When the whole Star Wars saga started, the Jedis and the Siths started taking over our lives. And none of us probably thought there would come a day when Lucasfilms would give us a Star Wars movie with Darth Jar Jar. But here we are today, as Disney dropped the trailer for Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, and this is exactly what we got!
Darth Jar Jar in Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy | Lucasfilm / Disney
The Darth Jar Jar theory is longstanding and amusingly absurd, and still something that makes you think twice. So when fans get an official nod to this absurd theory and see Jar Jar Binks in his Sith version, they are undoubtedly going to be losing their minds. Even if it is lego!

Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is exactly the kind of nonsense Star Wars and, honestly, Disney+ needs right now! I don’t need to see any more Filoni fan fiction or showrunner therapy sessions in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Please give me some silly stuff!
Today, the Star Wars YouTube channel uploaded a teaser trailer for the upcoming “four-piece” Disney+ series, which promises, “History will be rebuilt.” Who’s ready to go on this ride with Stranger Things‘ Gaten Matarazzo?
“In Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, the entire Star Wars galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact called the Cornerstone from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends...

The world of Star Wars is a truly amazing and exceptionally large fictional universe, and despite the fact that Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm led to a larger revamp of the canon and non-canon works, most fans still rely on the old distinctions, which is far more inclusive and expansive than the current, official canon which has been significantly reduced by Disney. The non-canon part of Star Wars consisted of numerous stories, most of them in book form, but some in comic book form, and one such series was Infinities, which was basically the franchise’s answer to Marvel’s What if…?.
Star Wars Infinities presented us with alternative takes on known stories from the Star Wars universe, and the first ever issue of this imprint, Star Wars Infinities: A New Hope #1, came out in 2001, telling an alternative tale in which Luke fails to destroy the Death Star and the...

One thing everyone can agree on when it comes to the prequel trilogy is that George Lucas put his heart into those films, which can’t be said for the recent Star Wars flicks from Disney. But before departing from the iconic IP, Lucas also had plans on how the sequel trilogy would pan out, and while Disney did agree to respect his original wishes, unfortunately, it wasn’t the case.
Furthermore, following the failure of The Rise of the Skywalker, Lucasfilm strayed away from big-screen releases and shifted its focus to the small screen. But had Lucas’ original plans been incorporated, the sequel trilogy would’ve shattered stereotypes by introducing a new Darth Vader.

Bounty hunters are amongst the most beloved subset of characters in the "Star Wars" galaxy, and it's easy to see why. There's something appealing about operating for one's self while still having some odd code of honor, operating in the gray somewhere between bad and good. It certainly doesn't hurt that so many of them just look cool, which is part of what made Boba Fett one of the most popular characters in the franchise in the first place. But Boba Fett doesn't have a monopoly on bounty hunting and today, we're here to talk about one of his counterparts; Bossk.
The reptilian-looking alien is a member of the Trandoshan race. He was first introduced to audiences in "The Empire Strikes Back" during the scene where Darth Vader assembles a group of bounty hunters to track down Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. While he was only on screen for mere seconds,...

A good blooper brings the fun in any circumstance, and a good sci-fi blooper provides the bonus of philosophical schadenfreude: A genre premised on the efficiency of technology, suddenly falling prey to the fallibility and unseriousness of man. A lot of the best sci-fi movies and shows — especially those of the more meditative "hard sci-fi" variety — don't even release blooper reels, so as not to break the illusion of an immersive high-tech world.
Among the movies and shows that do, however, we often have the pleasure of watching the villains of the high-tech worlds in question fumble their way through scenes and lines, or just up and go off-script for the sake of the crew's momentary entertainment. And the results can be hilarious, endearing, and even informative about what makes those movies and characters tick. From Cate Blanchett to Tatiana Maslany to Jamie Campbell Bower to a stubborn light pole,...

Actor-comedian Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda Williams has reacted to the usage of AI to recreate her late father’s voice, saying that she finds it extremely disturbing. Taking to her Instagram stories, Zelda wrote a lengthy statement saying: “I am not an impartial voice in SAG’s fight against AI.”
“I’ve witnessed for Years how many people want to train these models to create/recreate actors who cannot consent, like Dad. This isn’t theoretical, it is very very real.”
She continued: “I’ve already heard AI used to get his ‘voice’ to say whatever people want and while I find it personally disturbing, the ramifications go far beyond my own feelings. Living actors deserve a chance to create characters with their choices, to voice cartoons, to put their Human effort and time into the pursuit of performance.”
Concluding her post, she wrote: “These recreations are, at their very best,...
