Emily Reed is a 35-year-old divorcee from New Jersey with two kids who’s at a tipping point in her life when she makes the life-changing decision to move herself and her kids in with her mom. Just when she gives up on all her dreams, Emily magically wakes up the next morning in a gorgeous Soho loft lying next to an even more gorgeous naked man. And thus begins the double life of Emily Reed, where she lives each day twice — once as a divorced mother of two in suburban New Jersey, and again as a successful independent New York business woman. Exclusive: Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen’s Temple Hill Entertainment has signed a new two-year deal with ABC Studios and has hired former Entertainment One Television executive Larry Gilbert as Svp of Television. Temple Hill, which produces the hugely successful Twilight movie franchise, moved into television two years ago with a pact at ABC Studios. Its first project under the deal was a contemporary take on The Count of Monte Cristo from a female perspective written by Mike Kelley. Michael Rosenberg, Entertainment One’s Svp Original Scripted Series Programming, has been promoted to Evp U.S. Scripted Television. In his new position, Rosenberg will oversee eOne’s TV Development, Current Programming and Production department. As the Canadian company is streamlining operations to establish a U.S. outpost dedicated to serving the American TV marketplace, Rosenberg will shepherd these efforts. “My goal is to focus on seeking out high-quality projects and ideas that really resonate with Us audiences,” said Rosenberg, who will continue to be based in Los Angeles and report to eOne Television’s CEO John Morayniss.
