With the Super Bowl just days away, it's time to start thinking about how you'll throw your big football bash (if you haven't already). Event designer David Stark dished to E! News about how to take the traditional Super Bowl party up a notch, with a few decoration ideas fit for the ultimate football fan. "A great party starts with the invitation," Stark said. "It's you're coming attraction." For the perfect invite, Stark recommended sending a mini foam finger instead of a generic card, which can be found at novelty shops or online. The invite also doubles as a prop that guests can use to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks or Denver Broncos during the...

Many May Hope To freewheel through summer, but for New York event producer David Stark, business is just heating up. Fall gala season is fast approaching, which means Stark is busy crafting otherworldly environments for events that include a black-tie fundraiser for the Metropolitan Opera and a dinner for the Cooper-Hewitt's National Design Awards.
The designer has risen to the top of the industry by building parties that feel like art installations.

Film maker John Waters famously dubbed the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (Diffa)'s annual fund-raiser, "Dining by Design," the "Cannes of Tabletop." And with good reason. If these tables could walk, they would have been at home strolling the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals, dressed to kill. Such design heavy-hitters as David Rockwell, David Stark, Vincente Wolf, Joseph Carini, and Michael Tavano put their talent where their heart is this week by ponying up designs for the event, which is being held at New York's Pier 94 in conjunction with Architectural Digest's Home Design Show. The show will continue through Monday, March 22.
