- Has also DJ'd around the world under the name, Mr. Rainwater.
- Went into the Navy right out of high school. He served on the DDG-38 USS Luce until his mother was diagnosed with cancer. He was discharged after one year of service.
- Got his start in the business working as an uncredited PA on projects in Orlando, Florida such as Swampthing, Superboy, and Passenger 57.
- Lived out of his car and later on the street after his discharge from the Navy while his mother fought cancer. She later succumbed to the disease.
- Wrote his first book in the fourth grade. The book, The Cattle Creatures, can still be found in the Conway Elementary school library.
- Got his start directing for cause based projects such as The Truth Anti-Tobacco campaign and CDC's VERB campaign.
- Is Native American, from the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.
- Has worked with Rosario Dawson on two films, Sugar and Lost in America where she was also an Executive Producer.
