Is a long-standing “The Voice” curse about to be broken? If Blake Shelton‘s country singer Andrew Sevener ends up winning Season 16 during Tuesday’s finale, he’ll make history as the first artist to prevail who was previously saved by Twitter. Amazingly, since the Instant Save twist was first enacted back in Season 6, no recipient has ever gone on to win “The Voice.” Britton Buchanan came the closest in Season 14 by being the runner-up to winner Brynn Cartelli, but all of the other times — including last season with Kennedy Holmes — the saved artist finishes last in their respective finales.

According to Gold Derby’s racetrack odds, Andrew is indeed predicted to come in fourth place after earning last week’s Instant Save against Rod Stokes and Shawn Sounds.

The Top 4 artists on “The Voice” each sang three songs apiece on the two-hour finale on Monday, May 20. They performed a solo, a duet with their coach and an original tune. The goal for each of these would-be winners of season 16 is to stream the most tracks on Apple Music by Tuesday morning so that they can reap the benefit of a vote multiplier. Who do you predict will win “The Voice” on May 21?
Blake Shelton is looking for his seventh win as a coach and he has a trio of well-regarded artists in the final. The only other coach with an artist still in contention is John Legend. This newcomer to the show has been mentoring the frontrunner, Maelyn Jarmon, who is the last woman standing. The other two coaches were sidelined earlier this season, with Adam Levine losing his last artists at the Top 13 stage of the competition...

“The Voice” finale will showcase the Top 4 singing live for America’s votes on Monday, May 20. Each of the four finalists — Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener — will get three chances to sing on the two-hour show. They will do covers and original tunes as well as duet with their coaches.
In this final round of the season 16 competition, the coaches are not evenly matched. Blake Shelton, who won six of the first 15 seasons of “The Voice,” still has those three male artists in contention while rookie coach John Legend counts just the lone woman standing, Maelyn, on his team. The other two coaches — reigning two-time champ Kelly Clarkson and veteran Adam Levine — are left sitting on the sidelines.
We’ve discovered spoilers on Apple Music of the songs that the Top 4 will perform live on May 20. Take a look below at the titles of these tunes...
