Patrick Milling-Smith is a producer who, alongside Brian Carmody, co-founded the international production company SMUGGLER in 2002 and creative studio division7 in 2018. He has produced commercials, music videos, films, theatre and experiential content and his production company SMUGGLER has been awarded the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on three occasions, the most recent being in 2015.

Patrick is the CEO of SMUGGLER Inc., known for representing a roster of directors and whose notable work includes Ecko's marketing stunt "Still Free", Burger Kings' viral "Whopper Freakout" campaign, Run the Jewel's music video for "Legend Has It", the Sandy Hook Promise's PSA "Evan," Jay-Z's music video for "Smile", and Squarespace's "John Malkovich's Journey" which won the primetime commercial Emmy in 2017.
For the 2019 Super Bowl, Patrick and SMUGGLER collaborated with DDB Worldwide to produce a one-night-only Broadway Musical Commercial. ''Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical'' starred Michael C. Hall and was by playwright Will Eno and Nathanial Lawlor. The show had a single performance at The Town Hall on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, 2019. The musical was cited by multiple critics as one of the most successful advertising campaigns conducted in conjunction with the 2019 Super Bowl.

Patrick's feature film producing credits include ''Greetings from Tim Buckley'', ''Weightless'' written by Enda Walsh and starring Alessandro Nivola, and "Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian'' starring Benicio Del Toro.
Patrick's Broadway theatre productions include the play ''Seminar'' starring the late Alan Rickman, which premiered on Broadway and was extended with Jeff Goldblum as the lead. "Seminar" was named The New York Times critic's pick. He also produced the Tony award-winning musical "Once," based on the 2007 film of the same name by John Carney. Like the film, music and lyrics were by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, including the Academy Award-winning "Falling Slowly". The book for the musical was written by Enda Walsh. The musical premiered at the New York Theatre Workshop in 2011, before transferring to Broadway in 2012. The production received eleven 2012 Tony Award nominations, and won eight including Best Musical, Best Actor and Best Book. The musical also won the 2012 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical and the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. It has since spawned a London production and North American Tour.
In 2017, Patrick produced "The Kid Stays in the Picture," based on the memoir of the same name by Robert Evans. Adapted and directed by Simon McBurney, the play premiered and sold out at the Royal Court Theatre in London in March of 2017. The play focuses on the rise and fall of Robert Evans, the former head of Paramount Pictures who produced ''Love Story'', ''Rosemary's Baby'', ''Chinatown (film)" and 'The Godfather.''
IMMERSIVE MEDIA
In 2015, Patrick produced a virtual reality documentary film titled "The Displaced" for The New York Times which received the inaugural Entertainment Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Patrick also produced a 13-minute virtual reality experience at San Diego Comic-Con for Mr. Robot in 2016, written and directed by creator and showrunner Sam Esmail. The following year, he produced an augmented reality experience at SDCC titled ''Sessions: The Legion Mixed Reality Experience'' for FX Network series ''Legion" The experience utilized both the Microsoft HoloLens headsets and live actors within a massive interactive installation, putting viewers into the eyes of the show's lead character David Haller, a diagnosed schizophrenic who discovers he may actually be a super powerful mutant instead.
Amongst other work is the short documentary "The Protectors: Walk in the Ranger's Shoes", directed by Kathryn Bigelow, and virtual reality music videos for U2 ("Song for Someone"), Muse ("Revolt"), and OneRepublic ("Kids").
