount when they could not locate the two men. It is still unclear how they were able to escape, but it is possible they escaped through an air duct and then climbed the fence.
Spring still has not been located and there is currently a search underway to find him. Sheriff Tyree Jones has been updating the case on Twitter. The people in the nearby area were notified and asked to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity that could be related.
Update: Escaped detainee, Michael Lewis-31 is back in custody. He was captured moments ago by Hcso Deputies searching the area of Seven Springs Rd. and Springridge Rd. He faces additional escape charges. The search is still ongoing for Joseph Spring.

The game is simple: contestants will be put up against each other and Pawn Stars cast members Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison and Chumlee Russell in a three round game of trivia to win prize money and items from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawnshop, the family business featured on the show.
“The cherished items up for grabs are from Rick’s personal collection and he doesn’t want to give them up – this is the only game show that doesn’t want the contestants to win,” reads the official description.
An open casting call for Pawnography contestants will take place Saturday, May 3 in Las Vegas.
Pawn Stars airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on History Channel.

On “Pawn Stars,” a customer brought in one of the rarest books out there: a first American edition copy of Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea.”
Most of the first editions were lost in The Great Boston Fire of 1872. Only about 50 copies are thought to currently exist. Gary, the owner, wanted $10,000 for the book, which he had professionally restored. Of course, Corey Harrison wanted to have it authenticated.
“This book is very, very rare,” book expert Rebecca Romney told him. “It’s not the end of the world to see Verne with condition issues, because Verne is one of those people who was always heavily read. With all of that in mind, I would place this at about $12,000.
Gary was psyched. When it came to final negotiations, Gary sold the book to Corey for just $9,500.
Tweeters couldn’t believe Corey dropped that much money on just a book.

Let's see these boys bargain their way out of this one! Pawn Stars stars Rick and Corey Harrison were slapped with a hefty fine recently after leaving their Glamis, Calif. campgrounds less than sanitary over Thanksgiving weekend, TMZ reports. The father-son duo allegedly left more than 10 trash bags' worth of garbage — everything from beer cans to a full-on barbecue grill — at their campsite, an offense that could result in a fine of approximately $1,000 per head for each member of their camping party. Rick and Corey Harrison, the two stars of History Channel's "Pawn Stars," have gotten in a bit of trouble with California authorities after going on a camping trip over Thanksgiving. The father-son duo and their friends were hanging out in Glamis, Calif. over that weekend when they failed to pick up the massive amounts of trash left at their campsite.

TMZ learned from law enforcement officials that there was enough trash left on the campsite to fill 10 trash bags. Among the debris were beer cans, garbage and even a barbeque grill. As a result, the group has been handed a fine of $1,000 a person for leaving the site a mess. However, the Harrisons say they aren't involved in the incident.

On ‘Pawn Stars,’ a woman brought in an American flag from Wwi with an amazing backstory. According to the woman, her grandfather had cut the flag from a World War I plane.
"The plane was bullet-ridden and it crashed," she explained.
"So let me get this right," Corey Harrison said. "The plane was on fire and your grandfather ran up with a knife and cut the flag out so the American flag wouldn’t burn?"
She also had dog tags to prove the plane came from the same squadron Quinton Roosevelt -- Teddy Roosevelt’s son -- flew in. The flag had been in her family for 95 years.
It was all just too great for Rick, who decided this was definitely an item worth having. He bought it for $6,000.

On "Pawn Stars" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on History) Corey Harrison took a punt on a creepy stuffed animal.
A taxidermist brought in her creation, which was fashioned largely out of a deer's backside.
Explaining how she put together her unusual creation, the taxidermist said she used "a bobcat jaw set and I hand-sculpted a nose on it to look like a dog’s nose."
Completing the look were "some eyes I collect from different taxidermy conventions I go to."
Even though Corey only paid $150 for the creepy confection, the Old Man thought he was crazy.
The treasure-hunting continues on "Pawn Stars," Mondays at 10 p.m. Et on History.

How much for 19th-century U.S. paper currency? That was the question facing the "Pawn Stars" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on History) Monday night as they appraised some rare bills.
A seller brought in a $5 bill and a $1 bill, and she pointed out that the $1 bill had the serial number one.
She was hoping to get $29,000 for the $1 bill and $16,000 for the $5 bill. However, because both bills had been damaged over the years Corey Harrison's final offer was $16,500 for both.
"Yeah, I can't take that," she told him. Eventually, she did accept $4,000 for the $5 bill but kept hold of the $1.
The bargaining continues each week on "Pawn Stars," Mondays at 10 p.m. Et on History.

Last night on "Pawn Stars" (Mon., 10 p.m. Est on History) Corey Harrison and Chumlee Russell had a book appraised that they thought could be a first edition of Walden by Henry David Thoreau.
A first edition would be a big deal -- the appraiser tells them one could sell for as much as $25,000. She checks the book out as the guys look on nervously.
The good news? It is a first edition. The bad news? It's an English first edition, which is not as rare and thus not as valuable. The last one she saw at auction had a guide price of $500 to $600 but eventually sold for only $100.

On Monday's 'Pawn Stars' (Mondays, 10Pm on History), a customer brought the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop what he said was a horseshoe worn by Secretariat. If it were a genuine item, it would be a real catch for the guys at the shop, but it needed to be authenticated. So Corey Harrison and the Old Man brought in their expert to check it out.
The customer had a letter signed by Penny Chenery, Secretariat's owner, and the expert said he could establish that the letter had been sent from Chenery's daughter's house in New York. The shoe also had marks consistent with the brand of horseshoe that Secretariat had worn. The big test, according to the expert, was whether it was a race shoe or a farm shoe: race shoes are aluminum and farm shoes are steel.
