- The first Canadian rock band to top U.S. charts. From 1969-1974, their hits included: "American Woman", "No Time", "Share The Land", "Hand Me Down World", "Undun", "Laughing", "These Eyes", "Albert Flasher", "Star Baby" and "Clap For The Wolfman" (A tribute to DJ Wolfman Jack). Their former lead singer Burton Cummings began a successful solo career in 1976 with a huge hit, "Stand Tall".
