With 25 seasons under its belt, The Voice has seen its fair share of coaching rotations, especially because multiple seasons of the singing competition show air per year. It took American Idol twice the amount of time to reach 20 seasons, but so far, those two singing competition shows haven’t overlapped in terms of judges and coaches. The original four figures to shape the show’s trajectory were country singer Blake Shelton, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, “Fighter” singer Christina Aguilera and “Forget You” singer CeeLo Green.
Other celebrities with music backgrounds have cycled through the four red spinning chairs since the show began in 2011. The singers who have judged have also covered a wide range of genres from pop to country to rap and more.
Season 26’s panel has been established as Reba McEntire, who has been with the show since Season 24, veteran coach Gwen Stefani and newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.

NBC is sticking with The Voice for another season. The network officially renewed the singing competition series for season 26 in May, and now it has announced that season 27 will air in spring 2025. An almost entirely different panel will be sitting in the red rotating chairs for season 27.
Adam Levine, who served as a coach for the show's initial 16 seasons, will return for the 27th season and will be joined by new coach Kelsea Ballerini, season 26 coach Michael Buble, and nine-time coach John Legend.

The Voice dropped some big news for avid fans of the hit singing competition show.
Over the years, some pretty great judges have been appointed, including Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Blake Shelton, and, most recently, Reba McEntire.
However, one of the original coaches who launched The Voice over a decade ago is back to reclaim his chair and another win in the books.
No, we aren’t talking about Cee Lo Green, though that would be an exciting twist for future show seasons.
Adam Levine will return to the stage and his rightful spot in the coach’s chair for the blind auditions next spring.
That’s right. After revealing he was leaving the show for good and would not come back for future seasons, Adam is returning to the show he helped launch over a decade ago.

Well, well, well. We certainly didn’t have “Adam Levine returns to ‘The Voice'” on our Bingo card. Did you?
Levine, one-fourth of the original “Voice” U.S. coaching panel, is set to return to his big red chair … but there’s a catch. He won’t appear in Season 26, due out in Fall 2024. Instead, he will return in Season 27, scheduled for Spring 2025.
See Carson Daly (‘The Voice’ host and producer) on longevity, Emmys and succeeding ‘in a post-Blake Shelton world’
The Maroon 5 front-man was part of the iconic Season 1 coaching panel on NBC with Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green. Levine left the show after 16 seasons, though he later popped up to taunt his “frenemy” Shelton, who remained in his chair until the end of Season 23.
Levine’s departure in 2019 caught everyone off-guard as he was expected to return to the judging panel in the following cycle.

NBC’s The Voice Season 25 carries on without Blake Shelton. Shelton quit The Voice after season 23 to spend more time at home with his wife, Gwen Stefani, and her three boys. So, does this mean Shelton’s off the show forever? Here’s what he said about the circumstances that could make him change his mind.
Blake Shelton says he’d consider returning to ‘The Voice’ with these 4 coaches
Blake Shelton was one of the first coaches ever to participate in NBC’s The Voice. In April, Blake Shelton said the only way he’d ever return to The Voice is if he could do so alongside his fellow Og coaches, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Christina Aguilera. Well, that is happening (sort of) for the upcoming Season 25 finale! As announced by NBC, Shelton will make his return to the singing competition series for the Season 25 finale on Tuesday, May 21, as part of a celebration of 25 seasons. The country star, who served as a coach for 13 years from Season 1 to Season 23, will be joined by two of his Og coaches, Green and Levine, as well as fellow coach alums Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, and Shelton’s wife, pop superstar Gwen Stefani. Aguilera is the only one from the original Voice coaching lineup not currently scheduled to appear for the live celebration. “If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again,...

The Voice fans agree that the long-running singing competition hasn’t quite been the same since Blake Shelton hung it up and decided to retire as a judge. According to a source close to Blake, he would consider coming out of retirement under two strict conditions. So, what are they?
The Voice: Blake Shelton Was An Original Judge On The Show
Blake Shelton was part of the original lineup of The Voice judges when the show first premiered. It was NBC’s answer to American Idol, and they brought the star power to the judging panel. This is a trend that has continued in all of the seasons since.
When one industry heavy-hitter leaves The Voice judging panel, they are replaced by another judge who is at the top of their game. So, in that sense, there are no losers, because, you can always count on a high-caliber celeb...

Undeniably, Blake Shelton prides himself in being a mainstay on the popular show The Voice. After his longtime tenure, he compares himself to Wheel Of Fortune host, Pat Sajak. Additionally, he teases a possible comeback for the show.
Blake Shelton Is A Legend For The Voice
In 2023, Blake Shelton left The Voice fans in shock by leaving abruptly. Unmistakably, he had been a staple of the show since its start. After 23 back-to-back seasons, Blake admitted he needed a break. While Blake was a fixture on the show since its first season in 2011, he knew it was time to do something else. Gwen Stefani has coached many talented competitors on the reality competition series The Voice. But a point was made that The Voice hasn’t really launched the careers of its top winners like other similar reality shows. Stefani offered her own theory as to why that was the case.

Like American Idol, The Voice gave aspiring singers a chance at superstardom. But there were a few key differences between American Idol and The Voice other than their judging practices. American Idol contestants and winners had a history of achieving great success in the music industry, from Kelly Clarkson to Jennifer Hudson.
But winners on The Voice haven’t really reached the same heights that their American Idol counterparts have. This pattern was noticed, not only by fans of the series, but by industry professionals as well.

The Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, also known as “the Oscars of Science,” is an awards show unlike any other.
Founded and funded by Silicon Valley titan Yuri Milner and his artist wife Julia Milner, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative co-founder Priscilla Chan, the Breakthrough Prize recognizes “scientists changing the world” with award statuettes and sizable cash prizes. And on Saturday night, at the ceremony’s 10th edition — the second in a row held on the roof of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, with the Hollywood Hills glistening in the background — presenters, performers and audience members included a collection of A-listers that could give the Oscars a run for their money.
One could turn left and spot Bill Gates and Robert Downey Jr. sitting at the same table, or right and find tablemates Bradley Cooper and Rupert Murdoch schmoozing.

Adam Levine is sharing his reaction to seeing Mick Jagger dancing to Maroon 5’s hit 2011 song “Moves Like Jagger.”
The Maroon 5 frontman made a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he said it was “really surreal” seeing the video that Jagger posted on Instagram in March.
“It’s just one of those things you’re like, ‘Oh my, like how is this possible? What is happening? It’s bizarre,'” Levine said.
In the social media video, The Rolling Stones lead singer appeared to be at a bar or restaurant when a band started to play a cover of “Moves Like Jagger,” leading the legendary musician to groove to the tunes. “Moves like who,” Jagger captioned the post, crediting the band named Splash for their rendition of the track.
