In 1966, she sued Andy Warhol for his unauthorized use of her photograph of blossoms taken in a garden in Barbados in 1966. Warhol had created silk screen paintings for them resulting in them reaching an out-of-court settlement where he produced two silk screen portraits of her photos plus share 25% of all future profit generated from the original silk screen portraits he created.
