Yes it’s a new Game of Thrones poster and … ewwww. But hey, that show has never, ever pulled punches, and it looks like we are being prepared for more of the same. HBO has also provided us with a press release, which gives a quick thumbnail sketch of where we are in the story, perfect for newbies and for those of us who maybe don’t remember exactly where everything was left at the end of Season 1.
Gruesome, no? If you’re going to attend WonderCon this weekend, Game of Thrones will be at Booth #438, where you can get a pic of your own head on a spike (by an FX artist, folks) which will then be loaded onto the official Game of Thrones Facebook page.
Now for the press release, with a Big Giant Warning: After the nice neat summary, the press release includes clearly marked synposes of the five April episodes.
