The Jedi padawan of Anakin Skywalker has officially started her live-action journey. The character of Ahsoka made her debut in the pre-Disney era of Star Wars with the 2008 animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Fans really took to this new character, who was conceived by George Lucas and Dave Filoni, although she only truly existed through the spin-off show at the time. No official mention or reference had been made in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith despite taking place after the events of The Clone Wars. However, the popularity of Ahsoka in the extended universe, especially in Star Wars: Rebels, would now bring her fully into realization with the new Disney+ series, Ahsoka.
Ahsoka is premiering on the streaming platform on August 23, but many have already been previewed to the first two episodes, and the early reactions to the show have been posted to X...

The delectable Anna Popplewell (below) has left the land of Narnia and hasn't looked back when she boarded writer/director John Hales' 'Passengers' this past Summer. The project, described as a 'hard-hitting psychological horror thriller', is based on a story by Hales and Carole Budgen. The British cast also consists of the sexy Sophie Colquhoun ('Captain America: The First Avenger'), Jack Derges ('Dungeons and Dragons: The Book of Vile Darkness), Danny Szam, Ian Weichardt, Calvin Dean ('Tormented') and Tom Bacon. Some casting details are coming in for Plan B's (Ben Drew) hip-hop musical Ill Manors. Mem Ferda has been attached to this production as the villain Vladimir, who lives a tough life on the streets of East London. These tough times are taken out on the character Katya (Natalie Press), who plays a prostitute. Ferda changed physically for this role by weightlifing and having several temporary tattoos applied to his skin. The original graphics can be seen left. Other characters had to transform for their roles to play those down on their luck and also starring are Riz Ahmed, Martin Serene, and Anouska Mond.
Others might know Plan B based on his musical talents including his chart topping album "The Defamation of Strickland Banks." Ill Manors will have a hip-hop musical vibe that will set the vicious tone for the film, with Plan B co-producing several new tracks for this film.
