“Hockey players don’t make excuses.” That’s how the trailer for Season 3 of Letterkenny‘s Sudbury-based spinoff Shoresy starts off. And this third outing will really test that theory for the men’s Senior Aaa hockey team, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, as they compete in the National Senior Tournament. The quick-thinking Hulu comedy is led by series creator Jared Keeso as the foul-mouthed hockey captain and “dirtiest player of all time,” Shoresy. Over the past two seasons, we’ve seen a lot of growth from the original Letterkenny character who wasn’t shown onscreen — except for his ankles poking out from underneath the doors a bathroom stall while he waxed poetic about *insert nasty and rude thing here*. Now, Shoresy’s diverse foster family, his desire to settle down with one particular lady and his demand that all his players always call their parents has rounded out the...

As the curtains close on Hulu’s long-running comedy gem, “Letterkenny,” the final season proves to be a masterful conclusion to a twelve-season journey filled with wit, humor, and heart. Creator and star Jared Keeso, along with the talented ensemble cast, bid farewell in a way that pays homage to the series’ roots while delivering the closure fans have been anticipating.
The strength of “Letterkenny” has always rested on its unique blend of sharp dialogue, quirky characters, and the charming setting of a small Canadian town. The final season seamlessly encapsulates these elements, offering viewers a nostalgic trip through the hilarious and endearing lives of its beloved characters.
One of the standout features of this concluding chapter is its ability to provide closure without sacrificing the show’s signature humor. Keeso navigates the delicate balance of tying up loose ends while still delivering the quick-witted banter that fans have come to cherish.

After 74 episodes, with seven specials, five live tours and branded merchandise and beverages, the final six-pack of episodes for the Canadian TV show Letterkenny aired on the Canadian streaming service Crave on December 25 and Hulu on December 26.
One of the most remarkable achievements of Letterkenny is how it managed to transcend into mainstream pop culture, with a dedicated fanbase across the United States.
In conversation with uInterview founder Erik Meers, actor Trevor Wilson reflected on the years on set and the lessons he learned and felt he had promoted through his role as Squirrely Dan.
Creator Jared Keeso had initially written Squirrely Dan’s role for his 19-2 co-star Dan Petronijevic, but due to Petronijevic’s commitment to Suicide Squad at the time, Wilson stepped in. His fresh take on the character soon became a fan favorite.

How are you now? It’s the end of an era for the cast of Letterkenny, a beloved Canadian sitcom focusing on the hicks, skids, hockey players, and degens of rural Ontario. Created by Jared Keeso and developed by Keeso and Jacob Tierney, Letterkenny might as well be required viewing for Canadian citizens. For 12 seasons, the cast of Letterkenny have fast-talked their way through an astonishing amount of social commentary, rolled up their sleeves for epic scraps, and delivered many of the best hockey chirps you’ll ever hear. The show is populated by unforgettable characters who, throughout the series, form unlikely friendships with locals who push the boundaries of what it means to be part of a community.

How’r ya now? The long-running Canadian comedy Letterkenny called it quits after 12 seasons, but before they closed the barn doors in December 2023, fans were given a musical parting gift. In the final season’s second episode, the Skids — with help from the Hicks and A.I. — release their own country music video for their engineered song, “Sun Darts.” According to mastermind Stewart (Tyler Johnston), every hit country single has two essential things: a unique hook/song title (“Sun Darts”), and “as much hick s**t as possible.” The result? An over-the-top smorgasbord of fun-loving country iconography. Everyone’s drinking a Puppers Golden Lager (the series’ own light beer). The “toughest guy in Letterkenny” Wayne (played by creator Jared Keeso) and Stewart arm wrestle while the good-looking women of Letterkenny cheer in spaghetti strap tank tops — alongside the Skids, like Roald (Evan Stern), of course. There’s wood chopping, Katy (Michelle Mylett...

There’s no tougher episode of television to produce than the series finale. Sure, the pilot sets the tone and the second season can suffer from that dreaded sophomore slump. But once you decide to end a show, there’s a lot of pressure. It is, after all, a creator’s final word on the subject.
Great series finales give the audience closure but include subtle nods from the past for its fanbase. They service their major characters but dole out a sense of finality, and they leave you feeling just a bit better for having spent time in that world. Given all that, wrapping Hulu’s Letterkenny after 12 seasons, a handful of specials, its own line of beer, and a live tour was no small feat. But it was necessary for creator and star Jared Keeso, who felt that he had mined all the stories these characters had to tell.

No one knew how many difficulties existed in the fictional town of Letterkenny when the show revolving around small-town hicks, hockey players and skids launched on Super Bowl Sunday 2016. As it turns out, there were enough “Letterkenny Problems” not only to change the lives of all those involved, but to transform the Canadian TV landscape.
When “Letterkenny” cracks open its final six-pack of episodes Dec. 25 on the Canadian streaming service Crave (and on Dec. 26 on Hulu), it ends an era that includes 74 episodes, seven specials, five live tours, branded clothing and booze, Canadian Screen Awards victories, and a spinoff, “Shoresy,” which wraps filming on its third season in Sudbury, Ont. this month.
The most impressive feat, however, may be in how a show with such specificity, from the vernacular to the sets, catapulted into mainstream pop culture and amassed loyal fanbases across Canada and the U.S.

Who’s ready for one final round of cleverly verbose cold opens, behind-the-barn brawls, Canada gooses taking Canada deuces, spontaneous Industrial breakdancing, and Puppers poured right from the tap? Letterkenny is ending, and the Ontario-based gang plans to go out with a bang! The twelfth and final season of Letterkenny lands all at once on December 26, so you can binge the six-episode finale as you please.
Here’s the official synopsis for Letterkenny Season 12 courtesy of Hulu:
The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. Shoresy is finally back with its second season and after watching the whole series I can confidently say, that the creator and star of the series Jared Keeso has knocked it out of the park once again.
The first season of the Hulu original series ended with a promise that our favorite Senior A Whaleshit Hockey team Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs will never lose again and the new season starts by delivering that promise. With the team on a winning streak and just a few games away from being the best Hockey team ever.
In the new season, we see our players on an all-time high but Shoresy still has the feeling that if they don’t buck up and stop getting distracted they might lose out on being the best team ever. This is the whole premise of the latest season of the Letterkenny spin-off series.

Letterkenny which first hit TV screens in 2016, paints a hilarious picture of a Canadian small-town life filled with interesting characters and iconic catchphrases. The show stars Jared Keeso, Michelle Mylett, and Dylan Playfair, among others. But that’s not where we can put a pause on Keeso’s brilliance. As the creative brain behind both Letterkenny and Shoresy, he wears multiple hats. He’s the man you see on screen in Letterkenny, he’s the genius crafting the stories behind...

Hoping, wishing, and praying that Hulu is going to deliver a second season of the "Letterkenny" spin-off, "Shoresy?" Good, Cause you're Goin! As was just announced today by the streaming platform, Shoresy, Sanguinet, Nat, JJ Frankie JJ, The Jims, and all the rest of the Sudbury crew are coming back for another six episodes. The character of Shoresy was first introduced as the faceless, foul-mouthed, chirping nemesis of hockey players Reilly and Jonesy, typically seen leaving king cobra coils in the locker room bathroom while bragging about boning their moms.
When the spin-off series was first announced, fans were excited for more stories in the "Letterkenny" world but were perplexed trying to imagine what a "Shoresy" show would even look like. After all, he's the most insufferable character in all of Letterkenny, and since he's played by Jared Keeso, who also stars as Wayne, how would they differentiate between the...

Pitter-patter, let's get at 'er, because the Canadian comedy series "Letterkenny" is back for its 11th season. What started out as a YouTube web series called "Letterkenny Problems" has since grown into one of the funniest and most popular shows on TV, following the residents of Letterkenny, a fictional rural town in Ontario based on show creator Jared Keeso's hometown.
The residents of the small community fall under three major groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, but all three are ready for a brew, a brawl, or a beaut at any given opportunity. Whether it's chorin', sharing a Puppers with your best bud, or trading fisticuffs, the residents of "Letterkenny" do it faster, tougher, and with snappier wit than anyone else on the planet. With the return of the show just around the corner, here's everything you big shoots need to know to prepare, and more.

Get this guy a Puppers, eh? Initially, it didn’t feel as though Shoresy would do much for Jared Keeso and those that came with him to put up this Letterkenny spinoff, but upon watching the show it became kind of obvious that such a sentiment wasn’t correct in the least bit. Those that have watched Letterkenny up to this point obviously already know of Shoresy, the foul-mouthed hockey player that spends almost as much time on the toilet as he does on the ice, and is one of the dirtiest players to ever lace up his skates. Thanks to ongoing issues, plenty of people found themselves staying put over the holidays in lieu of traveling back to their hometowns. For me, that meant not battling it out at Lax to grab two flights to get me halfway through the country, only to have to rent a car and drive the last two-and-a-half hours to my hometown. Even without global health concerns, I might not have made it back to my family anyway, thanks to a late-breaking Christmas blizzard that left the area a morass of ice and snow that my skin, thinned by years of California life, never could have withstood.
And yet, thanks to the release of Season 9 of Hulu’s “Letterkenny,” I’m suffering from far less homesickness than one would expect under the circumstances.
