Sometimes you hear too-cute-for-words stories about now-famous singers that you find hard to believe. Like the time they got up in front of the family at Christmas and sang a pitch-perfect "Silent Night" while still in diapers. Published today in the UK and USA is Mike Wild's new fantasy novel Twilight of Kerberos: The Trials of Trass Kathra.
Abaddon's Twilight of Kerberos series has featured four authors, following different central characters in an overarching plot: Matthew Sprange's Lucius Kane, shadow mage and thief; Mike Wild's Kali Hooper, adventuress and archaeologist; Jonathan Oliver's Silus Morlader, a fisherman with a terrible heritage; and David McIntee's one-off Gabriella DeZantez, holy warrior of the Final Faith.
The Trials of Trass Kathra and the upcoming ninth book, The Wrath of Kerberos, weave the different stories together towards a conclusion in the tenth book, Children of the Pantheon, due out in 2012.
