Daniel Ehrenberg

Daniel is a Bonn- and Berlin-based producer with more than twenty-five years of experience in the industry. He started out as set manager and assistant director on numerous film and TV productions. After graduating from Hamburg University with an MA in Film Studies, History and Political Science, he started his producing career at Warner Bros. Pictures Germany before joining the independent production company Egoli Tossell Film in 2010. Eight years later, Daniel launched Eyrie Entertainment, a vibrant production company that focuses on crossover and art house films from exciting and diverse new talent.
Daniel's producer credits include Peter Chelsom's globe-trotting, feel-good-movie "Hector and the Search for Happiness", starring Simon Pegg, Rosamund Pike and Christopher Plummer; Sinan Akkus' culture-clash comedy "3 Turks and a Baby" as well as "Germany in a Day", Sönke Wortmann's take on Ridley Scott's much acclaimed "...in a Day"-format. Most recently, Daniel produced the family adventure drama "The Path", directed by Tobias Wiemann which among other awards won the German Film Award for Best Children's Film, the German Film Critics' Award and the City of Malmö Children's Film Award at BUFF Malmö. Daniel also co-produced the Romanian-German co-production "Clara", directed by Sabin Dorohoi, which will premiere at FilmFestival Cottbus in November 2023.
Daniel is a graduate of the EAVE Producer's Workshop, a member of the German Film Academy and a member of the German Producers Association.
