It’s finally come down to this, the end of World’s End. This drawn out excuse of a weekly has been going on for a good half a year and now the oversized creative crew gets to do their final send off to the book and this entire world. It’s about as disappointing as one would expect.
If there is one thing this issue does right, it’s that it finds the closest thing to a focus point in Alan Scott. It’s a very fitting choice as his narration...

I read anything and everything related to Batman. If a comic has an appearance by the Dark Knight, chances are you'll find it adorning my library shelf. Very rarely do I find any book tied to Gotham City or the Bat-Family that I don't find worthy of reading. Obviously, I've found some stories are better than others. Thankfully, Red Hood and the Outlaws Volume 2: The Starfire is an invaluable addition to my collection.
Red Hood and the Outlaws Volume 2: The Starfire collects issues 8 through 14 of the monthly series. It's made up of four different Red Hood story-arcs and a back-up tale focusing on the character Essence. The title of the book is accurate, since the focal point of most of its pages is on the alien Starfire.
Jason Todd and his Outlaws are very busy in Volume 2: The Starfire. First, they are pitted against Suzie Su and...

12 issues of a DC Comics title can mean only one thing: the anticipated annual. Superman Annual #1delivers two times the action and drama we get on a monthly basis from the Man of Steel. It's an exceptional sci-fi laced one-shot that leaves questions unanswered and plenty of opportunity for future encounters with the villain of the story.
In Superman Annual #1, our Kryptonian hero coming face to face with alien super power Helspont. The intergalactic villain comes to Earth to assassinate members of his own Daemonite which took up residence on our planet and lost sight of their original mission. At the same time, Helspont recruits special operatives to target super heroes for extermination.
Writer Fabian Nicieza does a fantastic job adapting Scott Lobdell's script to the printed page. The story is complex and engaging. He uses the extra pages of the book to reveal the back story of Helspont...

DC Comics has revealed several new solicits for the upcoming ‘Death of the Family‘ story arc which will feature the prominent return of The Joker in the New 52 universe. We last caught a glimpse of the Clown Prince of Crime in Detective Comics #1 where we were shown the graphic image of his surgically removed face. This removed piece of flesh appeared now and then in several Bat-titles since then, but The Joker himself has remained relatively unseen in the New 52 universe up to this point. All that will change when the ‘Death of the Family’ story arc kicks off in November.
Below are several solicits that will serve as both lead-ins and tie-ins for the ‘Death of the Family’ story arc.

Marvel and Electric Shepherd Productions have released the first pages anyone's seen from their comic adaptation of Philip K. Dick's short story, "Electric Ant." Yes this falls a little outside our realm of reporting. I wish it was a movie version too, but as I love Philip K. Dick I'll definitely be checking out what Marvel's done with the story.
Synopsis:
The short story is about a man who wakes from a car crash to find that he is not human, but only an "electric ant" (as in, an an organic robot). What he has always believed to be his reality is actually being fed to him through a cassette recorder embedded in his chest.
Celebrated writer David Mack (Daredevil, Kabuki) and artist Pascal Alixe (Ultimate X-Men, 1602: Fantastik Four) spearheaded the series of comics that are due on store shelves in April 2010.
