That Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 exists at all is enough to give those unfamiliar with the franchise a throbbing headache. It's the downloadable sequel to the 2008 remake of the 1988 Nes platformer that never got a sequel in the first place, but entirely unrelated to the other 2009 Bionic Commando title that went to retail. Though the original was never massively popular or successful, it was fondly remembered for its banishment of the "jump" button and the way it forced players to exclusively use Nathan Spencer's bionic arm to navigate the warpath towards his end-goal: assassinating Hitler (depending on...

After a ten year lapse, the "Marvel Vs. Capcom" franchise has returned with a new game, "Fate of Two Worlds," and a new lineup. Although "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3" only has about half of the characters that its predecessor had, there's still a lot of variety and newcomers on both the Marvel and Capcom sides, which means that there's a whole lot of new moves to learn.
To help you out, we've put together this handy move guide for the characters in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3," complete with all of their special moves and hyper combos. While things may not have changed too much for Chun-Li and Ryu, even veteran fans will have new moves to master (particularly the extensive combos for Dante and She-Hulk).
Note: We'll be adding the remaining characters as the game gets closer to release.

While Capcom's console version of "Bionic Commando" crashed and burned like a player discovering for the first time that the original game doesn't allow jumping, the downloadable release of "Bionic Commando Rearmed," an HD remake of that original game, was a smashing success. A sequel was a no-brainer, and now it's got a release date: February 2.
The big evolution in "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2" is the addition of Nathan Spencer's pornstar moustache. Wait, no. That's not right. Jumping. That's the new feature. The gaming equivalent of the wheel, making your character jump, is being added to the fun in "Rearmed 2."
I have to ask now: will the added element of jumping in some way damage the experience for you longtime fans? "Bionic Commando" offered jumping, but that game was a mess for numerous reasons. Part of the allure of the original Nes game was the restriction placed on controlling your character.

Marvel and Capcom both packed character announcements into their panels at New York Comic Con over the the weekend, and the 30-plus fighters we can plan on seeing in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" before March 31, 2011 just came into focus a bit more. M.O.D.O.K., Magneto, Nathan Spencer of "Bionic Commando" and Sir Arthur of "Ghosts 'n Goblins" fame all appeared in new screenshots and video clips, and their attacks are looking as combo-rific as ever.
In case you're not already familiar with M.O.D.O.K., the letters in his name stand for "Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing," which will make a lot of sense when you hear him using words like murder and kill witch unbridled enthusiasm. The big-headed fellow packs a huge arsenal of weapons tech, and has a propulsion system built in down below.
Arthur, meanwhile, wields some medieval weaponry and magic to hold off his foes,...

Update: Nope! Seems the list we have below is not going to pan out, as Famitsu is reporting that Silver Surfer has been confirmed for the game (thanks @evophile), and if one person on the list is missing, it's likely the rest of it is inaccurate, as well. Sorry, we got excited.
[Spoiler Alert: If you're hoping to be surprised by the character roster in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3," you may want to stop reading now.]
We already knew who quite a few of the fighters in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" were, and we've seen trailers of several of them in action. A leaked list may have filled in on the blanks, however, including Wolverine's petite femme counterpart X-23 and Mike Haggar of "Final Fight," among others.
The rosters showed up on the German site Playfront.de (hat tip to Destructoid), and if they're for real, this is who will be showing up to represent their respective companies:
Marvel
Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Mr. Fantastic, Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine, Elektra, Thor, X-23, Magneto, Dr.
