Match #1: Queen of the Ring Quarterfinal Match – Bianca Belair def. Tiffany Stratton The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Est took on The Center of the Universe in a magnificent showdown for the chance to move on in the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Bianca Belair seemed to have tweaked her knee in the early going but found the resolve to fight through the pain. Stratton locked on to Belair’s injured knee, using The Est’s braids to take Belair down before sending her crashing knee first into the ring steps. Belair tried for the Kod but Stratton was able to evade it as Belair’s knees gave out. Stratton used her wits to her advantage, distracting the...

Welcome to this review of WWE’s latest pay-per-view/premium live event, Backlash, which this year emanates from France. We’ve got five matches on the card so let’s get into it.
Match #1: Street Fight – Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match could even begin, all four Superstars engaged in a massive melee with WWE officials, including SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was attempting to break up the brawl. A fed up Aldis decided to forgo the original tag team rules, turning the bout into a Street Fight. The chaos only heightened with the introduction of weapons including Kendo sticks, trash cans, tables and even the Prime hydration station being used as instruments of destruction. Both teams traded blows with Owens splashing Tonga through a table while Sikoa nearly simultaneously put Orton through a table with a Samoan Drop.

Tiffany Stratton is used to being the center of the universe and has taken that line of thinking from Nxt to WWE’s main roster. The blonde bombshell officially joined SmackDown earlier this year following the Royal Rumble. It didn’t take long for the former gymnast to turn heads. A breakout moment for her was an impressive showing in February’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia. She has acclimated well, ruffling the feathers of top performers like Bianca Belair and Naomi. With the WWE Draft looming, Stratton looks ready to continue her ascension no matter what brand she might land. We sat down with the “Buff Barbie,” who opened up about life on the road. What has been the biggest adjustment with your transition to the main roster? Tiffany Stratton: I would definitely say travel would be the number one, craziest, hardest thing to adapt to. You’re traveling every week,...

A hard-fought battle between two of Nxt’s best highflyers went the way of Axiom as he bested Nathan Frazer in a fast-paced match-up.The speed of both Superstars was on full display as was their athleticism, as Axiom’s moonsault to the outside was soon one-upped by Frazer countering a top-rope maneuver by hitting a twisting neckbreaker. One hesitation by Frazer opened the door for Axiom, who hit a scintillating Spanish Fly and followed that up with a perfect Golden Ratio to win the friendly matchup.

Match #1: Nxt Heritage Cup Championship – Noam Dar def. Akira Tozawa The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Heritage Cup remains with Noam Dar, but not before a five-round battle with Akira Tozawa. Tozawa pushed Dar to his limit, but the Meta-Four helped the champion retain his cup, punctuated by a Novaroller.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match – Tiffany Stratton def. Fallon Henley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The first qualifier for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match is Tiffany Stratton after a statement victory over Fallon Henley. The tough farm girl gave Stratton a fight, but the Blonde Bombshell targeted the already injured knee of Henley and delivered a Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure the victory.

Match #1: Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match – The Creed Brothers def. Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Julius and Brutus Creed put on a show for the Nxt Universe as they defeated Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo in a wacky and wild Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match. All four competitors wore the wounds of war all over their bodies, but in the end a Super Brutus Ball through two tables was enough to give The Creeds the victory.

Match #1: The New Day def. Alpha Academy The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the final moments of a tremendous tag team matchup pitting The New Day against The Alpha Academy, Kofi Kingston took advantage of Chad Gable being down and out at ringside to hit Trouble in Paradise on Otis. This set up Xavier Woods to finish him with the elbow off the top rope.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Nxt Women’s Title Match – Becky Lynch def. Indi Hartwell The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite the determination of Indi Hartwell, who was never defeated in her Nxt Title reign, Nxt Women’s Champion Becky Lynch triumphed by making her opponent tap out to the Dis-arm-her.

Well, well, well. Nxt now have the No Mercy Ple brand and this is the first version of the PPV which started back in 1999, right here in the UK! With that being said, let’s see what went down on the first Nxt: No Mercy…
Match #1: Blair Davenport def. Kelani Jordan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The destructive Blair Davenport sent another message to the Nxt women’s locker room by defeating upstart newcomer Kelani Jordan to kick off Nxt No Mercy. Davenport mocked her opponent throughout the match, but her overconfidence backfired as Jordan rallied with her innovative and athletic offense. Despite the Nxt Universe firmly in her corner, Jordan couldn’t muster up enough to overcome her veteran opponent as Davenport’s suplex driver gave her the victory.

Group A belongs to Butch as the Brawling Brute overcomes his rival, Tyler Bate, to advance to the Nxt Global Heritage Invitational Finals. The bout devolved into a slugfest with both competitors giving it all they had which included Butch hitting a Tyler Driver 97 and Bate hitting a Bitter End, but neither Superstar could put the other away. With just over 10 seconds remaining in the match, Butch countered Bate and hit the Better End to win Group A and secure his place in next week’s finals.

The two competitors left it all in the ring as they exchanged their signature offense like chops, splashes, and even a suplex from Ilja Dragunov to Lee on the announce table. It’s Tiffy Time on WWE Nxt with Tiffany Stratton reigning as women’s champion. She exudes confidence every time she walks to the ring as those flashbulbs go off. The blonde bombshell secured the gold in the finals of a tournament against Lyra Valkyria at Battleground. Stratton may have the pretty-in-pink Barbie exterior, but the 24-year-old has proven to be more than just looks. The title holder looks to show up and show out once more on another premium live event when she defends against Chase U’s resident firecracker Thea Hail. Ahead of the big defense, Stratton reflects on her journey to the ‘Tiffy Top’ of Nxt. What has the transition to champion been like? Tiffany Stratton: The transition has been pretty easy. Every single week I prove myself and show everybody I am worthy of being the champion. I enjoy it a lot. What’s the state...

Match #1: Andre Chase & Duke Hudson def. Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Chase U is finally whole again and back to their winning ways as they exacted some payback against former guest professors, Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey. All four Superstars battled on the outside before the bell even rang and the action never slowed once it did. Hudson began favoring his wrist and the ruthless Dempsey took advantage by torquing it any chance he could, but when Andre Chase tagged in, it sparked the beginning of the end. Chase brought the fight to both Gulak and Dempsey and an enthusiastic Thea Hail managed to lock in a Kimura Lock on Gulak, allowing Chase and Hudson to defeat Dempsey and pick up the win.

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into the review and see what happened this week…
Match #1: Nxt North American Championship – Wes Lee def. Nathan Frazer The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt North American Champion decided to hold another Open Challenge for his title and it was nothing but pure chaos as a group of Superstars brawled at ringside until Nathan Frazer stepped up and answered it. The two men battled evenly before finding themselves precariously placed on the top rope and it was the challenger that delivered the big blow as Frazer nailed Lee with a superplex and rolled through into a twisting neckbreaker. Frazer risked it all by going for a splash to the outside, but Lee countered and the challenger fell face first onto the announce table. Lee managed to toss Frazer into the...

Match #1: Tyler Bate def. Grayson Waller The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Grayson Waller was out to prove something after losing to Bron Breakker at Nxt Vengeance Day, but he couldn’t quite overcome the Big Strong Boi. Both men were evenly matched with Bate using his innovative offense to keep the wily Waller off-balance. Still clearly focused on his backstage issues with Shawn Michaels, Waller tried mocking the Heartbreak Kid, but it backfired and nearly cost him the match. The action continued at a frenzied pace, but Waller’s attempt to use the ropes as leverage during a pin was spotted by the referee, and the momentary lapse in judgment allowed Bate to reverse it into the winning pin.
My Score: 3 out...

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. This week’s episode apparently focuses more on the women of Nxt, so let’s get into the review and see what happened…
Match #1: Tiffany Stratton def. Indi Hartwell The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The determined Indi Hartwell tried to teach the pompous Tiffany Stratton a lesson after the latter returned to Nxt just a few weeks ago. Stratton showed little ring rust, keeping Hartwell off balance with her chain wrestling. When Hartwell tried to mount a comeback, Stratton feigned a leg injury only to knock her opponent down with a forearm to the face. Stratton then finished Hartwell off with a picture-perfect moonsault.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Jd McDonagh def. Andre Chase The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Wrestling star Tiffany Stratton, real name Jessica Woynilko, is enjoying the remaining days of summer as she poses in a skimpy bikini for her social media.
The 23-year-old WWE Nxt superstar wore a tiny leopard-print bikini as she stood with one hand behind her head and the other near her hip.
Just behind her was what looked to be a massive waterfall as the backdrop, although she may have posed in front of a screen to create the unique scene.
She shared two photos in an Ig carousel post, the first featuring her looking away from the camera and the second with her staring toward the viewer.
“Summer glow,” Tiffany wrote in her post’s caption as she basks in the warm season before fall and cooler temperatures arrive.
