The cast and crew of 30 Rock have lifted the lid on the NBC comedy’s reunion special.
30 Rock: A One Time-Special, which airs tonight on NBC as well as a number of NBCUniversal’s other networks, was shot under quarantine guidelines, both outside observing health and safety protocols and in the actors’ homes.
Creator and star Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and director Oz Rodriguez spoke about the reunion as part of NBC’s “Creativity Summit,” which happened in place of the company’s traditional upfronts. They were joined by stars of the show.
“When NBC asked if we could write a reunion episode, to pinch hit for the upfronts this year so they could happen, it made sense to us because the world of 30 Rock always blended commerce and comedy,” Fey said “I would say we have a level of understanding of marketing and advertising that matches the...

When Vulture asked 30 Rock's John Lutz and Scott Adsit to have a unmoderated conversation to mark the end of 30 Rock, they gamely agreed. Here's the full transcript of their twenty-minute conversation, which took place over the phone last night while Lutz was on a train back from Philadelphia (he'd just dropped off his 30 Rock co-star and wife, Sue Galloway, and their 6-week-old son, Daniel), and Adsit was ... somewhere in New York. In it, you'll find out their favorite moments from the show, where they think their characters J.D. Lutz and Pete Hornberger might go next, and the difference between a teeter-totter and a seesaw.Scott Adsit: What’d you like to talk about? Or I could ask you why you’re in Trenton. John Lutz: Sue is with her parents, and Daniel is staying at their place for a little bit over the weekend, so I drove them down,...

One of my favorite parts of the Sundance Film Festival is the Park City at Midnight movie line-up. This is where they put on a lot of the horror, sci-fi, comedy and other genre type films. They've also announced the movies that will be a part of the Spotlight and New Frontier sections.
Once again it looks like we've got a lot of solid films to look forward to. Of course there's going to be a few duds in the mix, but for the most part this looks like it's going to be an exciting year at Sundance. I can't wait to watch these movies!
Look over the list, read about the films, and let us know which movies sound interesting to you that you'd like to more know about!

Sundance Film Festival 2013 announced its initial line-up last night, with a very promising slew of films competing in the Us and World Dramatic and Documentary categories, as always.
Tonight, we have more news from Park City, Ut, with the announcement of the films that will be screening in the Spotlight, Park City at Midnight, and New Frontier categories.
Rising young star, Alice Englert (Ginger & Rosa, Beautiful Creatures), will be heading to the festival in the Park City at Midnight category with Jeremy Lovering’s horror, In Fear, which has a very tense and promising synopsis.
Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers will be getting its long-awaited Us premiere, having debuted at Cannes earlier this year, and been earning critics’ praise ever since. Steve Oram and Alice Lowe co-wrote the film and star in the leads, and with the ever-brilliant Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), there’s...

Actress Sue Galloway has always loved Paul McCartney. So, when it came time to perform last season's live episode of 30 Rock (on which she plays Tgs French-Dutch writer Sue), she was stunned to discover that he would have a surprise cameo. She was too nervous to actually speak to him, but she suddenly found herself in a position where it was up to her to rescue him from imminent (albeit low-impact) danger. See how she saved the Beatle from harm and why it resonated with her so much in this edition of Vulture and Ucb's "Pop Culture Memory Lane."...

NBC’s 30 Rock went live this Thursday night, and the product was decidedly Saturday Night Live-lier than the sitcom’s first time flying without a net.
The framework for this live outing had Jack, Liz and 10 other characters locked in Tracy’s dressing room to (ostensibly) debate, 12 Angry Men-style, the pros and cons of Tgs no longer broadcasting live. But it was mainly Kenneth doing the talking, as he harkened back to the network’s golden age of live programs such as The Lovebirds (aka a Honeymooners rip-off), a Dean Martin-esque variety hour and a ’60s-era romp not unlike Laugh-In.

The following video is very stupid. However, the title “Sarah Jessica Parkour” fits too incredibly well for this video never to have existed, and even if both Sex And The City and Parkour are slightly past their prime reference-wise, this video is simply the internet fulfilling its Ocd obligation to make sure that a video called “Sarah Jessica Parkour” just existed at some point. It’s not unlike the same compulsive, organized pleasure as finally throwing away an old futon, or removing a dried-up scab. Also, I like that half the comments on FoD are about how the actress Sue Galloway isn’t ugly enough to play Sjp, in case you were questioning whether or not this was actually the internet: Sarah Jessica Parkour – watch more funny videos...

Hypothetically speaking, would you date "30 Rock's" Lutz?
Yeah, we didn't think so either. Especially not the Lutz as seen through the eyes of fellow "Tgs" writer Sue.
Her less-than-rosy assessment of Lutz's assets are the subject of "30 Rock's" latest "Frank vs. Lutz" webisode, which you can see here on Zap2it before its NBC.com debut. Frank (Judah Friedlander) is absent for this round, but Sue (Sue Galloway) is more than capable of putting Lutz (John Lutz) in his place.
We just hope Sue and Lutz are a little more affectionate off-camera -- Galloway and Lutz are married in real life.
The webisode is below; "30 Rock" airs at 8:30 p.m. Et Thursday (Nov. 11) on NBC.

Chicago – Time flies quickly in the world of television. Look no further than the fact that NBC’s “30 Rock” has become one of the elder statesmen of the sitcom. As new shows like “Glee” and “Modern Family” stole headlines, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin’s brilliant creation kept knocking them out of the park. It never set the ratings on fire, but there’s no denying that this is still one of the best comedies on television.
DVD Rating: 4.0/5.0
Recognizing that the program’s strength has always been in its ensemble, Universal put Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jack McBrayer, Tracy Morgan, and Jane Krakowski on the cover of the recently released fourth season. They’re all great and the latest year of “30 Rock” also included some fantastic guest appearances including Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, and James Franco. I think the show can sometimes push the revolving door of guest stars a bit too quickly,...
