For most, Halloween is more of a state of mind than a holiday, but for those too shy to celebrate, a fun way to feel the thrill of Oct. 31 might be through TV’s favorite characters. What is Halloween without Ted Mosby’s Slutty Pumpkin or trick-or-treating with the Belchers?
Whether it’s seeking some pop culture costume inspiration or seeing your faves partake in particularly spooky behavior, here are the must-watch Halloween episodes available for streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon.

What it’s about: Liz and Jack go to Stone Mountain, Georgia, to search for new talent in “middle America.” Meanwhile, Jenna is trying to suck up to the writers so they take care of her when the new cast member comes, and the writers are focused on throwing their annual Halloween party.

Chris Rock has lined up a cast for his third writer-directorial effort, Finally Famous. As previously reported, the film concerns a comedian-turned-movie star who decides to take a turn into serious acting. It is not explicitly based on Rock's real life, though he hasn't said it's not based on Tracey Jordan's attempt to Egot. Exhibit A is the presence of Jordan's TV wife Sherri Shepherd, who plays Rock's still-interested high school girlfriend. Rock has also cast Gabrielle Union as his reality-show-starring fiancee—possibly named Feyonce, though that's unconfirmed as of press time—Rosario ...

If you fancy a taste of the unique persona that is Tracy Morgan, a character not quite but almost identical to his role of Tracey Jordan on '30 Rock', he's on his way to you.
Morgan has decided to bring his distinct form of stand-up to the UK, a place he's never been, but somewhere he tells HuffPostUK he can't wait to visit...
"I want to have a unique experience," he booms down the phone to me. "I'm bringing my family and we're going to have a blast."
Tracy Morgan will be bringing his distinct voice to the UK in October
Morgan's ideas of a blast don't always correspond with those of his audience - his trip to Melbourne Comedy Festival a couple of months ago ended up polarising audiences. But Morgan's not about to change for no man...

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(Warning: Significant spoilers follow!)
This week sees the continuation of what’s likely to be the ongoing story arc for this season: Jack (Alec Baldwin) and Liz (Tina Fey) trying to tank NBC by programming some of the worst TV imaginable. This includes things like Liz telling the writing staff that there are no bad ideas and then putting pretty much everything they suggest on TV (ie: Black Hitler going to a restaurant).
This plan is, at this point, going well, and ratings are in the toilet. Jack is encouraged by this and tells Liz not to do anything political, because political stuff gets ratings. Then something horrible happens. Paul Ryan (Romney’s vice-presidential choice, for you overseas folks), drops out of the race because he was, apparently, born in Kenya. Romney’s new VP choice is the governor of Alabama, who looks and acts exactly...

Reagan and Chris were quite the suburban stalkers as they monitored the new couple across the street in "Cool Neighbors."
Their neighborhood watch was full of funny moments, such as when Chris thought they were safely hidden behind the glare on the window. The show's writers definitely have a great grasp on the funny quirks of parenthood. Case in point: having to associate with couples you don't like in order to secure play dates for your children.
Christina Applegate and Will Arnett have good chemistry and continued to show it this week while updating their Facebook pages and reminiscing about their times at Daytona Beach. Chris' cringe factor, while intentionally scripted, was almost too high at times with lines like "Peace In the Middle East," but I did laugh when he called the neighbor "mate" and again when he excitedly fit into his Pre-Amy jeans.

A wise man once said "Live every week like it's shark week." That wise man was Tracey Jordan from 30 Rock, but the advice remains true and poignant.
Andy Samberg will host Shark Week
Top Five Sharks in Film
Shark Week starts July 31st and will be hosted by Andy Samberg. Obviously it will involve sharks, teeth, and water and such. But the real news is that they use Lady Gaga's "Teeth." It's pretty amazing, the video is posted for you to enjoy.

Best Week Ever has cracked the hilarity code to the show 30 Rock: The more Tracey Jordan (Tracy Morgan) appears, the funnier the episode is. This is a watertight theory, as last night’s “Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning” episode was rich with Tracy moments, therefore one of the best of the season. Enough words. There is really only one reason we’re all here. To relive Tracy singing his sentences to the tune of Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl” in an effort to thwart the reality tv crew following him around from using it in the show. Music rights and whatnot. These :33 seconds have legit convinced me that the real Tracy Morgan will one day join the ranks of Audrey Hepburn, Liza and Whoopi Goldberg as a real EGOTter. VH1 TV Shows | Music Videos | Celebrity Photos | News & Gossip I’ve watched it 78 times. Bye.

Ailing singer Aretha Franklin has returned to her home in Detroit, Michigan after undergoing surgery and is recovering with the help of her family and a private nurse. The music legend had "successful" surgery at a hospital in Detroit last week to treat an undisclosed ailment.
Subsequent reports suggested Franklin, 68, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - although relatives have refused to confirm the nature of the star's illness. However, Franklin's publicist Tracey Jordan confirms the Queen of Soul was released from hospital earlier this week and is in "great spirits".
And Franklin has released her own statement to assure fans she is being well looked after - and she is already making plans for the holidays. She says, "I've been at home for almost three days now. My family and friends who brought me home are taking great care of me."
"I also have a private nurse who visits on a daily basis.

Say a little prayer for Aretha Franklin? Done and done. The Queen of Soul is set to undergo a medical procedure sometime today, but her rep Tracey Jordan (no, not that one…if only) is keeping mum on what, exactly, the procedure will entail. The lack of info didn't seem to bother her fans in Detroit, who last night gathered downtown to hold a community prayer vigil for the ailing 68-year-old singer. "All prayers are good," Franklin said in response to news of the gathering. The legendary singer first revealed her health problem last month, when she announced that doctors ordered her to cancel all planned concerts and appearances through May in order to deal with her mystery ...

Something is ailing Aretha Franklin, but her people are keeping her health condition on lockdown. The Queen of Soul has scrapped six months' worth of concerts and personal appearances on doctors' orders after she was briefly hospitalized in her hometown of Detroit over the weekend for a mystery illness. Her publicist, Tracey Jordan, declined to specify Franklin's Malady, but said the 68-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is now "resting comfortably" at home. Aretha is "very anxious to get back on the road to perform for her fans," the rep said in a statement. "The award-winning songstress sends her sincerest apologies to her loyal followers and colleagues for the cancelled...

Aretha Franklin has cancelled all work commitments for the next six months. The 68-year-old soul legend will not perform or make any personal appearances until May 2011, her spokeswoman confirmed, adding that doctors "have required her to do so". Earlier this week, publicist Tracey Jordan announced that Franklin had spent a brief time in hospital, but would not confirm any details (more)...

Wow. I can’t believe 30 Rock is entering its fifth season already. I feel like I was just watching the first season yesterday. I remember being excited and intrigued for this new show that Tina Fey was leaving Saturday Night Live to do with Alec Baldwin, and over these first four seasons, I’ve been amazed at how well written and acted the show has been. I’ve been a huge Fey fan since her SNL days, and have followed her from Mean Girls to 30 Rock and every place in between.
It first came to my attention when researching the title of this episode that this was, in fact, the start of the fifth season, and then the notion again occurred to me when they referenced it in the episode itself. The fifth season is normally landmarked by the 100th episode, which translates to syndication rights, so the fact that...

hollywoodnews.com: A great New York night: the Friars Club took over the Waldorf Astoria main ballroom and toasted Motown’s Smokey Robinson and Steiner Studios founder David Steiner.
Steiner probably drew the big donor crowd, which was fine. He’s a lovely guy. But it was Smokey who brought the music. The Supremes’ Mary Wilson, a glamorous and stunning 66 years young, paid tribute by bringing the house down with “I Am Changing” from Dreamgirls, Norah Jones’s “Don’t Know Why,” and invited the audience on stage for a singalong on “Stop! In the Name of Love.”
The Temptations–all new members along with founder Otis Williams–performed songs Smokey wrote for the group during their heyday including (my all time favorite) “Since I Lost My Baby.” Paul Shaffer described Robinson’s “My Girl” as the greatest pop composition ever from the rock era. Well, it...

Every once in a while, our American cousins create a comedy series so original, so refreshing, that it makes you sit back and wonder how such an intelligent country could also be the home of Hillbillies and George W. Bush. America gave us Frasier, they gave us Friends, hell they even gave us Will & Grace, and more recently they also gave us 30 Rock.
