We've learned 25-year-old Khairi Fortt will star as Taylor on a June episode of "The Perfect Murder" on Investigation Discovery ... which will explore how cops helped solve Sean's tragic 2007 home invasion murder. The show is a combination of real-life interviews with investigators and family members, and scenes dramatizing the actual events.

Leonard Roberts has been cast in VH1‘s Drumline 2: A New Beat, co-written by Karen Gist and Regina Hicks. The sequel to the 2002 feature Drumline feature focuses on a new set of characters at a fictional New Orleans university. The story follows Danielle (Dani) Bolton, an upper-class Brooklyn girl who defies her parents in order to attend a college in Louisiana so she can join – and revitalize – their once-prominent drumline. Ralph Remington has been named the new western regional director and assistant executive director for Actors' Equity Association. "We're thrilled to welcome Ralph Remington to the Equity family as part of the leadership team," Equity Executive Director Mary McColl said in a written statement. The deceased NFL player’s heartbreaking murder case has finally come to a close, after his killer, Eric, was convicted of second-degree murder on Nov. 4 in a Miami courtroom.
A Florida jury decided the fate of Eric Rivera, deliberating over 4 days. They finally convicted him of second-degree murder and armed burglary for the 2007 home invasion and death of Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor.

Eric was convicted of second-degree murder for killing the NFL player with a gunshot wound during a home invasion.
He originally confessed to police that he was the one that shot Taylor, since a group of four men burglarized Sean’s home. Once Eric took the witness stand, though, he said investigators made him confess to the murder and stated that one of the other burglars shot Sean.
Eric is just one of the four men charged with murder and burglary.

Sean Taylor has joined Actors' Equity Association as Central regional director/assistant executive director. Taylor had served as house council for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists since 2004, and remained a member of the union's staff following its merger last year with Screen Actors Guild. “We are thrilled to have Sean Taylor join the Equity family,” Equity Executive Director Mary McColl said in a written statement. “His extensive union experience, coupled with a legal career with deep professional roots in the Chicago-area make him the ideal leader for the region.” Taylor will oversee Equity's operations in 16 states. He succeeds Christine Provost, who left the union in August.

Brand activation shop OgilvyAction will lead the business, with help from sibling Stw Group companies Badjar Ogilvy, production agency One20, Dt and Ikon.
Ogilvy replaces incumbent Admark.
Ego’s marketing manager Derek Murphy said: “Ego Pharmaceuticals is a proudly family owned Australian company, which has grown rapidly since its beginnings 60 years ago. Our many brands, such as Qv, have great stories to tell. As a result, we felt it was vitally important to find the right agency partner, with the right skills set, to help us tell these great brand stories through the right channels.”

Last week it was all about the 2012 BAFTA Film Awards, and now sees our attention turn to gaming with the announcement of the nominees for the BAFTA Video Game Awards 2012. We were there last year and hope to be covering it again this year. But in the meantime here’s the full list of nominees, featuring the cream of the crop of video gaming.
Personally I hope Uncharted 3 sweeps the board in all the categories its nominated in, and – being a Mario fan – I hope Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 pick up awards… although Dead Space iOS could give them a run for the money in the handheld categories!

N.E.R.D star Shay Haley has married the former girlfriend of murdered American footballer Sean Taylor. The musician walked down the aisle with Jackie Mofett, the niece of actor Andy Garcia, in Miami, Florida on Saturday, November 13.
Haley's bandmate Pharrell Williams was the best man at the ceremony, according to TMZ, while R&B star Chris Brown performed at the nuptials.
The happy day comes three years after Garcia's then-partner Taylor was shot by thieves at his home in Florida. He later died in hospital.
