In the new trailer for Kevin Connolly’s Gotti, John Travolta serves up some serious mob boss realness as the titular John Gotti, the infamous leader of the Gambino crime family. Vertical Entertainment is releasing Gotti on June 15 with Sunrider Productions.
Gotti went by many names: Teflon Don, Dapper Don, or just Gotti. Whatever you called him, Gotti became an iconic name. At a young age, Gotti found his way into the Gambino crime family, where he was taken under the wing of underboss Aniello Dellacroce (Stacey Keach). Utilizing a combination of cunning, guile, street smarts, and ruthless determination he quickly and effectively scaled the heights to position himself as a Capo in the organization, proving himself to be a lucrative earner.
The trailer gives a taste of Gotti’s journey as he grew resentful of the leadership the Gambino squad. To change this, he simply made trusted alliances and...

Actor Victor Gojcaj, who played Bashkim in the 2009 action crime thriller remake ‘The Taking of Pelham 123,’ is defending the film’s director, Tony Scott. Several people who witnessed the filmmaker commit suicide on Sunday by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California recorded his death, and began shopping around the videos to different media outlets. Gojcaj posted comments to the people who are shopping around Scott’s suicide video on his Facebook page. Among the comments the actor wrote include “soulless motherf**kers trying to shop around Tony Scott’s death on video. You Motherf**Kers Should Be Gutted. Let the man rest in peace.” Written by: Karen Benardello...

First off, wishing all of you Hunger Games fans a very happy 4th of July. But, before we get to the holiday-inspired material, in case you’ve been off the grid for the past day, we’ve got some huge news to announce. Jena Malone has been offered the role of Johanna Mason in Catching Fire. It’s rather tough not to launch into a rant about how thrilled I am with this news, but I’ll contain myself and just direct you to the fandom-wide reaction piece we ran yesterday. As for the other Catching Fire new additions, there hasn’t been much movement in terms of solid announcements. There was that whole Kevin Nash/Victor Gojcaj thing, Romeo Miller (Lil’ Romeo) supposedly met with Lionsgate for a part, Hunter Parrish has been chatting with producers...

“The Taking of Pelham 123″ has a bit of a strange title (copied from the 1974 film of the same name), but as a viewer it is an easy to follow action film which we are graced with the loveable and slightly ‘dad-like’ character of Barber, a New York metro tube operator, played by none other than Denzel Washington. John Travolta plays the movies’ bad guy with Tony Scott taking the directing reigns. The supporting cast includes John Turturro, James Gandolfini, Victor Gojcaj, Michael Rispoli and Luis Guzmán.
The story unfolds as one of the trains in Washington’s mandate is hijacked by Travolta and his gang. It’s unclear from the outset exactly what he’s after but as the film unfolds, we begin to learn a lot more about Travolta’s character. Although the good guy, we also learn that not all of Washington’s past is as rosey as he’d like either!
