Donald Trump has been a busy man this year, but is he too busy to get a facelift? That’s the question many are asking after he showed off a remarkably wrinkle free appearance at a Mar-a-Lago earlier this year.
It was Trump’s ear that allegedly got tongues wagging. Apparently, social media users noticed a scar in this area and they had a field day with the pic. Here is what to know about The Donald’s face.
Did Donald Trump Get A Facelift?
According to TheList.com.at least one respected plastic surgeon, Andrew Douglas, nixed the idea of a facelift for Trump, a 2024 presidential hopeful. Douglas told Newsweek that “the lighting may have contributed” to what looked like an improved mug on the former Potus.
But he did admit that it was impossible to determine from the photo if Trump had a facelift. He noted that Trump...

This may be stating the obvious, but we love horror here at JoBlo towers, and it’s great to see that the genre is currently thriving, with not just the obligatory franchise stalwarts that rely upon jump scares doing well but also new and original movies such as Talk to Me and Ti Wests’ X follow-up Pearl. However, there’s also a trend that won’t go away, and will never go away, of course, for better or worse. Yeah, you know what we’re talking about gore-hounds, the remake. The Sports Emmy Awards may not be the most obvious focal point for the future of television documentary production, but Tennis Channel contender “Strokes of Genius,” which commemorates the 10-year anniversary of a historic match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, provides an intriguing case study. A fast-paced retelling of the nearly five-hour 2006 showdown between the champions of the sport, it marks the first time that the network has produced a nonfiction feature in-house for wide release, with a serious Emmy campaign to boot. (Sports Emmy voting runs February 22 through March 8.) But it almost didn’t happen that way.
“We had a lot of outside interest,” said Tennis Channel president Ken Solomon in an interview at the U.S. Open, shortly after the documentary first aired last fall. “Obviously, people knew the story.” However, the decision to adapt L. Jon Wertheim’s 2009 book required access to reams of archival footage...

Swiss star Roger Federer and his Spanish rival Rafael Nadal have ruled men’s tennis for most of the 21st century thus far. But there was one epochal moment that proved to be a turning point in their competitive careers — and by “moment,” I mean the nearly five hours it took for Nadal to upset Federer at the Wimbeldon final in 2008 in what John McEnroe described as the greatest match in tennis history. The documentary “Strokes of Genius” premiered on the Tennis Channel on June 1, 2018, chronicling that match 10 years after the fact, when both Federer and Nadal are both still regularly winning grand slam tournaments.
At 4 hours and 48 minutes, not counting rain delays that stretched the game past sundown, it was the longest Wimbeldon final in the tournament’s history, long enough that “Strokes of Genius” has time to intercut the story of the match with interludes that tell us...

When FBI agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) sits down with convicted serial killer Edmund Kemper (Cameron Britton) in the Netflix series Mindhunter, he’s both terrified and fascinated. Kemper, serving multiple life sentences for a spate of brutal kidnappings and murders - including his own mother - could offer a valuable insight into a criminal mindset that was barely understood in the late 1970s. Ford hopes to use a series of interviews with Kemper, and convicts like him, to build up a psychological profile which could be used to help track down other serial murderers; it soon becomes apparent, however, that Ford’s fascination with Kemper runs beyond the strictly professional.

I'm currently in the middle of watching David Fincher's Netflix series Mindhunter and it's one hell of a great show and absolutely fascinating. The story follows a couple of FBI agents in 1977 who are studying the minds of serial killers so that they help catch them faster because, “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks?”
The series is based on the 1996 nonfiction novel by Mark Olshaker and John Douglas‘ called "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit." Even though it's a mostly fictionalized series, it is inspired by real-life events.
Thanks to series composer Jason Hill, we've learned what Season 2 is going to focus on. While talking to Billboard, he revealed that the second season will examine the Atlanta child murders. If you're not familiar with this tragic event it was a string of 28 murders, mostly children and adolescents,...

Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for David Fincher's upcoming series Mindhunter. The series is set in 1979 and it follows two FBI agents, Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), who are trying to understand the mindset of serial killers.
In this teaser, right before Holden goes to meet with a serial killer, Bill scares the shit out of him when telling him what will happen if he brings a gun into the room with him when meeting with the killer. He tells him that the killer will take the gun, kill him, and then have sex with his face. It's a very dark kind of humor, which is something that Fincher is great at.
The series is an adaptation of the 1996 nonfiction novel by Mark Olshaker and John Douglas‘ called "Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit." I've provided a description of that book below the teaser.

What I’m about to write is probably going to catch a lot of flack, but here it goes – in terms of creating a horror movie experience, I actually prefer The Amityville Horror (2005) to the 1979 movie. While director Stuart Rosenberg’s original is well-made and features strong performances from its leads, I’ve never really been a fan of it, and thus, have found over the last decade or so a true admiration for what Amityville (2005) was able to bring to the table.
Not only does the remake give us deeper characters to invest in, better scares, and made the act of chopping wood absolutely one of the most horrifying things ever, but it also does what all good cinematic retellings should do – respect its roots but also steps out and does something different. So when it comes to all the Platinum Dunes remakes, I do think The Amityville Horror...

The subject matter Will drag you in.
If we've learned nothing after the countless number of programming hours on television dedicated to the hunt of serial killers, we are absolutely fascinated by them.
Our first look at the upcoming series Mindhunter from Netflix is filled with quotable phrases indicating the 1979 FBI might get in a little over their heads in their hunt for the worst of the worst.
While the chit chat starts out from the familiar voice of Anna Torv (Fringe), it continues with words from Holt McCallanay (Sully).
He sounds like he's warning a man who might be the greenest and most excited of the bunch.
His attitude is going to bite him in the ass. He thinks it's his job electrocute them not commiserate with them.

Bella Thorne and Cameron Monaghan both flaunt edgier new looks on the L.A. set of “Amityville,” the Franck Khalfoun-directed reboot of the longtime Amityville Horror franchise. The original 1979 haunted house flick by Stuart Rosenberg centered on a newlywed couple moving into the infamous Long Island house, where they soon discover that it was the site of a murder and fall victim to its supernatural terrors. The film went on to spawn numerous sequels and reboots throughout the decades, with the most prolific arguably being Andrew Douglas’ “The Amityville Horror” in 2005, which starred Ryan Reynolds, Melissa George, Jesse James, [...]

It's nine years since we last experienced an Amityville Horror, in the form of Andrew Douglas's remake with Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George. Since then there's been the brilliant documentary My Amityville Horror, picking up with the real-life Amityville "survivor" Daniel Lutz to genuinely alarming effect, but more familiarly fictionalised versions of the story have been languishing in development hell for years. Hannibal Classics' Amityville Legacy remains there, but the Weinsteins' The Amityville Tapes has just resurfaced and finally been given the green light. Franck Khalfoun (the Maniac remake) is directing, and Bd are also reporting that Jennifer Jason Leigh will star. This Amityville has been in the works since before all the problems at MGM (remember those?), and comes as part of the Weinsteins' / Dimension's Miramax deal to revisit their "library" and produce sequels to established properties.Hannibal's Legacy was going to be based on an elderly Amityville...

In 2003, in Manchester, England, a 16-year-old boy whispered the words, "I love you, bro," as he plunged a knife into his best friend, who nearly died but didn't.
The bizarre series of events behind this crime inspired the acclaimed opera Two Boys and now Uwantme2killhim?, a compelling but ultimately unsatisfying film.
Mark (Jamie Blackley, excellent) is handsome, popular, and increasingly in love with Rachel, a twentysomething girl who talks dirty to him in online chat rooms. (Remember those?) At Rachel's urging, Mark befriends her much-bullied brother, John (Toby Regbo). The two soon prove inseparable, even as Mark becomes obsessed with a new online friend whose sly manipulations ultimately drive him to murder.

★★☆☆☆ A social networking period drama (if there is such a thing), Andrew Douglas' Uwantme2killhim? (2013) is based loosely on a true story that - due to the British legal system - has remained unpublicised for almost a decade. Utilising a Vanity Fair article of the same name about an attempted murder motivated by an online chat room, this thriller about the dangers of the internet brings a fascinating story to the big screen - to strangely dull effect. After becoming besotted with Rachel (Jaime Winston), high school student Mark (Jamie Blackley) finds himself roped into protecting her little brother, John (Toby Regbo).
Rachel and Mark are unable to socialise due to the fact that she's currently under witness protection (her gangster boyfriend is providing evidence in court). Thus, Mark's only connection to her is through his dial-up modem and the bond he makes with her sibling. When he discovers...

In general, films with youth or text-speak titles are to be avoided, and so the annoyingly monikered “uwantme2killhim?” doesn’t exactly hold much initial promise. To be fair, it at least has some justification for its awkward name, being based on bizarre but true events from the UK back in 2003 revolving around teenagers, internet friendships and murder; though still, even trying to pronounce it makes for an unpleasant mouthful. Directed by Andrew Douglas (“The Amityville Horror”) and produced by Bryan Singer (“X-Men”, “The Usual Suspects”), the film opens with Jamie Blackley (“Snow White and the Huntsman”) as the 16-year-old Mark, being taken into custody by the police after the murder of one of his friends. Flashbacks emerge as he is interviewed, revealing his online relationship with Rachel (Jaime Winstone, “Donkey Punch”), who he fell in love with despite never having met. Totally besotted, Mark agrees to protect her oddball younger brother John (Toby Regbo,...

Its time for another showdown Stuart Rosenbergs The Amityville Horror or Andrew Douglas take Enter to find out who wins this duel It was only a matter of time before Stuart Rosenbergs The Amityville Horror toed the line with Andrew Douglas rendition. Distanced by more than 25 years these two films are surprisingly similar. Of course Douglas tale has been contemporized (despite functioning in the original era) a bit and the special effects arent exactly as practical as those we witnessed 34 years ago. All the same these are two solid films and they deserve a sidebyside analysis to determine which is truly superior.

Review by Andrew MacArthur of The Peoples Movies
Viewers may initially be taken aback when seeing the credits of upcoming British feature uwantme2killhim? What appears as a low-key thriller actually has some big Hollywood names behind it – including Bryan Singer and Bob and Harvey Weinstein. This should serve an indicator as to the promise that Andrew Douglas’ (2005′s The Amityville Horror) feature shows.
Based on a true story, the film details teenager Mark’s (Jamie Blackley) growing obsession with the world of internet chatrooms and the dark, tragic consequences this ultimately builds up to.
The early stages of the film feature Mark on a chat-room speaking to cyber-girlfriend Rachel (Jaime Winston) who asks the teenager to look out for her “weird” brother John (Toby Regbo) who is bullied at school.

The Festival was over, and the boys were all planning for the Fall…
Due to circumstances outside of my control my intended 12 movies this year was reduced to 10, meaning that I saw less of this year’s Festival than any Edinburgh Film Festival in years. So you are welcome to take my conviction that it wasn’t a great year with a pinch of salt; I am not in a position to say it with any authority. And still, I suspect I am correct; there was a time when almost every public screening at the Festival would be sold-out, while this year 2-for-1 and free tickets seemed to be offered on a daily basis to get bums on seats. There were empty seats, once again, for the closing night film (Not Another Happy Ending and, judging by the film, there may have been more empty seats at the end than...

Documentaries dominate as film festival wraps up, with Piper Alpha film and refugee camp study taking major honours
The experimental documentary Leviathan has won the Michael Powell award for best British feature at the Edinburgh international film festival, which closes on Friday.
Directed by Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Véréna Paravel, Leviathan is an impressionist study of a fishing trawler at work off the coast of Massachusetts, and was described by the jury – headed by Iranian director Samira Makhmalbaf – as "an original and imaginative documentary which observes the brutal routine of deep-sea fishing in a way which completely immerses the watcher in its story".
Castaing-Taylor and Paravel said: "We are totally bowled over by the news of this award. All our films have been rejected by every British film festival to date, so it is all the more moving for us!"

Get past the title, and uwantme2killhim? is a movie with one or two good tricks up its sleeve...
Produced by Bryan Singer (yes, that one), and directed by the 2005 Amityville Horror/countless adverts helmer Andrew Douglas, uwantme2killhim is a solid, well constructed story about teenage isolation. Its mysteries play out well, resolved quickly and satisfactorily, though it never quite realises its potential. Based on a true story, its focus on one of its subjects is both a boon and a problem for the movie.
Mark (Jamie Blackley), is a popular 16 year old boy. We see a little of his life before the start of the main narrative, but not enough to really get to know him. uwantme2killhim came with a free pamphlet detailing the cast and crew, and their thoughts on the film, and here the idea of Mark peaking too soon is brought up.

"When I wrote 120 Malay Movies I tried to watch all of the 34 movies that P Ramlee directed. I almost succeeded." Amir Muhammad (The Last Communist, Malaysian Gods) would eventually see 33; Sitora Harimau Jadian (1964) seems to have been lost. He tells us the story of how he came upon what amounts to P Ramlee's own novelization of Sitora Harimau Jadian, "describing what happens in his movie, scene by scene. The book is slim, only 124 pages, and I'm glad it was also fleshed out with pictures from the movie (which might be the only chance we will ever get to 'see' it)." He gives us a sample and then announces that he's republishing the book, which will be out next month and already has a fan page.

Summary: Ned is a well-meaning idealist just released from prison for dealing cannabis. Analysis: Scoring a good response over the weekend at the Sundance Film Festival, this broad light comedy with a sweet heart charmed the pants off The Weinstein Company to the tune of around $6 million for distribution rights. That covers most of its sub-$10 million budget, a number that it could potentially outgross by several factors if the good-natured tone hinted at in the reviews were correct. If anything, the few negatives tended to be because this...
