Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress -- at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite. In the meantime: Is this a movie you'd want to see? Tell us in the comments. Logline: A short silent film comedy with a modern action twist. Elevator Pitch: A traditional mime finds that she's in danger of being upstaged when a modern mime moves in on her territory at a park. Their rivalry starts with harmless teasing but quickly escalates into an extravagant mime fight. By having mimes as lead characters, we see a chance to showcase our love of silent film comedy, particularly the films of Charlie Chaplin. On the flip side, because the centerpiece is a mime fight, we also see an enticing opportunity to make an action movie, drawing inspiration from filmmakers such as the Shaw Brothers and John Woo.
