Charles (Chuck) Underwood has held various positions throughout his
career as a television producer and filmmaker. He was also the
Executive Producer and Music Supervisor on 'Bed of Dreams'; a
songwriter/producer of "Original Gangster" and "Above The Rim" as well
as Associate Producer of the television series "Street Gold." Chuck has
also performed as an actor in the film 'Black Rhapsody', in the 1970's,
Chuck's credits included Producer and Promoter of the Detroit run of
theatrical productions: "SELMA" (starring Ernie Banks); "WIZ" (starring
Stephanie Mills); "Timbuktu" (starring Geoffrey Holder) and "Lil Willie
Jr.'s Resurrection."
In the 1990's and on into the new millennium, Chuck has produced numerous musical concerts and attended, as a deal maker and exhibitor, the prestigious International MIDEM Music Market in Cannes, France. Most recently, Chuck's attention is focused on the theatrical production of 'Car Wash - The Musical, A Norman Whitfield Story'.
