He continued, “We had Kristen Wiig in picking up a few lines the other day, and I think we’ve all become desensitized to it because we’ll just be like, ‘Roll the scene!’, and then she was like, ‘Oh my God?! This is insane!'”

Hold on to your buns, because "Sausage Party" is back! Prime Video has announced an order for a new animated series called "Sausage Party: Foodtopia," based on the feature of the same name featuring anthropomorphic foodstuffs in a grocery store with foul mouths, big dreams, and sex drives rivaling a teenager discovering internet tube sites for the first time. We called the film "raunchy, raw, and one of the most outrageous, funniest movies of the year," in our review back in 2016, and we definitely weren't alone. Not only was "Sausage Party" the first 3D computer-animated film to be rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America, but it became the highest-grossing R-rated animated film until it was surpassed by "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" in 2020. The film was so extreme, it had to be heavily edited to avoid an Nc-17 rating, which only added to the film's mystique.

Seth Rogen has spoken out about his experience as part of the cast of Steven Spielberg’s Toronto Film Festival-bound The Fabelmans.
The actor shares in an upcoming edition of The Process that he wrapped his role in the film, loosely based on the iconic filmmaker’s childhood and upbringing, toward the end of last year. “It was really cool. It was fascinating. It was a really surreal experience for everyone involved,” Rogen said of the film, which has him playing a character inspired by Spielberg’s uncle. “It premieres at Toronto. In conversation with Pam & Tommy editor Tatiana S. Riegel for Deadline’s video series, Rogen also addressed his “immense” relief in seeing Lily James excel in her transformational turn as the Hulu series’ Pamela Anderson.

It was fascinating. It was a really surreal experience for everyone involved,” Rogen said of the film, which has him playing a character inspired by Spielberg’s uncle. “It premieres at Toronto. I’ve literally not seen one frame of it, so it’ll be a bizarre experience.”
In conversation with Pam & Tommy editor Tatiana S. Riegel for Deadline’s video series, Rogen also addressed his “immense” relief in seeing Lily James excel in her transformational turn as the Hulu series’ Pamela Anderson.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan shared a new image related to his upcoming part in Hulu’s limited series Pam & Tommy. In it Stan, who plays Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee opposite James’ Pamela Anderson, poses in character wearing just shorts, shoes and an apron emblazoned with the words “Kiss the Cook,” with the hashtag “Sunday” appended.
The photo is similar to many shirtless, in character poses the actor has posted in recent weeks, but his one seemed a bit more appropriate to a BBQ-filled holiday weekend.

A post shared by Sebastian Stan (@imsebastianstan)
The post was liked by co-star Seth Rogen as well as Drake Doremus — who directed Stan in Endings — Beginnings and producer Simon Kinberg.
Hulu previously released several photos of Stan and co-star Lily James that recalled famous images of Lee and Anderson. You can see those here.

Courtney Love is definitely not onboard with “Pam & Tommy,” Hulu’s upcoming series telling the story of Love’s longtime friends Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. In fact, Love is putting Lily James — who will star as Anderson — on blast for being part of the project at all.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Love voiced her disgust for the project, saying that it is capitalizing on a particularly traumatic event in Pamela Anderson’s life. According to her post, the project seemingly came to Love’s attention when she was asked to approve the use of a “Rolling Stone” cover she posed for.
“I find this so f—ing outrageous . When Pam / tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in la,” Love wrote. “Where all / All! The staff engineers / producers / owners / were watching the sex...

Nope, you haven’t traveled back to 1995. The first look at Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in “Pam & Tommy” is here.
The Hulu limited series will be a comedic take on the drama surrounding the world’s first viral video: Pam and Tommy’s infamous sex tape. In addition to James and Stan, the series also stars Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese, and Mozhan Marnò. Rogen will play Rand Gauthier, the man who stole and sold the tape.
The casting news raised some eyebrows initially but the new pics from the set have the internet seeing Stan and James in a totally different (and decidedly grungier) light. Check them out below.

Despite their spitting images, the real Lee and Anderson are not involved with the project.

Written and executive produced by Rob Siegel and Dv DeVincentis, the eight-episode comedic limited series tells the true story of the release of the first-ever viral video in history — the sex tape of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

The leaked VHS tape turned into quite the legal dispute, with Anderson suing the video distribution company Internet Entertainment Group. Ultimately, the Lees entered into a confidential settlement deal with Ieg. Thereafter, the company began making the tape available to subscribers to its websites again,...

Fans of Disney’s Darkwing Duck might be headed for a Crisis on Infinite Darkwings. A reboot of the beloved ’90s animated series is in the early stages of development for Disney Plus, with Alex McAtee of Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures overseeing the project (via Variety.)
But wait, didn’t they already reboot Darkwing Duck recently? In the modern series of DuckTales, the character of Darkwing was slowly introduced over the shows three seasons before recently getting his own special episode, ‘Let’s Get Dangerous!’ This episode introduced a rebooted version of original Darkwing Duck character Gosalyn Mallard and set the stage for more adventures featuring the two alongside DuckTales main cast member Launchpad.
So is this new reboot in development a spinoff of what we’ve already seen in the new DuckTales, or is it a whole new version of Darkwing Duck? At present we aren’t sure.

WarnerMedia announced a one-two punch of HBO Max news on Monday. The upcoming streaming service has acquired the worldwide rights to the Seth Rogen-led “An American Pickle” comedy feature and WarnerMedia also completed a distribution deal with Apple to make HBO Max available on Apple devices.
HBO Max’s “An American Pickle” pickup from Sony Pictures was done to ensure the film’s release will not be delayed due to the nation’s widespread and indefinite theater closures. Though WarnerMedia plans on releasing the film, based on a short 2013 story by Simon Rich, on HBO Max in 2020, a specific release date is undetermined.
Per WarnerMedia, “An American Pickle” stars Rogen as Herschel Greenbaum, a struggling laborer who immigrates to America in 1920 with dreams of building a better life for his beloved family. One day, while working at his factory job, he falls into a vat of pickles and is brined for 100 years.

Deadline has confirmed that the Seth Rogen/Point Grey Pictures comedy An American Pickle is heading to HBO Max. I’m informed that a release date for the movie is still Tbd even though the service is launching on May 27.
WarnerMedia has taken global rights to the feature which stars Rogen in dual roles from Sony. The Culver City studio was set to open the feature later this year, but they’ve moved a large number of pics on their feature slate to 2021. In the wake of exhibition’s shutdown out of safety for Covid-19, a number of smaller-mid sized films are segueing to streaming with theatrical distributors selling them off, i.e. Stx’s My Spy to Amazon, and Paramount/Mrc’s Lovebirds to Netflix.
